11622574 · 2023-04-11 ·

A storage apparatus for storage of a smoking product includes a container having a perimeter wall having an upper end with an opening formed therein defining a storage area, and a closed lower end. The storage apparatus also includes a carriage having a closed upper end including a cap, a closed lower end, and a perimeter wall positioned therebetween forming a housing. An opening formed in the housing permits insertion and withdrawal of a smoking product. The carriage is configured to be inserted into the container and withdrawn from the container. The container is closed and opened by a releasable connection between the cap of the carriage and the upper end of the container.

Humidifying Insert and Method for Humidifying Smoking Articles

A humidifying insert for a smoking article packaging has a planar shape, is insertable into a smoking article packaging and includes a humidifying agent and a humidity transmitter, which transfers the humidifying agent from the humidifying insert into the inner volume of the smoking article packaging. A storage compartment, in which the humidifying agent is stored, has a fluidic connection to the humidity transmitter, wherein the fluidic connection is blocked with a breakable barrier. A method for humidifying smoking articles is also provided.

Lighting apparatus for tobacco-based products

An igniter apparatus for igniting a tobacco-based product having a sensitized tip. The igniter apparatus includes a first member and a second member cooperatively defining a chamber having sides supporting an abrasive. The first member and second member are biased at a first position with a bias element and movement of the first member toward the second member compresses the bias element, reduces the size of the chamber, and thereby decreases the distance between the abrasives located at the side of the chamber. Insertion of the tobacco based product in the first position locates the sensitized tip adjacent to the abrasives. Compression of the bias element reduces the size of the chamber such that the sensitized tip contacts the abrasive. Removal of the tobacco-based product from the reduced-in-size chamber ignites the sensitized tip, thereby lighting the tobacco-based product for smoking.

ARRANGEMENT APPLIED IN A STYLIZED LAYER TO A CIGARETTE PACKET WITH NICOTINE- AND HARMFUL-ELEMENT-REDUCING INSERT

The subject matter relates to a stylized layer for a cigarette packet, which is developed to fit the packet. It fits the packet recess, enclosing all the rear part and part of the side of the packet, and is provided with a rear wall with a cutout and an internal compartment housing an infrared insert emitting signals in the long infrared. The long-infrared insert has substances that allow a reduction in the level of nicotine and of various other elements harmful to the user's health, found in cigarettes. The user can stylize the packet, since the layer is able to receive promotional messages and be decorated. It allows the control of the substances entering the body, making it possible for the user, to give up smoking. The longer the time of contact between the layer and the packet, the more the level of nicotine and substances in cigarettes will diminish.

20220304367 · 2022-09-29 ·

Apparatus for rolling pieces of a wrappable and smokable or edible material, such as tobacco, herbs, or cannabis, or foodstuffs, within a wrapper such as a sheet of a paper or seaweed, respectively for smoking or eating. The apparatus comprises a tube (which can comprise integrated outer and inner tubes for ease of manufacture) with a rotatable base, an openable or removable top cap, and a hollow tubular interior. The tube has a longitudinal side opening for receiving the wrapper into said interior of the tube. In operation, the base is rotated and the wrapper is inserted and directed toward said interior where the wrapper wraps around said interior. The wrappable material is thereafter inserted into said tubular interior. Turning the base of the tube causes the wrapper to wrap said material within it. When complete, the wrapped material is removed from the top or bottom of the tube.
