Substrates having repeating patterns of apertures for absorbent articles
The present disclosure is directed to substrates or topsheets having repeating patterns of apertures for absorbent articles. Each of the repeat units comprises at least three apertures.
Elastic nonwoven fabric sheets and methods for making the same
The invention relates to a nonwoven fabric sheet comprising at least two adjacent layers of spunbonded nonwoven webs, one of which is an elastic layer in the form of a spunbonded nonwoven web comprising elastic fibers formed from a thermoplastic elastomer polymer material. The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing such nonwoven and the use of such nonwoven.
Disposable face mask with integrated tie-on face mask straps
A disposable face mask includes an upper portion of the face mask and a lower portion of the face mask, the upper portion and lower portion of the face masks each adjoin monolithically formed therewith face mask straps defined by perforations in a web of material used to form the face mask and straps, wherein the perforations allow the straps to be partially separated and utilized for securing said face mask to a wearer's face. The disposable face mask may be made by perforating patterns into a web of materials to define the face mask straps and face mask body that are formed monolithically from the web of materials. The face masks may be wound on a roll for dispensing by tearing off from the roll and then separating the straps at the perforations. Alternatively, the face mask borders may be cut-through to allow dispensing of the face masks individually from bulk packaging, where the face mask is removed from the package and the straps are separated at the perforations to allow the face mask to be secured to the wearer's face by tying the straps behind the wearer's head.
OIL AND FUEL COLLECTOR
There is disclosed a collector for machine fluids, comprising a mat having a perimeter wall upstanding therefrom, the mat and/or the wall comprising oleophilic material and the wall being water-permeable, so that water falling into the collector within the perimeter wall can escape therefrom, while the machine fluids are retained by said oleophilic material and wherein the collector comprises at least one composite component for machine fluid retention comprising at least three layers wherein at least one layer comprises activated carbon and wherein this layer is secured within the composite between two layers of porous material mechanically bonded to each other, preferably via needle punching, through the activated carbon layer. The collector has high efficiency in removing PAHs and other aromatics from oil/fuel contaminated water.
Waterproof sound-transmitting sheet for facilitating vision inspection
Disclosed is a waterproof sound-transmitting sheet for facilitating a visual inspection, which radiates a polymer material in a state of blending a pigment to form a waterproof layer having an achromatic color, thereby facilitating a vision inspection, and improving a water repellence even while making the waterproof sound-transmitting sheet thin and light. The disclosed waterproof sound-transmitting sheet for facilitating the visual inspection includes an acoustic layer interposed between an upper waterproof layer and a lower waterproof layer, and at least one of the upper waterproof layer and the lower waterproof layer is composed of a porous colored membrane having a color.
WIPING SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING WIPING SHEET
A wiping sheet having a plurality of nonwoven fabrics that are stacked and bonded together includes cellulose nanofiber that is included in an applied part where adjacent nonwoven fabrics among the nonwoven fabrics are bonded. At least one of the adjacent nonwoven fabrics is a spunlace nonwoven fabric.
SPUNBONDED LAMINATE AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A laminate has first and second spunbonded nonwoven layers at least one of which comprises or consists essentially of crimped continuous filaments that are bicomponent filaments having a first component based on polypropylene and a second component based on polypropylene. A specific density ρ (g/cm.sup.3) of the spunbonded nonwoven laminate depending on the surface density of the spunbonded nonwoven laminate lies below a density limit ρ.sub.G defined by the following equation:
ρ.sub.G=9 cm.sup.−1×surface density g/cm.sup.2+0.0393 g/cm.sup.3.
USE OF A COMPOSITE MATERIAL AS PACKAGING MATERIAL
A packaging includes a composite material. The composite material includes a barrier layer and a backing layer. The backing layer includes a spunbonded nonwoven, arranged on at least one side of the barrier layer and bonded to the barrier layer by heat and pressure. The barrier layer includes a nonwoven containing 1 to 70 wt % melt-blown fibers and 30 to 99 wt % staple fibers, relative to a total weight of the nonwoven in each case.
RECYCLABLE, ASYMMETRICAL-FACED COMPOSITE NONWOVEN TEXTILE
Aspects herein are directed to a recyclable, asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile suitable for use in apparel and other articles and methods of making the same. In example aspects, the asymmetrical-faced composite nonwoven textile includes a first face formed, at least in part from a first entangled web of fibers and an opposite second face formed, at least in part from a second entangled web of fibers. When incorporated into an article of apparel, the first face forms an outer-facing surface of the article of apparel, and the second face forms an inner-facing surface of the article of apparel. The first face includes features making it suitable to form the outer-facing surface such as resistance to abrasion, and the second face includes features making it suitable to form an inner-facing surface such as a soft hand.
RECYCLABLE, ASYMMETRICAL-FACED COMPOSITE NONWOVEN TEXTILE WITH DIFFERENT COLORED FIBERS
