Image recording apparatus
The image recording apparatus has a head, a tank, a case that receives a cartridge, and a controller. When the cartridge is installed in the case of the image recording apparatus, the liquid in the cartridge flows to the tank by a difference between a liquid level in the cartridge and a liquid level in the tank. The controller controls a display to display a first notification indicating an ink cartridge based on receiving a first signal output from a sensor when a liquid level in an ink chamber reached a specific position. The controller, after receiving the first signal from the sensor, counts a count value indicating an amount of discharged liquid from the head. Further, the controller, in response to the count value reaching a first threshold, controls the display to display a second notification.
Image forming apparatus and computer-readable storage medium
An image forming apparatus, having a recorder, a display, an input interface, a memory, and a controller, is provided. The controller is configured to control the recorder to consume colorant to print images on sheets, count a consumption value and a quantity of the sheets consumed, determine an average usage value based on the consumption value and the quantity of the sheets, obtain a filled amount value and determine a first printable quantity, determine a second printable quantity, control the display to display a first screen including a first object indicating the first printable quantity in the display, control the display to display a second screen including a second object indicating the second printable quantity in the display, and control the display to display a screen including a third object, through which one of the first object and the second object to be displayed in the display is selectable.
Recording apparatus, control method, and storage medium
An amount corresponding to the amount of ink stored in a replaceable ink tank is added to the amount of ink stored in a buffer tank and the sum is displayed on a display unit based on acquisition of information indicating that a state in which the replaceable ink tank is not mounted has changed to a state in which the replaceable ink tank is mounted.
Liquid cartridge
A liquid cartridge includes a first surface, a second surface spaced apart from the first surface, and a third surface extending between the first surface and the second surface, with a liquid outlet through the first surface. A circuit board is mounted on the third surface. A locking mechanism includes a locking surface that extends above the third surface, and a liquid detection mechanism includes a light access portion. The light access portion is disposed between the circuit board and the locking surface, and the circuit board is disposed between the first surface and the light access portion.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus, having a first container with a first compartment, a second container with a second compartment, a recorder, a display, and a controller, is provided. The controller controls the display to display a first screen and a second screen. The first screen contains a first object having a form that reflects an amount of a colorant in the first compartment and a second object having a form that reflects an amount of the colorant in the second compartment. The second screen contains a third object having a form that reflects one of the amount of the colorant in the first compartment, the amount of the colorant in the second compartment, and a total amount of the colorant in the first compartment and the second compartment.
INK CARTRIDGE HAVING A SWING BODY ADAPTED TO PIVOTALLY MOVE SMOOTHLY EVEN IF INK IS CONSUMED
An ink cartridge includes an ink chamber that stores ink. A protruding chamber protrudes upward from the ink chamber in a gravitational direction when the ink cartridge is used. A swing body has a float and a detection portion, and a detection chamber in which the detection portion moves and with which an amount of ink stored in the ink chamber is detected in accordance with a position of the detection portion. In the ink cartridge, a pivot center of the swing body that pivotally moves is disposed inside the protruding chamber.
Liquid discharge device
The liquid discharge device starts executing an initial process of discharging the liquid, based on determining that a low level signal is received after receiving a high level signal from an installation sensor and that a low level signal is received after receiving a high level signal from a liquid level sensor.
Liquid discharge device
A liquid discharge device includes a case receiving a cartridge having a first liquid chamber, a tank having a second liquid chamber, a head, a liquid level sensor and a controller configured to: receive a first signal or a second signal when a position of a liquid level in the second liquid chamber is equal to or higher than or lower than a predetermined position; prohibit a liquid discharge through the head in a predetermined case; cancel the prohibition of the liquid discharge based on determining that the cartridge is installed in the case; and prohibit the liquid discharge based on determining that a first elapsed time from a time when determining that the cartridge is installed in the installation case reaches a predetermined time and the second signal is received from the liquid level sensor without receiving the first signal.
Printing apparatus and control method of printing apparatus
A printing apparatus that replenishes ink by exchanging an exchange ink tank includes a code reader for inputting ink information representing an ink type, a float sensor for detecting that the exchange ink tank has changed to an empty state, and a main controller. The main controller determines that the exchange ink tank can be exchanged if the float sensor detects that the exchange ink tank is in the empty state, and if first ink information associated with the exchange ink tank and second ink information associated with an installation location of the exchange ink tank, which are input by the code reader, are compared, and it is determined that the first ink information and the second ink information are compatible.
Liquid supplying system including cartridge and tank having air communication port covered with semipermeable membrane
A liquid supplying system includes a cartridge and a tank connectable to the cartridge. The cartridge includes a first storage chamber and a first air communication port. The tank includes a second storage chamber, an inlet port, an outlet port, a second air communication port, and a semipermeable membrane. Liquid stored in the first storage chamber of the cartridge connected to the tank is introduced into the second storage chamber through the inlet port and discharged through the outlet port. The semipermeable membrane is provided to cover the second air communication port and allows air to pass therethrough. The semipermeable membrane is positioned below the inlet port.
