A device for discharging liquid is provided. The device includes a liquid discharge head including a curable composition, individual liquid chambers, and a nozzle. The curable composition comprises polymerizable compounds including a bifunctional or higher multifunctional compound accounting for 25% by mass to 45% by mass of an entire amount of the polymerizable compounds and a particle having an average primary particle diameter of 20 nm to 100 nm. The individual liquid chambers have circulation channels in which the curable composition circulates. The nozzle is communicated with the individual liquid chambers, and configured to discharges droplets.

Ink storage unit having variable volume reservoirs

Herein is disclosed an ink storage unit. The ink storage unit may comprise first and second reservoirs, each having a variable internal volume; a transfer system to transfer ink between the first and second reservoirs such that as ink is transferred from the first reservoir to the second reservoir, the internal volume of the first reservoir decreases and the internal volume of the second reservoir increases.

Latch protector

A printing material supply may include a body to contain a printing material, a latch pivotably coupled to the body by a living hinge and a latch protector. The latch protector may include a structure coupled to and projecting from the body so as to contact a packaging surface of a package to inhibit creep of the latch about the living hinge when the printing material supply is contained within the packaging.

SPOUTS WITH ANGLED CLAMP FLANGES FOR A PRINT LIQUID SUPPLY

In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a spout for a print liquid reservoir is described. The spout includes a sleeve having an opening through which print liquid passes. A first flange extends outward from the sleeve to affix the spout to the print liquid reservoir. A second flange extends outward from the sleeve to sit on a wall a container in which the print liquid reservoir is disposed. The spout also includes an angled clamp flange having an angled surface and a straight surface opposite the angled surface. The angled clamp flange is to affix the spout to the container.

Tank

A tank includes: a wall separating a liquid storage chamber, which stores a liquid to be supplied to a liquid consuming part, from an outside; an inlet penetrating the wall; and a liquid outflow part which allows the liquid to flow to the outside of the liquid storage chamber. The wall includes a view wall, which extends upward and downward and allows a user to visually check a liquid level in the liquid storage chamber, and a bottom wall, which defines an inner bottom surface of the liquid storage chamber by being connected to the view wall. The inner bottom surface of the bottom wall includes an inclined part which extends from at least a part of the view wall to incline downward in a direction away from the view wall.

CARTRIDGE AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS

A technique for suppressing a contact failure between a contact portion and an apparatus-side terminal in a cartridge including a case, a liquid supply port, and a contact portion that is disposed at a corner where a front surface and a top surface intersect each other and is in contact with an apparatus-side terminal of a liquid ejecting apparatus, the liquid supply port is disposed at the center of the case in a width direction in which a first side surface and a second side surface oppose each other, and the contact portion is disposed at a position shifted to one side of the first side surface side and the second side surface side in the width direction.

Supply apparatus

A supply apparatus includes: a tank in which a liquid supply section is formed, the liquid supply section having a liquid storage chamber, an inlet for supplying liquid to the liquid storage chamber, and a liquid flow path, the liquid storage chamber being demarcated by first surfaces facing in a first direction, a second surface joining the first surfaces, and a third surface separated from the second surface in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; a holding member holding a part of the tank from one side in the second direction; a coupling member having a coupling section coupled to the liquid supply section of the tank from another side in the second direction to allow flow of the liquid; and a casing supporting at least one of the holding member and the coupling member.

Liquid-consumption apparatus having semipermeable membrane positioned in storage chamber of tank at position avoiding wetting

A liquid consumption device includes a cartridge, a tank and a consumption portion. The cartridge includes a first storage chamber. The tank includes a second storage chamber and a semipermeable membrane. The semipermeable membrane covers the communication port. The semipermeable membrane is configured to block a liquid. The semipermeable membrane is positioned above a level of the liquid stored in the first storage chamber in a state where the level of the liquid stored in the first storage chamber becomes equal to the level of the liquid stored in the second storage chamber because of a flow of the liquid from the first storage chamber to the second storage chamber due to water head difference as a result of the connection of the cartridge to the tank. The first storage chamber of the cartridge to connected to the tank stores therein a maximum amount of liquid.
