A method for restarting a CIJ continuous jet printer after a shutdown of the printer resulting from the full absence of current power, the CIJ continuous jet printer including an ink feed circuit and a removable ink cartridge, the cartridge including a cartridge shell defining at least one volume of the cartridge, an aperture formed in the wall of the cartridge shell, this aperture being hermetically sealed, a pigmented fluid ink and a magnetic stirrer disposed within the at least one volume and movable with respect to the cartridge shell, the volume of the cartridge being in fluid communication with the ink feed circuit, the method including, upon restarting the CIJ continuous jet printer after the shutdown, moving, with respect to the shell, the magnetic agitator, thus stirring the ink in the cartridge.

INK REFILL CONTAINER, INK REFILL SYSTEM, AND INK REFILL ADAPTER

An ink refill container 63 includes a container main body 64 including an ink storage chamber 76, an ink outlet-forming portion 66 provided on an end portion of the container main body forming an ink outlet 65 that allows the ink to flow out from the ink storage chamber, and a valve 74 provided in the ink outlet-forming portion configured to openably seal the ink outlet, in which the ink outlet-forming portion includes a positioning portion 73 on an outer side of the ink outlet-forming portion. in which the positioning portion 73 is closer to the container main body than the valve 74 is to the container main body in a central axis direction of the ink outlet, and in which the positioning portion partially abuts against an ink tank 41-45 when the valve is opened for refilling the ink to the ink tank, to thereby position the valve relative to the ink tank.

Printhead with removable printhead cover

In one example in accordance with the present disclosure a printhead is described. The printhead includes a number of nozzles to deposit an amount of fluid onto a print medium and an ink delivery system to deliver the amount of fluid from an ink tank to the number of nozzles. The printhead also includes an attachment feature to removably couple a removable printhead cover to the printhead. The printhead further includes a removable printhead cover removably coupled to the printhead at the attachment feature.

Liquid consuming apparatus

There is provided a liquid consuming apparatus including: a liquid consuming section; a tank having a liquid storage chamber and an inlet port; a cap; and a casing having a cover movable with respect to the tank between a closed position and an open position. The cover has an inner surface and a projection projected from the inner surface toward the tank. The projection of the cover is provided with a pressing portion facing the outer surface of the cap at a predetermined spacing distance, under a condition that the liquid consuming apparatus is in a normal state in which the cover is in the closed position and that the cap is installed in the inlet port, and the pressing portion abuts firstly against the outer surface, under a condition that the cap is moved in the insertion direction for allowing the cap to be removed from the inlet port.

A printer includes a restrictor that is configured to switch between a restricted state that restricts a scanner unit from pivoting in an opening direction from a closed state in which the scanner unit is closed with respect to the casing, and a free state that allows the scanner unit to pivot in the opening direction from the closed state, and that enters the restricted state when the panel unit is set to a first orientation and enters the free state when the panel unit in the first orientation pivots by a predetermined angle to be in a second orientation.

IC CHIP HOLDER
20200249257 · 2020-08-06 ·

The present disclosure relates to an IC chip holder capable of alleviating an impact if the IC chip holder is dropped or collides with another object. In the IC chip holder, an upper housing body is provided, on a side of electric contacts of an IC chip, with an elastic deformation portion capable of elastically deforming toward the inside of the upper housing body. Thus, since the elastic deformation portion elastically deforms toward the inside of the upper housing body, if the IC chip holder is dropped or collides with another object, the elastic deformation portion bends and the impact is alleviated. Thus, a possibility of the IC chip being damaged is reduced.
