INK TANK AND INK JET PRINTING APPARATUS
An ink tank that enables to check whether a cover of an ink tank is normally bonded to the ink tank includes a first chamber having a supply port for supplying ink to a printing head that ejects ink, a second chamber having an external air introduction port capable of introducing external air, a partition wall configured to separate the first chamber and the second chamber, a communication path provided in the partition wall and configured to place the first chamber and the second chamber in communication with each other, a first cover member configured to cover an opening of the first chamber without extending over an opening of the second chamber, and a second cover member configured to cover the opening of the second chamber without extending over the opening of the first chamber.
LOGIC CIRCUITRY
A logic circuitry package for a replaceable print apparatus component comprises an interface to communicate with a print apparatus logic circuit, and at least one logic circuit. The logic circuit may be configured to identify, from a command stream received from the print apparatus, parameters including a class parameter, and/or identify, from the command stream, a read request, and output, via the interface, a count value in response to a read request, the count value based on identified received parameters.
SEALED INTERCONNECTS
Examples of a print liquid supply unit are described herein. In some examples, the print liquid supply unit includes an electrical interconnect. In some examples, the electrical interconnect is sealed in a supply joint from an outside of the supply unit to an inside of the supply unit. In some examples, the supply joint is welded to join housing components of the supply unit.

LIQUID CARTRIDGE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A liquid cartridge that can easily ensure stable atmospheric communication can be provided, comprises a liquid storage portion configured to store liquid and a lid provided above the liquid storage portion, configured to cover the liquid storage portion. The lid has at least one inner opening on an inner side surface facing the liquid storage portion, a plurality of outer openings on an outer side surface which is a surface opposite the inner side surface and opens into an atmosphere, and an atmosphere communication channel connecting the at least one inner opening and the plurality of outer openings.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING REFILLED INK CONTAINER
A method for manufacturing a refilled ink container includes: a first step of pouring a cleaning solution into a used ink container including a liquid flowing portion and a liquid accommodating portion through the liquid flowing portion to fill the liquid accommodating portion with the cleaning solution, the liquid flowing portion being configured to supply and discharge liquid; a second step of discharging the cleaning solution in the liquid accommodating portion through the liquid flowing portion together with a residue remaining in the liquid accommodating portion; and a third step of, after the second step, pouring refill ink into the ink container through the liquid flowing portion to fill the liquid accommodating portion with the refill ink.
LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD
A liquid discharge head includes i) a recording-element substrate configured to discharge a liquid, ii) a cuboid-like liquid tank configured to support the recording-element substrate and to store the liquid to be discharged from the recording-element substrate, and iii) an absorbent accommodated in a compressed state in the liquid tank and configured to absorb and hold the liquid. In the liquid discharge head, multiple projections are formed on a bottom of the liquid tank. In addition, as viewed in plan in a direction orthogonal to the bottom, the projections are disposed so as to surround or straddle an injection position at which the liquid is injected into the absorbent using an injection needle.
