Printing-fluid cartridge having interfering surface, and set of the printing-fluid cartridges
A printing-fluid cartridge is inserted into a prescribed insertion space of a cartridge-attachment section in an insertion direction crossing a gravitational direction to be attached thereto in an attached posture. The printing-fluid cartridge includes: a housing including a storage chamber, a supply portion having a supply hole, an electrical interface disposed at an upper surface of the housing, and an interfering surface. The interfering surface is positioned upward of the storage chamber and extends in a widthwise direction of the housing. The interfering surface is positioned downward and frontward relative to the electrical interface and is configured to abut against a projection provided at another insertion space different from the prescribed insertion space of the cartridge-attachment section during an insertion of the printing-fluid cartridge into the another insertion space.
Inkjet printer
An inkjet printer includes a printer body and an ink container provided in the printer body. The ink container includes an ink containing portion, a frame portion and a cover portion. A top portion of the ink containing portion includes a port. The cover portion is pivotally connected to the frame portion and pivotable between an opened position, in which the port is exposed, and a closed position, in which the cover portion covers the port, with respect to the frame portion. The cover portion includes a sealing member provided corresponding to the port on an opposing surface of the cover portion. When the cover portion is in the closed position, the sealing member seals the port, and when the cover portion is in the opened position, the sealing member is separated from the port.
Liquid supply apparatus and image recording apparatus
A liquid supply apparatus includes a tank and a cartridge attachable to and detachable from the tank along an attachment and detachment direction crossing a vertical direction. The cartridge includes a first storing chamber configured to store liquid therein. The tank includes a second storing chamber configured to store liquid therein, a liquid channel and an air channel that communicate with the second storing chamber, and an air communication port allowing the second storing chamber to communicate with an outside thereof. When the cartridge is attached to the tank with the first storing chamber of the cartridge communicating with the liquid channel and the air channel of the tank, the first storing chamber has a portion located above the liquid channel and the air channel in the vertical direction, and the tank is located below a secondary-lower surface and faces a secondary-front surface.
Ink jet recording apparatus, ink jet recording method, and ink composition
An ink jet recording apparatus includes an ink composition, an ink encasement in which the ink composition is encased, a recording head that ejects the ink composition, and a carriage configured to move the recording head back and forth. The carriage carries the ink encasement, with the ink encasement integrated with the carriage. The ink encasement has an ink fill port that opens and shuts as a port through which the ink composition is loaded. The ink composition contains a water-soluble dye and a polyhydric alcohol with a normal boiling point of 270° C. or above, with the percentage of the polyhydric alcohol being 26.0% by mass or less of the total amount of the ink composition.
LIQUID CARTRIDGE INCLUDING FIRST AND SECOND PROTRUSIONS ON TOP WALL OF HOUSING
A liquid cartridge includes a housing, a circuit board including an electrode, and a liquid supply portion extending from the housing in a depth direction. The housing includes a top wall, and first and second protrusions protruding upward from the top wall. The first protrusion is positioned rearward but the second protrusion is positioned frontward relative to the circuit board. The first protrusion is higher than an upper edge of a front end of the second protrusion. No part of the liquid cartridge is positioned higher than an imaginary plane in a height direction in a region between a first point on the first protrusion and a second point on the second protrusion (the upper edge of the front end of the second protrusion) in the depth direction. The imaginary plane passes through the first and second points, and extends perpendicularly to the depth direction.
MEMORY AND CARTRIDGE
A memory includes: a first type storage area used in a one-time use period from when a liquid is filled into a cartridge to when consumption of the liquid is completed; and a second type storage area used in an entire use period of the cartridge, which is a set of one-time use periods, in which the first type storage area has a plurality of individual areas in which a different area is used in each one-time use period.
LIQUID PACK AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
There is provided a liquid pack including: a pouch configured to store a liquid therein; and a spout configured to be connectable to a part at one end in a first direction of the pouch, and having a channel in which the liquid passes. The pouch has: a liquid storing chamber configured to store the liquid therein and communicating with the channel of the spout, a sealing part configured to seal surrounding of the liquid storing chamber, and a liquid-non-storing chamber which is positioned to be separated with respect to the spout by the liquid storing chamber and the sealing part, and in which the liquid is not stored.
DRAINAGE CONTAINER AND RECORDING APPARATUS
A drainage container configured to be attached and detached in an attachment/detachment direction to and from an apparatus including a discharge portion to discharge drainage and configured to store the drainage discharged from the discharge portion, includes: a housing that stores the drainage and includes an opening formed in an upper surface of the housing; an accepting portion that accepts the drainage discharged from the discharge portion; and a lid portion configured to open and close the opening, in which the lid portion takes on an open state to open the opening when the drainage container is attached to the apparatus, and the lid portion takes on a closed state to close the opening when the drainage container is detached from the apparatus.
Tank set and liquid-consuming apparatus
A tank set includes: tanks arranged in a predetermined direction, each of the tanks being composed of a casing including: a liquid storage chamber defined by mutually opposing two surfaces and configured to store liquid; an inlet provided to inject the liquid into the liquid storage chamber; and a liquid outflow port through which the liquid flows out from the liquid storage chamber to a liquid-consuming unit. Each of the two surfaces extends in a direction intersecting the predetermined direction, and is at least partially composed of a film.
Printable liquid supply cartridges
A printable liquid supply cartridge includes a printable liquid reservoir extending between a first side and a second side, and between a front end and a rear end. The front end includes a printable liquid outlet to receive a first fluid pen and a gas inlet, above the printable liquid outlet, to receive a second fluid pen. The front end also includes an interface support at the first side, the support having an I2C data interface that includes electrical connection pads exposed on an interior side of the support to face from the first side towards the second side, the electrical connection pads being arranged vertically and to make contact with the printer data interface at least partially inserted into the second portion.
