Nonwoven fabrics including recycled polypropylene
Nonwoven fabrics are provided that include a first meltblown layer, in which the first meltblown layer comprises a first polymeric material including (i) a first polymer component and (ii) optionally one or more first additives. The first polymer component comprises a first recycled-polypropylene (rPP).
Dual-layer gas filters and systems and methods for making the same
Filter media and filters are provided that include at least two layers and a plurality of nanoparticles dispersed in depth within at least one of the layers. A gas filter comprises a first layer of fibers, a second layer of fibers bonded to the first layer and a plurality of nanoparticles incorporated into the first layer. The nanoparticles increase the overall surface area within the filter, which increases its filtration efficiency and allows for the capture of submicron contaminants without significantly compromising other factors, such as pressure drop (i.e., air flow) through the filter. In addition, the filters disclosed herein are capable of withstanding rigorous conditioning, which allows the filter to achieve the same level of filtration performance throughout the lifetime of the filter. Systems, devices and methods are also provided for manufacturing such filters.
Face mask
The invention relates to a face mask comprising a compound structure with an inner layer and two sandwich layers, wherein the inner layer is made from a filter material for filtering particles and germs, the sandwich layers are made from a textile material, the inner layer is sandwiched by the sandwich layers, and the sandwich layers are bonded to the inner layer at least in sections along the perimeter of the face mask and in sections in the inner area of the face mask. In this way, a reusable face mask with enhanced filtration efficiency is provided.
Sound-absorbing material for electric vehicle
Disclosed is a sound-absorbing material for an electric vehicle including a heat-sealed non-woven fabric, a dot-pattern adhesive layer disposed on the heat-sealed non-woven fabric, and a melt blown non-woven fabric disposed on the dot-pattern adhesive layer.
COMPOSITE FABRIC
Composite fabrics and products containing composite fabrics, such as filters, absorbent articles, wound dressings and bandages, are described herein. The composite fabric comprises a melt-blown thermoplastic elastomer layer; and a thermoplastic elastomer netting layer. The thermoplastic netting layer comprises apertures with a longest dimension of at least about 0.5 mm and a thickness of at least about 0.25 mm. Also described herein is a method of producing a composite fabric comprising a melt-blown thermoplastic elastomer layer and a thermoplastic elastomer netting layer.
CLEANING PRODUCT FOR MOPPING A FLOOR
A cleaning product including: a first sheet; a second sheet joined to the first sheet; an absorbent core between the first sheet and the second sheet, wherein the absorbent core extends along a longitudinal axis between opposing transverse edges that cross the longitudinal axis and longitudinal edges spaced apart from the longitudinal axis and extending between the transverse edges, wherein the cleaning product has a sagittal plane coincident with the longitudinal axis; and an outer strip joined to the first sheet and extending along a strip axis parallel to and offset from the longitudinal axis, wherein the outer strip has a trailing edge inboard of the strip axis and a leading edge outboard of the strip axis, wherein the trailing edge is nearer to the sagittal plane than the longitudinal edge and the leading edge is further from the sagittal plane than the longitudinal edge.
