FILTERS AND FACEMASKS HAVING ANTIMICROBIAL OR ANTIVIRAL PROPERTIES
A filter or mask structure, comprising a first face layer comprising a polymer and having a face basis weight, a second outer layer comprising a polymer and having an outer basis weight less than 34 gsm, and a third outer layer comprising a polymer and having a third basis weight and disposed between the first face layer and the second outer layer. At least one of the layers further comprises an AM/AV compound. The mask structure demonstrates an Escherichia coli efficacy log reduction greater than 4.0, as measured in accordance with ASTM E3160 (2018) and a particulate filtration efficiency greater than 90%, as measured in accordance with ASTM F2299-03R17.
WASHABLE AND REUSABLE FACE MASK WITH REPLACEABLE FILTER
A face mask include a bulbous area that reduces contact between the wearer and the mask, with the inner surface texture and material adapted to be comfortable to the wearer. The bulbous area may be equipped with a filter retained by slots at the edge of the bulbous area, with the inner surface texture and material of the filter also adapted to be comfortable to the wearer. The mask may be knit with seamless transitions between wearer-contacting surfaces and the bulbous area, which enhance the comfort of the mask. The mask may include silvered yarns for antimicrobial properties. Furthermore, the bulbous area increases the effective surface area of the mask on both inhalation and exhalation, unlike pleats that collapse on inhalation.
COMPOSITE PROTECTIVE MATERIAL FOR EPIDEMIC PREVENTION OF COVID-19 AND METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME
The disclosure provides a composite protective material for epidemic prevention of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and a preparation method thereof. The composite protective material for epidemic prevention of COVID-19 comprises a support layer, a nanofiber antibacterial layer and a skin friendly layer which are successively arranged from outside to inside, wherein the nanofiber antibacterial layer comprises at least one layer of hydroxyl terminated hyperbranched polyester nanofiber non-woven fabric loaded with graphene modified by diisocyanate and at least one layer of carboxyl terminated hyperbranched polyester nanofiber non-woven fabric loaded with graphene modified by polyethylene polyamine, wherein the hydroxyl terminated hyperbranched polyester nanofiber non-woven fabric and the carboxyl terminated hyperbranched polyester nanofiber non-woven fabric are condensed and crosslinked to form a penetrating network; the graphene modified by diisocyanate and the terminal hydroxyl of the hydroxyl terminated hyperbranched polyester nanofiber or amino of polyethylene polyamine form chemical bonding, the amino of polyethylene polyamine and the terminal carboxyl of the carboxyl terminated hyperbranched polyester nanofiber or isocyanate of diisocyanate form chemical bonding, thereby endowing dacron fabrics with excellent antibacterial property, chemical property and air permeability.
CONCRETE CURING BLANKETS AND ANTI-BACTERIAL TEXTILE FIBERS
Disclosed are fibers which include silver particles as incorporated into textile at low concentrations to render the textiles as bactericidal in accordance with various standards including government standards.
CONCRETE CURING BLANKETS
Disclosed are concrete curing blankets having two or more channels. The channels extend longitudinally and are formed by fluid-tight seals, where all of the layers of the blanket are bonded together. The concrete curing blankets are placed over poured and curing concrete to maintain high water content in the concrete during curing and to accelerate the concrete curing and hardening processes.
Multilayer nonwoven fabric, stretchable multilayer nonwoven fabric, fiber product, absorbent article, and sanitary mask
A multilayer nonwoven fabric includes: an elastic nonwoven fabric containing a specific low crystalline polypropylene; and a mixed fiber spunbonded nonwoven fabric disposed on at least one surface of the elastic nonwoven fabric, wherein the mixed fiber spunbonded nonwoven fabric contains a long fiber of a thermoplastic elastomer (A) and a long fiber of a thermoplastic elastomer (B) other than the thermoplastic elastomer (A), in a ratio of 10 to 90% by mass:90 to 10% by mass ((A):(B), with the proviso that (A)+(B)=100% by mass).
NONWOVEN LAMINATE
The invention provides a nonwoven laminate, comprising in order (A) to (E): a spunbond nonwoven layer (A) comprising fibres, which comprise polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and copolyester; an optional spunbond nonwoven layer (B) comprising fibres, which comprise polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and copolyester, the nonwoven layer (B) having a higher copolyester content than nonwoven layer (A); a needled staple fibre nonwoven layer (C), comprising: monocomponent polyethylene terephthalate (PET) staple fibres (c1), and multicomponent staple fibres (c2), which comprise at least a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) component and a copolyester component; an optional spunbond nonwoven layer (D) comprising fibres, which comprise polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and copolyester, the nonwoven layer (D) having a higher copolyester content than nonwoven layer (E); a spunbond nonwoven layer (E) comprising fibres, which comprise polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and copolyester; wherein all layers are melt-bonded to each other.
Nonwoven fabric layered body, stretchable nonwoven fabric layered body, fiber product, absorbent article, and sanitary mask
A nonwoven fabric layered body, including: an elastic nonwoven fabric; and an extensible spunbond nonwoven fabric that is disposed on at least one surface side of the elastic nonwoven fabric and that has a degree of maximum load elongation of 50% or more in at least one direction, the nonwoven fabric layered body satisfying the following (1) and (2). (1) The elastic nonwoven fabric includes a resin composition containing a specific low-crystalline polypropylene, and an -olefin copolymer A containing an ethylene-derived constitutional unit and a propylene-derived constitutional unit, and having a melting point of 100 C. or more and a crystallization degree of 15% or less. (2) The resin composition contains from 5 parts by mass to 50 parts by mass of the -olefin copolymer A with respect to 100 parts by mass of the resin composition.
