TANK AND LIQUID CONSUMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A tank includes: a first surface which extends in a first direction, which defines a liquid storage chamber, and which has an inlet for injecting the liquid into the liquid storage chamber; and a pair of second surfaces which extend in a second direction intersecting the first surface and which define the liquid storage chamber, wherein at least a part of each of the second surfaces is composed of a film, and at least one of the pair of second surfaces has a first area which has a first length in the second direction from the first surface and which is composed of a wall having a rigidity higher than that of the film.
TANK AND LIQUID CONSUMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
There is provided a tank including a casing provided with first and second walls; first and second chambers; an atmosphere open port; a first communicating channel; a second communicating channel; a liquid inlet port; a first communicating port; a second communicating port; a liquid inflow port; and a liquid outflow port. Under a condition that the tank is in a posture in which the first wall constructs an upper portion of the tank and that the second wall constructs a lower portion of the tank in a vertical direction and that a maximum amount, of the liquid, storable in the tank in an usable posture of the tank, is stored in the first and second chambers, the first and second communicating ports are located at a position above a liquid surface of the maximum amount of the liquid.
TANK AND LIQUID CONSUMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A tank is configured to be installed in a liquid consuming apparatus having a liquid consuming unit and stores liquid to be supplied to the liquid consuming unit. The tank includes a casing that includes: a liquid storage chamber demarcated by a first surface and a second surface different from the first surface, and configured to store the liquid; an inlet provided to inject the liquid into the liquid storage chamber; and a liquid outflow port through which the liquid flows out from the liquid storage chamber to the liquid consuming unit. The casing includes: a frame; a first film composing at least a part of the first surface; and a second film composing at least a part of the second surface.
TANK AND LIQUID CONSUMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
There is provided a tank including a liquid inlet port, an atmosphere open port, a liquid outflow port, a first liquid chamber having a first atmosphere communication channel, a second liquid chamber being in communication with the first liquid chamber and having a second atmosphere communication channel, and a liquid channel. The liquid inside the liquid channel is movable along with a liquid consumption of a liquid consuming device connected to the tank. With the tank in a usage posture, when the liquid is stored in the first liquid chamber and the second liquid chamber, the liquid level of the liquid stored in the first liquid chamber is formed independently from the liquid level of the liquid stored in the second liquid chamber.
TANK SET AND LIQUID-CONSUMING APPARATUS
A tank set includes: tanks arranged in a predetermined direction, each of the tanks being composed of a casing including: a liquid storage chamber defined by mutually opposing two surfaces and configured to store liquid; an inlet provided to inject the liquid into the liquid storage chamber; and a liquid outflow port through which the liquid flows out from the liquid storage chamber to a liquid-consuming unit. Each of the two surfaces extends in a direction intersecting the predetermined direction, and is at least partially composed of a film.
TANK AND LIQUID CONSUMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
There is provided a tank including: a casing; a liquid chamber including first and second chambers; a communicating channel configured by first, second, and third communicating channels; a liquid inlet port; a first communicating port; a second communicating port; an atmosphere open port; a liquid outflow port; and a gas-liquid separating membrane provided in the third communicating channel and blocking flowing (distribution, circulation) of liquid in the third communicating channel. A first end of the second communicating channel is communicated with the second chamber, and a second end of the second communicating channel is communicated with an end of the first communicating channel. A first end of the third communicating channel is communicated with the second end of the second communicating channel, and a second end of the third communicating channel is communicated with the atmosphere open port.
TANK AND LIQUID CONSUMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
There is provided a tank including: first and second chambers; a liquid inlet port; a first communicating port; a communicating channel; a second communicating port; an atmosphere open port; a gas-liquid separating membrane provided in the communicating channel; and a liquid outflow port. In a state that a first wall constructing a first end of the tank in a usable posture constructs an upper portion of the tank and that a second wall constructing a second end, of the tank in the usable posture, which is away in a horizontal direction from the first end constructs a lower portion of the tank and under a condition that a maximum amount, of the liquid, storable in the tank in the usable posture, is stored in the first and second chambers, the gas-liquid separating membrane is located at a position above the liquid surface of the maximum amount of the liquid.
TANK AND LIQUID CONSUMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
There is provided a tank including a case provided with a pair of lateral walls separated in a first direction with the tank in a usable posture, a first chamber and a second chamber retaining a liquid, a liquid channel rendering communication between the second chamber and the outside of the case, a liquid inlet port for filling the first chamber with the liquid, a first communicating port rendering communication between the first chamber and the second chamber, and a second communicating port rendering communication between the second chamber and the liquid channel. If the first chamber and the second chamber retain the liquid at the maximum amount retainable in the tank in the usable posture, then with the tank in such a rotated posture that one of the pair of lateral walls becomes the upper end of the tank along a vertical direction, the first communicating port is positioned above the level of the liquid at the maximum amount.
INK REFILL CONTAINER, INK REFILL SYSTEM, AND INK REFILL ADAPTER
An ink refill container includes a container main body including an ink storage chamber, an ink outlet-forming portion provided on an end portion of the container main body forming an ink outlet that allows the ink to flow out from the ink storage chamber, and a valve provided in the ink outlet-forming portion configured to openably seal the ink outlet, in which the ink outlet-forming portion includes a positioning portion on an outer side of the ink outlet-forming portion. in which the positioning portion is closer to the container main body than the valve is to the container main body in a central axis direction of the ink outlet, and in which the positioning portion partially abuts against an ink tank when the valve is opened for refilling the ink to the ink tank, to thereby position the valve relative to the ink tank.
