Liquid storage container
Provided is a liquid storage container that allows for a simplified structure and a reduction in the size and the cost of a printing apparatus. To this end, the liquid storage container includes: two liquid chambers partitioned from each other; a flow path through which liquid can move between the liquid chambers; a valve configured to open and close the flow path; a refilling port that is configured to be opened and closed and through which a liquid chamber can be refilled with the liquid; and a pressure adjustment mechanism that is provided in a liquid chamber configured not to be refilled with the liquid through the refilling port and that adjusts a pressure in the printing head.
LIQUID CONTAINER, PRINTING DEVICE
The liquid container which can be attached to or detached from a coupler coupled to a liquid ejector for ejecting a liquid and can be installed at a position separated from the liquid ejector, the liquid container includes a liquid accommodation vessel having an accommodation chamber for accommodating the liquid and an injection port for injecting the liquid into the accommodation chamber, and a coupling section having a lead-out section capable of leading out the liquid in the accommodation chamber and couplable to the coupler.
LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS
Provided is a liquid-ejection-apparatus including: a retention-chamber to retain liquid; a turning-member located in the retention-chamber and turns about a shaft-portion according to a height of a liquid-surface of the liquid in the retention-chamber; and a sensor-unit to detect turning of the turning-member. The turning-member includes a float-portion having a lower specific gravity than the liquid in the retention-chamber and a detected portion located above the float-portion and detected by the sensor-unit. A liquid-holding-portion is formed, the liquid-holding-portion extending to the shaft-portion from at least one of a side-surface-portion and a bottom-surface-portion of the float-portion and which can hold the liquid in the retention-chamber. Where the liquid-surface of the liquid in the retention-chamber is at or below a predetermined height, the liquid-holding-portion touches the liquid-surface of the liquid in the retention-chamber to maintain the height of the liquid-surface near the shaft-portion to a height where the shaft-portion is located.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NOTIFICATION METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes: a state detection unit configured to detect states of the liquids contained in the plurality of liquid tanks; a light emission unit attached to an external surface of the information processing apparatus with a cover closed, the cover being opened when the plurality of tanks are operated; and a control unit configured to control the light emission unit, based on a fact that the state of the liquid detected by the state detection unit is a predetermined state in one of the plurality of liquid tanks, so that the light emission unit emits light in a light emission pattern corresponding to the liquid tank that contains the liquid in the predetermined state, out of a plurality of light emission patterns corresponding to the plurality of liquid tanks.
LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS AND DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR LIQUID EJECTION HEAD
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a liquid ejection head that is detachably attached and ejects a liquid, and a control section that is configured to transmit a delivery request for a new liquid ejection head to a server apparatus via a network.
CONTROL METHOD EXECUTED IN INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An object is to manage the remaining amount of liquid of a specific liquid container. A control method executed in an information processing apparatus including an image-capturing unit is characterized by: obtaining a captured image of a liquid container which is acquired by capturing an image using the image-capturing unit; obtaining a first identifier for uniquely identifying the liquid container from the captured image; identifying a remaining amount of liquid in the liquid container, based on the captured image; and transmitting the first identifier and the remaining amount of liquid to an external apparatus.
Printer, cartridge, and medium storing program to be installed in printer
A printer includes: an installation case to which a cartridge having a first memory is installed, a printing unit which performs printing by using a print material supplied from the cartridge, a sensor which outputs a detection value according to an amount of the print material stored in the cartridge, a cartridge interface communicable with the first memory, a second memory, and a controller. The first memory stores cartridge information including: cartridge identification information and residual amount information according to the amount of the print material stored in the cartridge. The controller acquires the cartridge identification information and the residual amount information from the first memory, stores history information in the second memory, and updates the residual amount information of the history information based on information according to the amount of the print material discharged by the printing unit.
Recording device
A recording device includes a housing including a recording mechanism unit configured to perform recording on a target recording medium, and a recording mechanism unit cover configured to rotate, by a rotational shaft along a first side surface of the housing, between an open state of an upper surface of the housing being open and a closed state of the upper surface of the housing being closed. The recording mechanism unit cover is configured to be inside the housing in the closed state and a second side surface and a third side surface of the recording mechanism unit cover that intersect the first side surface of the housing in the closed state are provided with a rib configured to support a second side surface or a third side surface of the housing that intersects the first side surface of the housing.
Liquid cartridge
A liquid cartridge includes a first surface, a second surface spaced apart from the first surface, and a third surface extending between the first surface and the second surface, with a liquid outlet through the first surface. A circuit board is mounted on the third surface. A locking mechanism includes a locking surface that extends above the third surface, and a liquid detection mechanism includes a light access portion. The light access portion is disposed between the circuit board and the locking surface, and the circuit board is disposed between the first surface and the light access portion.
Image forming apparatus and computer-readable storage medium
An image forming apparatus, having a first container with a first compartment, a second container with a second compartment, a recorder, a display, and a controller, is provided. The controller controls the display to display a first screen and a second screen. The first screen contains a first object having a form that reflects an amount of a colorant in the first compartment and a second object having a form that reflects an amount of the colorant in the second compartment. The second screen contains a third object having a form that reflects one of the amount of the colorant in the first compartment, the amount of the colorant in the second compartment, and a total amount of the colorant in the first compartment and the second compartment.
