CONSUMABLE CHIP AND CONSUMABLE CHIP RESPONSE METHOD, CONSUMABLE CARTRIDGE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Embodiments of this application provide a responding method for a consumable chip and a consumable chip, a consumable cartridge, and a storage medium. The consumable chip stores target data and an indicator used to indicate a type of the target data in the consumable chip, and at least a part of data in the target data is used as the indicator; and the target data is a digital signature or unsigned data. The method includes: receiving an access request of a printing device; selecting at least a part of data in the target data according to the access request; and sending the at least a part of data to the printing device in response to the access request of the printing device.
FILL STATE MONITORIZATION OF A FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM
The present disclosure refers to a method of monitoring a fluid supply system, the system including a collapsible fluid reservoir to contain a supply of fluid and an outer container to enclose the collapsible fluid reservoir and to receive pressurized gas that pressurizes the supply of fluid, the method comprising a controller to: control a gas pressure pump to feed the fluid to or from the fluid reservoir, the gas pressure pump operating in pressurization cycles; monitor a parameter of the pressurization cycles; and determine a fill state of the fluid reservoir as a function of the monitored parameter.
RECORDING APPARATUS, MANAGEMENT SERVER, ORDERING SYSTEM, RECORDING METHOD USING RECORDING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A recording apparatus including an ink tank storing ink supplied from an ink bottle and a head to which ink is supplied from the ink tank includes a determination unit configured to determine a value related to ink consumption in the ink bottle based on a value related to ink consumption in the ink tank, and a transmission unit configured to transmit information indicating the value related to the ink consumption in the ink bottle to a server in a case where the value related to the ink consumption in the ink bottle reaches a predetermined threshold value, and performs processing of ordering of a new ink bottle based on the amount of ink consumed in the ink bottle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRINTING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT
A three-dimensional printing system to print three-dimensional objects and a method of printed are disclosed. The system includes a printing apparatus to print three-dimensional objects and a controller to receive data from a material supply source and to control said printing apparatus.
SYSTEM, PRINTING APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR MANAGING CONSUMABLE MATERIAL WITHOUT MEASURING ACTUAL REMAINING AMOUNT OF CONSUMABLE MATERIAL
A system includes a tank and a print engine. The tank is configured to store a consumable material for printing supplied in units of a predetermined volume from a reservoir. The print engine is configured to perform image formation on a printing medium using the consumable material in the tank. The system is configured to obtain a cumulative consumption amount of the consumable material used for the image formation by the print engine, obtain the predetermined volume, obtain an order count representing how many times the reservoir has been heretofore ordered, obtain a consumption error correction value for correcting an individual difference in consumption characteristics of the print engine, and determine whether to order a new reservoir based on the cumulative consumption amount of the consumable material, the predetermined volume, the order count, and the consumption error correction value.
Adaptive Print Head Maintenance
A method of operating an ink jet printer with an included printer controller, where the ink jet printer prints using a replaceable print head that includes a nozzle plate and an ink reservoir. The printer controller tracks a usage of ink from the ink reservoir and a number of completed nozzle plate wiping operations. The print controller determines, prior to initiating each nozzle plate wiping operation, whether to initiate an inter-layer spitting operation instead of the nozzle plate wiping operation. The printer controller initiates the determined one of the wiping operation and the spitting operation.
Liquid ejecting apparatus and method for controlling liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejection head that ejects a liquid, a supply flow path that supplies the liquid from a liquid containing portion, which is replaceable and contains the liquid, to the liquid ejection head, a liquid feeding portion that is provided in the supply flow path and is configured to suck the liquid from the liquid containing portion and to feed the liquid to the liquid ejection head, and a control unit that controls driving of the liquid feeding portion. The control unit changes driving control of the liquid feeding portion in accordance with a remaining amount of the liquid in the liquid containing portion.
IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD TO PERFORM PROPER CHARGING AFTER CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
An image recording apparatus includes a controller configured to make a transition of an operational mode of the controller between a first mode and a second mode. The first mode represents an operational state where a contract for a service using a first cartridge has been made. The second mode represents an operational state where the contract for the contract for the service has not been made. In the first mode, the controller stores a first tank liquid volume and a second tank liquid volume in a memory. The first tank liquid volume represents, when the first cartridge is attached to an attachment case, an amount of liquid supplied from the first cartridge and stored in a tank. The second tank liquid volume represents, when a second cartridge is attached to the attachment case, an amount of liquid supplied from the second cartridge and stored in the tank.
INK JET SYSTEM
An ink jet system includes a head unit that includes a nozzle discharging ink, a pressure chamber communicating with the nozzle, and a drive element applying pressure fluctuation to the ink in the pressure chamber by supplying a drive pulse, an acquisition portion that acquires output information including one or both of first output information regarding the head unit and second output information regarding the ink used for the head unit, a first coupling portion that is communicably network-coupled to a server, a first output portion that outputs the output information to the server via the first coupling portion, a first input portion to which input information is input from the server via the first coupling portion, and a determination portion that determines a content of image processing for image data based on the input information.
Liquid cartridge
A liquid cartridge includes a chamber configured to store liquid therein, with a liquid outlet configured to supply the liquid from an interior of the chamber to an exterior of the chamber. A detector is positioned in the chamber so as to be rotatable between a released position and a restricted position. The detector has a detection portion and a restriction portion with a first contact surface defining a first length. A restriction member includes a second contact surface that defines a second length greater than the first length. The restriction member is movable straightly between a first position in which the first and second contact surfaces contact one another, a second position in which the first and second contact surfaces do not contact one another, and a third position between the first and second positions in which the first and second contact surfaces contact one another.
