LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a first circuit to output a determination signal indicating that ejecting ink is in failure, a second circuit to output a temperature signal indicating a temperature, a recovery device to perform a recovery operation, and a controller. The controller causes a recovery device to perform a first recovery operation based on a first failure-nozzle data in response to determining that a first temperature and a second temperature satisfy a predetermined condition.
Ink jet recording apparatus
An ink jet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a wiper member, a cleaning liquid supply device, and a controller. The recording head includes an ink ejection surface having an ink ejection port from which ink is ejected. The cleaning liquid supply device includes a cleaning liquid supply surface having a cleaning liquid supply port from which cleaning liquid for wiping the ink ejection surface with the wiper member is supplied, and is located upstream of the ink ejection surface in a wiping direction. The controller controls a cleaning operation including squeezing out the cleaning liquid containing bubbles from the cleaning liquid supply port, and moving the wiper member carrying the cleaning liquid containing bubbles, in the wiping direction from a movement start position to an end position ahead of the ink ejection surface.
INKJET RECORDING DEVICE
An inkjet recording device includes: an endless conveyance belt having plural openings; a recording medium supply unit that supplies a recording medium to the conveyance belt; an opening position detection unit that detects positions of the openings in the conveyance belt; a flushing control unit that causes the recording head to perform flushing on the basis of position detection of the openings; and a recording medium supply control unit that controls the recording medium supply unit in any of plural control modes. The plural control modes include: a first control mode in which the recording medium supply unit is controlled independently from the position detection of the openings by the opening position detection unit; and a second control mode in which the recording medium supply unit is controlled on the basis of the position detection of the openings by the opening position detection unit.
Inkjet recording apparatus
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head having a plurality of nozzles for ejecting ink, an endless conveying belt conveying a recording medium and having a plurality of openings through which ink is passed when the recording head performs flushing, a reading sensor for reading, in a first reading mode, information on openings in the conveying belt and, in a second reading mode, information on the recording medium on the conveying belt, an ejection control portion for controlling ejection of the ink from the recording head based on at least one of the information on the openings and the information on the recording medium, and a reading mode switching control portion for switching the reading mode of the reading sensor between the first and second reading modes.
INK SET AND INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS
An ink set includes an inkjet ink and a cleaning solution. The inkjet ink contains a first aqueous medium, a carbon black, a dispersing resin, a first zwitterionic surfactant having an amidoalkylbetaine structure, and a first sugar alcohol. The carbon black has an oil absorption number of at least 130 mL/100 g and no greater than 165 mL/100 g. A ratio of a content of the dispersing resin to a content of the carbon black is at least 12.0% by mass and no greater than 19.0% by mass. The cleaning solution contains a second aqueous medium, a second zwitterionic surfactant having an amidoalkylbetaine structure, and a second sugar alcohol.
Image forming apparatus including a plurality of gap adjusters
An image forming apparatus includes a conveyer belt that transports sheets, a platen plate that supports the conveyer belt to be slidable, a head holding unit that holds inkjet heads ejecting ink to sheets transported on the conveyer belt and being arrayed in a direction orthogonal to a transport direction of the conveyer belt, and a pair of gap adjustment units that have ends on one side being respectively attached to both ends of a lower surface of the head holding unit and ends on the other side being attached to an upper surface of the platen plate to adjust a gap between the lower surface of the head holding unit and the upper surface of the platen plate.
RECORDING HEAD MAINTENANCE DEVICE AND INK-JET RECORDING APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
A maintenance device includes a wiper, a wiper carriage, a supporting frame, a wiper moving mechanism, and a unit ascending/descending mechanism. The wiper moving mechanism includes a rack supported to the wiper carriage so as to be movable in an up-down direction, a wiper driving motor provided in the supporting frame, a rack driving gear that transmits a driving force of the wiper driving motor to the rack, a sliding member that is rotatably supported to the wiper carriage and comes into contact with the supporting frame, and a gear pitch retention member that maintains constant a positional relationship in the up-down direction between the rack and the rack driving gear during reciprocation of the wiper carriage.
Inkjet recording apparatus
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a wiper member, a cleaning liquid supply device, a cleaning liquid flow path, and a controller. The cleaning liquid flow path includes a vertical tubular member connected to the cleaning liquid supply device and extending upward, and a horizontal tubular member connected to an upper end of the vertical tubular member and extending in a horizontal direction. The controller extrudes a cleaning liquid in at least a part of the cleaning liquid flow path from a cleaning liquid supply port before control of a cleaning operation for wiping an ink ejection surface of the recording head, thereby performing control of an air bubble release operation of the cleaning liquid flow path.
Head cap and inkjet recording apparatus
A head cap covers an inkjet type recording head. The head cap includes a cap housing and a cap cover. The cap housing has a liquid storage space opened upward. The cap cover is provided along an open end of the cap housing. The cap cover has an opening through which the recording head enters and leaves.
