AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE
The present disclosure provides an aerosol delivery device and a cartridge for an aerosol delivery device. The cartridge can comprise a body defining a reservoir and defining an aerosol pathway in fluid communication with an aerosol outlet. The cartridge can further include one or more of an air entry, a splitter configured to split air entering the air entry into a plurality of air passages, an atomizer, and an aerosol forming chamber where air from the plurality of air passages is configured to mix with vapor formed by the heater to form an aerosol. Preferably, the aerosol forming chamber can be in fluid connection with the aerosol pathway. The present disclosure further can include a control device configured to receive, power, and control aerosol formation by the cartridge.
AEROSOL DELIVERY COMPONENT
The present disclosure describes an aerosol delivery component comprising a tank defining a storage chamber for storing a first liquid aerosol precursor and an air bleed channel extending from an outside channel opening outside of the tank to an inside channel opening within the tank. The air bleed channel has a volume between 1% and 20%, e.g. greater than 10% of the volume of the storage chamber. The air bleed channel may comprise an s-bend channel for retaining the first liquid aerosol precursor in an inverted orientation of the component.

The present disclosure describes an aerosol delivery component comprising a tank defining a storage chamber for storing a first liquid aerosol precursor and an air bleed channel extending from an outside channel opening outside of the tank to an inside channel opening within the tank. The air bleed channel has a volume between 1% and 20%, e.g. greater than 10% of the volume of the storage chamber. The air bleed channel may comprise an s-bend channel for retaining the first liquid aerosol precursor in an inverted orientation of the component.
Liquid containers for electronic smoking device
An electronic smoking device includes a liquid supply (34) and an atomizer in a housing. The liquid supply (34) includes at least two container members (34a, 34b) attachable to one another through a connection mechanism to form a liquid supply main body. Each of the container members (34a, 34b) may have an outlet (341a, 341b) sealed by a sealing member (342a, 342b) and a second end which is closed, and an aerosol channel (343a, 343b) formed between the container members.

An electronic smoking device includes a liquid supply (34) and an atomizer in a housing. The liquid supply (34) includes at least two container members (34a, 34b) attachable to one another through a connection mechanism to form a liquid supply main body. A cartridge of an electronic vaping device includes a housing extending in a longitudinal direction. The housing includes a sidewall, a transverse wall at the first end of the sidewall, and an inner tube integrally formed with the housing. The sidewall is generally cylindrical and a first end and a second end. The transverse wall includes at least one outlet therein. The inner tube extends in the longitudinal direction. The inner tube is concentrically positioned with respect to the sidewall. The inner tube communicates with the at least one outlet. The cartridge also includes a reservoir between the sidewall and the inner tube. The reservoir is configured to contain a pre-vapor formulation.
Electronic vaping device
A cartridge of an electronic vaping device includes a housing extending in a longitudinal direction. The housing includes a sidewall, a transverse wall at the first end of the sidewall, and an inner tube integrally formed with the housing. A carrier, apparatus and method for making an aerosol precursor liquid suitable for aerosolized delivery by a device such as an electronic cigarette. A carrier is fluid permeable and comprises a tobacco-derived medium for carrying a functional component, the medium being configured to release the functional component into a fluid to provide an aerosol precursor liquid infused with the functional component. A method for mixing an aerosol precursor liquid for aerosolized delivery of a functional component by an aerosol delivery device comprises bringing the tobacco-derived medium carrying the functional component into contact with fluid and allowing the fluid to saturate the medium to thereby cause the medium to release the functional component into said fluid to form an aerosol precursor liquid infused with the functional component. A receptacle comprising a chamber for the carrier is provided for mixing the aerosol precursor liquid. Example functional components include nicotine and nicotine salts.
