Manufacturing signage assemblies, systems, and devices are shown and described. Recyclable signage intended for outdoor use may include a medium with a coated unactivated striped front and rear face, an adjacent liner sheet, and wherein the fluted medium and the liner are adhered with an adhesive to form the signage.

CONFORMABLE, RECYCLABLE SHIPPING CONTAINER, MACHINE AND METHOD

The present disclosure is directed to a shipping container with a corrugated medium that lines an interior pocket of the shipping container as well devices and components (e.g., corrugating rollers, corrugating machines, scoring rollers, and scoring machines) that are utilized to manufacture the shipping containers. The corrugated medium has flutes that cushion, support, and protect a product that is shipped within the shipping container. The corrugated medium may include a first portion with first flutes and a second portion with second flutes that are offset relative to the first flutes. The offset first flutes and second flutes results in peaks of the first flutes nesting within valleys of the second flutes, and peaks of the second flutes nesting within valleys of the first flutes.

Method and system for producing a three-dimensionally deformed plate

A method for manufacturing a three-dimensionally deformed plate made of a wood fiber material comprises providing a prefabricated, flat wood fiber material plate as the original plate, preheating the original plate in sections, wetting the preheated section of the original plate with an atomized liquid mixture of water and a separating agent, introducing a section of the original plate that is preheated and wetted with a liquid mixture of water and a separating agent between two rollers of a molding station, wherein the rollers respectively provide a corrugated profile in the peripheral direction of the external surface, such that the original plate is being deformed in sections into a plate with a wave shape, wherein rollers are being used, the respective profiling of which has half-waves which follow one another in the peripheral direction and which at least partially have a different extension in the peripheral direction.

A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING CORRUGATED PAPERBOARD

A method for manufacturing corrugated paperboard is disclosed. The method comprises: directing a corrugating medium from a corrugating medium supply roll to a pair of corrugating rolls; and operating the pair of corrugating rolls to corrugate the corrugating medium; wherein each corrugating roll is operated at ambient temperature; and wherein the step of operating the pair of corrugating rolls to corrugate the corrugating medium comprises forming a fluted web in which the corrugating medium substantially conforms around a plurality of corrugator peaks and is spaced from a plurality of corrugator troughs in at least one of the pair of corrugating rolls.

A system for manufacturing a three-dimensionally deformed plate made of a wood fiber material comprises a preheating station, a wetting device, and a molding station including two rollers spaced apart for receipt of a preheated and wetted flat wood fiber material plate therebetween. The rollers respectively include an external surface including a wave-shaped profiling in the peripheral direction, wherein the respective profiling has half-waves which follow one another in the peripheral direction, and which have a different extension in the peripheral direction

PLANT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CORRUGATED CARDBOARD WITH GLUING DEFECT DETECTOR
20180079162 · 2018-03-22 · ·

The plant includes a single facer for the production of a corrugated board. Video cameras detect any gluing defects or other defects of the corrugated cardboard. An image processing unit and a central control unit provide information about the detected defects and can act on one or more operating parameters of the plant.

EMBOSSMENTS HAVING GENERALLY HOMOGENOUS LAYERS

Multi-layer packaging articles can include embossments formed on each layer. The packaging articles can be formed from multi layer webs. An embossing device can locally deform one of the web layers into another, overlying web layer to form the embossments. The webs can include features that permit the web material to be deformed with little, or no tearing of the web material.

Corrugating roller having enhanced heat transfer effectiveness

A fluid circulation heating roller according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a roller body having a hollow cylindrical shape, a rotation shaft extending from each of opposite end portions of the roller body and disposed in the same center line, multiple first ducts extending in an axial direction in the roller body so as to heat the outer circumferential portion of the roller body, multiple second ducts extending in the axial direction on the outer circumferential portion of the roller body, wherein the number of second ducts are the same as the number of first ducts, and an insert inserted into at least one of the first or second ducts and extending in the axial direction. The generation of turbulence flow of fluid can be suppressed and laminar flow can be induced, whereby it is possible to maintain fluid-flowing speed and facilitate steam circulation and heat transfer.

Corrugating roller

One or more corrugating rollers configured to, in operation, corrugate paper materials to form a corrugated medium. The corrugated medium formed utilizing the one or more corrugating rollers is then utilized to form one or more shipping containers. For example, the corrugated medium is utilized to line an interior pocket of the shipping container. The corrugated medium has flutes that cushion a product that is shipped within the shipping container. The offset flutes are formed by a corrugated roller that includes one or more groups of flutes.

Corrugating rollers

Corrugating rollers include an outer surface, a first flute on the outer surface, the first flute having a first height, and a second flute on the outer surface, the second flute having a second height that is different than the first height.
