INK REFILL CONTAINER AND INK REFILL SYSTEM
An ink refill container configured to refill an ink tank with ink and an ink refill system. An ink refill container includes a container main body having an ink chamber; an ink outlet forming portion provided at an edge of the container main body including an ink outlet configured to allow ink to flow out from the ink chamber; a valve provided in ink outlet forming portion and configured to seal the ink outlet in an openable and closable manner; and a positioning structure configured to abut on part of the ink tank and position the valve relative to ink tank when valve is opened. The positioning structure has a positioning surface located on an opposite side to a container main body side where the container main body is located, across the valve and extends in a direction intersecting with a center axis of the ink outlet.
INK REFILL CONTAINER, INK REFILL SYSTEM, AND INK REFILL ADAPTER
An ink refill container includes a container main body including an ink storage chamber, an ink outlet-forming portion provided on an end portion of the container main body forming an ink outlet that allows the ink to flow out from the ink storage chamber, and a valve provided in the ink outlet-forming portion configured to openably seal the ink outlet, in which the ink outlet-forming portion includes a positioning portion on an outer side of the ink outlet-forming portion. in which the positioning portion is closer to the container main body than the valve is to the container main body in a central axis direction of the ink outlet, and in which the positioning portion partially abuts against an ink tank when the valve is opened for refilling the ink to the ink tank, to thereby position the valve relative to the ink tank.
Image-recording device issuing notification concerning quantity of liquid in tank
In an image-recording device, a cartridge has a first chamber and an outlet. A mount body includes a tank, first and second sensors. The tank has an inlet, and a second chamber. The liquid in the first chamber flows into the second chamber via the outlet and the inlet. The first sensor outputs a first signal when a level of the liquid in the second chamber is higher than a first position, and outputs a second signal when the level is lower than the first position. The second sensor outputs a third signal when the level is higher than a second position higher than the first position, and outputs the fourth signal when the level is lower than the second position. A controller controls a notification device to issue a notification if a condition based on the first and second signals is satisfied.
Liquid remaining amount detecting mechanism
A liquid remaining amount detecting mechanism includes a rotating member that is disposed in a storage chamber of a tank that stores a liquid, and a sensor. The rotating member is rotatable about a shaft and includes a float that receives buoyancy from the liquid, a detection target portion that is detectable by the sensor, and a through-hole into which the shaft is inserted. The sensor is disposed at a position facing a portion of a locus of the detection target portion when the rotating member is rotated. The liquid remaining amount detecting mechanism further includes a liquid pool portion, at least a portion of which is located between an outer peripheral surface of the shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the through-hole to hold the liquid.
Ejection-material ejection apparatus and imprinting apparatus
An ejection-material ejection apparatus and an imprinting apparatus are provided which are capable of quickly detecting damage of a flexible membrane and avoiding contact between an ejection material and an operating liquid even if part of the flexible membrane is damaged. The flexible membrane includes a first film (1) covering a first storing space (5) for the ejection material, a second film (2) covering a second storing space (6) for the operating liquid, and an inter-film space 4 situated between the first film (1) and the second film (2). A change in state of the inter-film space (4) resulting from communication between at least one of the first storing space (5) and the second storing space (6) and the inter-film space (4) is detected with a liquid sensor (41), a flow speed sensor (77), and a liquid leakage sensor (42).
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus 101 includes a carriage 21 mounted with a liquid storage portion 46 and a recording head 22, the carriage 21 being movable to a visual check position, where liquid in the liquid storage portion 46 is visually checkable through a front surface 43F, and to a recording position, where the recording head 22 ejects the liquid to a medium, and light emitting units 81 and capable of illuminating the inside of the liquid storage portion 46 at least when the carriage 21 is positioned at the visual check position.
SUPPLY UNIT AND LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS
A supply unit in which a liquid container including a coupling portion being detachably mounted includes: a liquid introduction unit coupled to the coupling portion of the liquid container; an urging member that urges the liquid container in an uncoupling direction which is a direction opposite to a coupling direction, the coupling direction being a direction in which the liquid container is coupled to the liquid introduction unit; and an engagement lever having an engaging portion that engages with the liquid container when the liquid container is coupled to the liquid introduction unit, the engagement lever includes an operating portion operated by a user and a pressing portion configured to press the liquid container and is configured to release the engagement of the engaging portion with the liquid container when the operating portion is operated and to press the liquid container in the uncoupling direction by the pressing portion.
DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for display control is provided. The method includes obtaining information of a remaining amount display color displaying a remaining amount of a consumable supply, obtaining the information of a background color in a displaying area displaying the remaining amount of the consumable supply, and changing a display content in the displaying area on the basis of the remaining amount display color and the background color.
Ink cartridge having a swing body adapted to pivotally move smoothly even if ink is consumed
An ink cartridge includes an ink chamber that stores ink. A protruding chamber protrudes upward from the ink chamber in a gravitational direction when the ink cartridge is used. A swing body has a float and a detection portion, and a detection chamber in which the detection portion moves and with which an amount of ink stored in the ink chamber is detected in accordance with a position of the detection portion. In the ink cartridge, a pivot center of the swing body that pivotally moves is disposed inside the protruding chamber.
