Method for manufacturing optical laminate
Provided is a production method for an optical laminate, which is excellent in production efficiency even through use of a thin glass. The production method for an optical laminate of the present invention includes: a thin glass production step of producing a thin glass having a thickness of 100 m or less; and a lamination step of laminating an optical film on one surface, or each of both surfaces, of the thin glass, the thin glass production step and the lamination step being performed in an integrated line, the lamination step including bonding the optical film onto the thin glass under a state in which the thin glass is supported.
Window, method for manufacturing the same, and display device including the same
A window is provided to include a glass substrate, an adhesive layer on the glass substrate, a polymer layer between the glass substrate and the adhesive layer, the polymer layer having a surface adjacent to the adhesive layer, the surface being hydrophilic at a first temperature and being hydrophobic at a second temperature higher than the first temperature, and a protective layer on the adhesive layer. Thereby, when the protective layer is damaged, only the protective layer may be replaced without replacing a glass substrate.
INTERLAYER FOR LAMINATED GLASS, AND LAMINATED GLASS
An interlayer film for laminated glass that has a one-layer structure or a two or more layer-structure includes a first layer containing a thermoplastic resin. The first layer may have a glass transition temperature of 10 C. or lower and the inter layer film may have an equivalent stiffness of 2.4 MPa or greater at 25 C.
COATING COMPRISING HYDROPHOBIC SILANE AND ARTICLES
Articles are described comprising a surface layer comprising at least one long hydrocarbon chain silane compound (C8-C36) bonded to a siliceous layer such as diamond-like glass. In an embodiment, the siliceous layer has a porosity of no greater than 10% and a thickness no greater than 1 micron. In another embodiment, the siliceous layer comprises 10-50 atomic percent carbon and the article further comprises an organic polymeric base member or a hardcoat layer. Also described are coating compositions comprising at least one C8-C17 hydrocarbon silane compound and at least one C18-C36 hydrosilane compound.
Projectile Penetration Resistance Assemblies
Unidirectional transparent projectile penetration resistant panels and bidirectional opaque projectile penetration resistant assemblies and systems and methods of forming and mounting the same relative to underlying support structures.
FLUORORESIN FILM AND LAMINATE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HOT PRESSED LAMINATE
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fluororesin film or fluororesin laminate excellent in heat resistance and excellent in interlayer adhesion to an object to be laminated, such as a prepreg, a method for producing a hot pressed laminate using said film or laminate, and a method for producing a printed circuit board. The fluororesin film contains a fluororesin having a melting point of from 260 to 380 C., and has an arithmetic average roughness Ra of at least 3.0 nm when inside of 1 m.sup.2 of at least one surface thereof in the thickness direction is measured by an atomic force microscope. The laminate 1 has a layer A10 containing said fluororesin and a layer B12 made of another substrate, wherein the layer A10 has an arithmetic average roughness Ra of at least 3.0 nm when inside of 1 m.sup.2 of a second surface 10b thereof is measured by an atomic force microscope.
Transparent Projectile Proof Panels, Devices and Methods
The present application for patent is in the field of projectile-proof panels and devices and more specifically in the field of visually transparent projectile-proof panels which are light weight and suitable for goggles, helmets and other devices which benefit from being light weight.
Projectile penetration resistance assemblies
Unidirectional transparent projectile penetration resistant panels and bidirectional opaque projectile penetration resistant assemblies and systems and methods of forming and mounting the same relative to underlying support structures.
Interlayer for laminated glass, and laminated glass
An interlayer film for laminated glass that has a one-layer structure or a two or more layer-structure includes a first layer containing a thermoplastic resin, wherein the first layer has a glass transition temperature of 10 C. or lower, and wherein the interlayer film has an equivalent stiffness of 2.4 MPa or greater at 25 C.
DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING BONDING MEMBER
A display device includes a display panel including a front surface and a second surface which is opposite to the front surface; a front laminated structure attached to the front surface of the display panel; and a rear laminated structure attached to the second surface of the display panel. Each of the front laminated structure and the rear laminated structure includes a bonding member, and an average modulus of the bonding member of the front laminated structure is smaller than an average modulus of the bonding member of the rear laminated structure.
