Cartridge, printing device, and printing system
A cartridge includes a liquid containing portion and a liquid supply portion that includes a cartridge side valve mechanism, the cartridge side valve mechanism includes a cartridge side valve seat in which a cartridge side valve hole is formed, a cartridge side valve body that stops the cartridge side valve hole and has a tip surface positioned adjacent to the supply opening, and a cartridge side urging member that urges the cartridge side valve body in a direction toward the cartridge side valve seat, and the cartridge side valve body has a protrusion that protrudes from the tip surface and pushes the device side valve body to open the device side valve body.
CARTRIDGE
A cartridge detachably mounted in a liquid ejecting apparatus including a liquid introduction portion includes: a liquid supply portion having a supply portion flow path; a valve seat having a valve seat insertion port; a valve body upstream of the valve seat; a biasing member biasing the valve body toward the valve seat; a cap located downstream of the valve seat; and a liquid absorbing material in contact with the cap, in which the cap has a first surface facing the valve seat, a second surface facing the first surface and contacting the liquid absorbing material, a cap insertion port formed over the first and second surfaces, into which the liquid introduction portion is inserted, a groove formed in the first surface and facing the valve seat, and a hole formed over the first and second surfaces and coupled to the groove, and liquid absorbing material is in the hole.
RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device is a recording device receiving liquid supplied from a liquid accommodation unit, and includes a recording unit configured to eject the liquid onto a transported medium, a support unit configured to support the medium at a position facing the recording unit, a first side frame and a second side frame that are configured to support one end side and the other end side of the support unit, a coupling frame configured to couple the first side frame and the second side frame, and a holding unit configured to hold the liquid accommodation unit. The coupling frame is located below the support unit, and the holding unit is located between the support unit and the coupling frame and between the first side frame and the second side frame.
CARTRIDGE
A cartridge includes: a liquid accommodating portion; a liquid supply portion having a central axis and a supply portion flow path which communicates with the liquid accommodating portion; and a valve mechanism arranged in supply portion flow path, wherein the valve mechanism has a valve seat having an insertion port into which liquid introduction portion is inserted, a valve body having a closing surface which abuts on the valve seat to close the insertion port, and a biasing member biasing valve body toward the valve seat, the valve mechanism is opened by the valve body being pushed by the liquid introduction portion, and the closing surface has a flat surface portion, and an inclined surface portion formed around the flat surface portion and inclined toward an edge of the closing surface, and at least a part of the inclined surface portion faces the introduction portion flow path in mounted state.
Alignment circuits
In some examples an imaging device can include a fill port to receive a colorant container including an alignment circuit, a controller including a processing resource and memory resource including a non-transitory computer-readable instructions executable by the processing resource to detect a presence of a colorant container in a fill port of an imaging device, responsive to detection of the colorant container in the fill port, detect if the colorant container is properly inserted in the fill port, and cause a fill process to initiate responsive to detection that the colorant container is properly inserted.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a support member having a bearing portion, and includes a locking member including a shaft portion fitted to the bearing portion and a biasing member arranged to bias the support member and the locking member in a first direction. The support member supports a printing member that prints on a printing medium. The locking member is pivotally mounted to the support member. The shaft portion is a pivot center. The locking member fixedly holds the printing member relative to the support member. The first direction forms an angle from 0 degree to smaller than 45 degrees relative to an upper surface of the printing member in a first state in which the printing member is fixedly held relative to the support member by the locking member. Movement of the shaft portion fitted to the bearing portion in the first direction is restricted by the biasing member.
CARTRIDGE AND PRINTING SYSTEM
A cartridge includes a liquid container and an adaptor. The liquid container has a liquid storage containing a liquid to be supplied to a printing apparatus, a liquid supply section configured to supply the liquid contained in the liquid storage to a liquid introduction section, and an adaptor mounting section. The adaptor is mounted on the adaptor mounting section and has a terminal placement section in which a cartridge-side terminal electrically connected to an apparatus-side terminal is disposed and an insertion aperture through which the liquid introduction section passes. The adaptor mounting section is provided with a mounting mechanism for mounting the adaptor, which has a predetermined constant shape.
Unattended reservoir refillings
A method for filling a reservoir of a printing device that includes conducting an unattended refill process of an internal reservoir in response to a detection of a fluid supply unit. In an example, the supply dock fluidically, electrically, and mechanically couples to the fluid supply unit to the printing device.
Board, liquid accommodation container, and printing system
In a board that includes a plurality of contact portions that are arranged to contact corresponding apparatus-side terminals when the board is mounted in a printing apparatus, some contact portions are disposed in a first region, and the remaining contact portions are disposed in a second region. The some contact portions include a first contact portion, a second contact portion, a third contact portion, and a fourth contact portion. The remaining contact portions include a fifth contact portion. The some contact portions are arranged in a first pattern in the first region and the remaining contact portions are arranged in a second pattern in the second region, and the first pattern is asymmetrical to the second pattern with respect to a first virtual line.
HYBRID FLUID CARTRIDGE
A fluid cartridge and a method for eliminating mechanical stresses on an ejection head chip. The fluid cartridge includes a plastic fluid body having a front wall, a rear wall opposite the front wall, left and right side walls attached to the front wall and to the rear wall, a bottom wall attached to the front wall and the rear wall, and to the left and right side walls. A die bond member is attached to the plastic fluid body adjacent to the bottom wall and an ejection head chip is disposed on the die bond member so that the die bond member is between the bottom wall and the ejection head chip.
