MEMBER INCLUDING PAD ELECTRODE, INK CARTRIDGE, RECORDING APPARATUS
A member mountable to a mounting portion provided with an ink receiving tube and a plurality of electrical connecting portions, the member includes a first portion including an outwardly facing surface and provided with an inserting portion into which the ink receiving tube is capable of being inserted; a second portion opposite from the first portion; and a third portion connecting the first portion and the second portion with each other and provided with a plurality of pad electrodes electrically connectable with the electrical connecting portions. The member is mountable to the mounting portion by being inserted into the mounting portion in an inserting direction with the first portion at a leading side. The pad electrodes are electrically connectable with the electrical connecting portions by being moved in a direction different from the inserting direction.
INK CARTRIDGE
An ink cartridge including a cartridge body, a recess part, a positioning part and a chip disposed in the recess part, where the cartridge body includes an ink accommodating chamber for storing ink, the recess part is disposed on an upper side of the cartridge body and includes a side wall, at least a portion of the side wall is configured to limit a relative position between the ink cartridge and the image forming device in a first direction; the positioning part is disposed above the side wall, and in a second direction, at least a portion of the positioning part is located on a rear end side of the chip and is configured to limit the relative position between the ink cartridge and the image forming device in a third direction.
LIQUID CARTRIDGE
A liquid cartridge capable of being attached to or detached from a predetermined apparatus includes: a container which stores a liquid; a supply port which supplies the predetermined apparatus with the liquid stored in the container; an air communication hole which allows the container to communicate with the atmosphere; and a valve mechanism capable of switching between opening and blocking of the air communication hole. The valve mechanism includes a valve element which can be brought into intimate contact with the air communication hole to block the air communication hole, and a lever which moves, while rotating, between a first position in which the valve element is brought into intimate contact with the air communication hole and a second position in which the valve element is separated from the air communication hole in response to attaching/detaching of the liquid cartridge to/from the predetermined apparatus.
Liquid supplying apparatus
A liquid supplying apparatus, having a reservoir section including a reservoir chamber, and a communication section connecting the reservoir chamber and a hole, is provided. The communication section has a first wall and a second wall, a first buffer space, and a second buffer space. The first buffer space and the second buffer space store the liquid flowing on the first wall and the second wall, respectively, in the liquid supplying apparatus being in the first rotated posture. The hole is located at an upper position with respect to a surface of a predetermined maximum amount of the liquid storable in the reservoir chamber in the liquid supplying apparatus being in a usable posture. The hole is open neither to the first buffer space nor the second buffer space. The hole is located in neither the first wall nor the second wall.
INK REFILL CONTAINER, INK REFILL SYSTEM, AND INK REFILL ADAPTER
An ink refill container includes a container main body including an ink storage chamber, an ink outlet-forming portion provided on an end portion of the container main body forming an ink outlet that allows the ink to flow out from the ink storage chamber, and a valve provided in the ink outlet-forming portion configured to openably seal the ink outlet, in which the ink outlet-forming portion includes a positioning portion on an outer side of the ink outlet-forming portion. in which the positioning portion is closer to the container main body than the valve is to the container main body in a central axis direction of the ink outlet, and in which the positioning portion partially abuts against an ink tank when the valve is opened for refilling the ink to the ink tank, to thereby position the valve relative to the ink tank.
DEVICE, BOARD, LIQUID ACCOMMODATION CONTAINER, AND PRINTING SYSTEM
A device outputs a first low voltage to a first terminal at a first timing in a period in which a voltage input to a second terminal is a high voltage. After outputting the first low voltage, the device outputs a second high voltage to the first terminal at a second timing in a period in which the voltage input to the second terminal is a low voltage. After outputting the second high voltage, the device outputs a second low voltage to the first terminal at a third timing in a period in which the voltage input to the second terminal is a high voltage.
Dummy cartridge accessory device
A device includes a fluid channel connecting a pair of ports and an attachment feature to attach the device at a dummy cartridge; wherein the pair of ports is dimensioned to mate with fluid feed ports of a printer when the device is attached to the dummy cartridge and the dummy cartridge is inserted in the printer.
Aqueous ink, ink cartridge, ink jet recording method and method for producing aqueous ink
To provide an aqueous ink having excellent storage stability and capable of recording an image having excellent abrasion resistance and the like. An aqueous ink for ink jet containing a resin particle, in which the resin particle is formed of a polyester resin having a carboxylic acid group, and an amount of carboxylic acid groups present on particle surfaces of the resin particle is 0.3 times or more to 0.8 times or less in terms of molar ratio with respect to all of the carboxylic acid groups in the polyester resin having the carboxylic acid group.
Fluidic die assemblies with rigid bent substrates
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a fluidic die assembly is described. The fluidic die assembly includes a rigid substrate having a bend therein. A fluidic die is disposed on the rigid substrate. The fluidic die is to eject fluid from a reservoir fluidly coupled to the fluidic die. The fluidic die includes an array of ejection subassemblies. Each ejection subassembly includes an ejection chamber to hold a volume of fluid, an opening, and a fluid actuator to eject a portion of the volume of fluid through the opening. The fluidic die assembly also includes an electrical interface disposed on the rigid substrate to establish an electrical connection between the fluidic die and a controller. The fluidic die and the electrical interface are disposed on a same surface on opposite sides of the bend.
Image-recording device issuing notification concerning quantity of liquid in tank
In an image-recording device, a cartridge has a first chamber and an outlet. A mount body includes a tank, first and second sensors. The tank has an inlet, and a second chamber. The liquid in the first chamber flows into the second chamber via the outlet and the inlet. The first sensor outputs a first signal when a level of the liquid in the second chamber is higher than a first position, and outputs a second signal when the level is lower than the first position. The second sensor outputs a third signal when the level is higher than a second position higher than the first position, and outputs the fourth signal when the level is lower than the second position. A controller controls a notification device to issue a notification if a condition based on the first and second signals is satisfied.
