WIRED GLAZING AND A PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF

A wired glazing is disclosed comprising a ply of interlayer material, having a first busbar and an auxiliary busbar and heating wires between them. An adhesive layer is arranged between the first busbar and the ply of interlayer material. An auxiliary adhesive layer is arranged where an edge of the auxiliary busbar extends beyond an edge of the first busbar. The auxiliary adhesive layer bonds the auxiliary busbar to the ply of interlayer material. A corresponding process for manufacturing a wired glazing is disclosed.

The present disclosure relates to a method of providing a laminated vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit (1), wherein the method comprises: providing a lamination assembly (10) comprising a vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit (11) comprising at least two glass sheets (11a, 11b) separated by a plurality of support structures (12) distributed in a gap (13) between the glass sheets (11a, 11b), and a lamination layer (2) arranged between one of the glass sheets (11a, 11b) of the vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit (11) and a further sheet (3). The further sheet (3) may be subjected to a first heating temperature (T1) by means of a first heating arrangement (9a), and the glass sheet (11a) of the vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit (11) facing away from the further sheet (3) may be subjected to a second heating temperature (T2) by means of a second heating arrangement (9b), wherein the first heating temperature (T1) is higher than the second heating temperature (T2). The disclosure additionally relates to a system (100) for providing laminated vacuum insulated glass (VIG) units (1), and use of such a system.

LAMINATED GLASS FOR VEHICLE

There is provided a laminated glass for vehicle including a suspended particle device film excellent in property of switching transmittance of light for a long term by suppressing deterioration over time of the suspended particle device film, in particular, deterioration due to intrusion of moisture at an end portion. A laminated glass for vehicle includes: a pair of glass plates opposing each other; a pair of intermediate bonding layers in contact with opposing surfaces of the pair of glass plates respectively; a suspended particle device film arranged in a predetermined region in a region corresponding to a region except at least a part of band-shaped regions of peripheral edge portions of a main surface of the glass plate, between the pair of intermediate bonding layers; and a barrier layer arranged in the band-shaped regions between the pair of intermediate bonding layers and having predetermined adhesiveness and predetermined moisture permeability.

SPACER FOR INSULATING GLAZING UNITS

A spacer for insulating glazing units is presented. The spacer has a polymeric main body with features that include a first pane contact surface, a second pane contact surface, a first glazing interior surface, a second glazing interior surface, an outer surface, a first hollow chamber, and a second hollow chamber. A groove to accommodate a pane is formed between the first glazing interior surface and the second glazing interior surface, with the first hollow chamber being adjacent the first glazing interior surface and the second hollow chamber being adjacent the second glazing interior surface. Lateral flanks of the groove are formed by walls of the first and second hollow chambers.

When viewed from a region where the second substrate is positioned with respect to the first substrate, the first substrate includes a part arranged to stick out of an edge of the second substrate. The part includes a mounting portion used to mount the glass panel unit onto a vehicle.
