Liquid discharge apparatus
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a case receiving a cartridge, a tank, a head, and a controller to: when the cartridge is installed in the case, calculate an outflow amount Qc based on heights Hc, Hs and flow path resistances; read the amounts Vc, Vs from a memory; subtract the outflow amount Qc from the read liquid amount Vc to calculate new liquid amount Vc; add the outflow amount Qc to the read liquid amount Vs to calculate new liquid amount Vs; store the calculated liquid amounts Vc, Vs in the memory; after a time period from at the time the calculated liquid amounts Vc, Vs stored elapses, again calculate the outflow amount Qc and the liquid amounts Vc, Vs and store the calculated liquid amounts Vc, Vs in the memory.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRINTING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT
A three-dimensional printing system to print three-dimensional objects and a method of printed are disclosed. The system includes a printing apparatus to print three-dimensional objects and a controller to receive data from a material supply source and to control said printing apparatus.
Inkjet recording apparatus capable of displaying notification screen that prompts user to check residual ink quantity in ink chamber
An inkjet recording apparatus includes: a tank having an ink chamber and formed with an inlet; a recording head; a display configured to display a screen; and a controller configured to control the recording head and the display. The recording head is configured to eject the ink stored in the ink chamber to record an image on a sheet. The controller is configured to: execute a first determination process to determine whether a user is near the inkjet recording apparatus; and execute, after determination in the first determination process that the user is near the inkjet recording apparatus, a notification process to control the display to display a notification screen when the quantity of ink stored in the ink chamber is not less than a residual ink threshold. The notification screen prompts the user to check the quantity of ink stored in the ink chamber.
Printing apparatus, printing method, and storage medium
A printing apparatus includes a circulation pathway that circulates an ink between a pressure chamber of a printing head and the outside thereof. The number of eject of the ink to be ejected from an ejection port of the printing head to a unit printing area is set according to a concentration of the ink in the circulation pathway.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus is configured to activate a first notification in a case where a liquid level of a tank is less than a threshold. In a case where a cartridge is installed after activating the first notification, a controller determines outflow amount Vcs of the liquid flowing into the tank based on the liquid amount of the installed cartridge, and controls a notification device based on the determined outflow amount Vcs.
Inkjet recording apparatus capable of initializing count value indicative of ink quantity in ink chamber based on ink ejection quantity
An inkjet recording apparatus includes: a tank having ink chamber; a recording head; a memory storing a count value updated toward a first threshold value in accordance with ejection of ink; a display; an operation interface; a power switching section switched between a first state and a second state; and a controller executes a first inquiry process to: display a first inquiry screen inquiring whether the ink chamber has been refilled with ink; and receive one of a first operation and a second operation. After receiving the first operation, the controller determines when ink has been supplied. In response to determining that ink has been supplied just before the first inquiry process, the controller sets the count value to a first initial value. In response to determining that ink has been supplied during the second state, the controller sets the count value to a second initial value.
Method for printing a three-dimensional object
A three-dimensional printing system to print three-dimensional objects and a method of printed are disclosed. The system includes a printing apparatus to print three-dimensional objects and a controller to receive data from a material supply source and to control said printing apparatus.
IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS
The image recording apparatus has a head, a tank, a case that receives a cartridge, and a controller. When the cartridge is installed in the case of the image recording apparatus, the liquid in the cartridge flows to the tank by a difference between a liquid level in the cartridge and a liquid level in the tank. The controller controls a display to display a first notification indicating an ink cartridge based on receiving a first signal output from a sensor when a liquid level in an ink chamber reached a specific position. The controller, after receiving the first signal from the sensor, counts a count value indicating an amount of discharged liquid from the head. Further, the controller, in response to the count value reaching a first threshold, controls the display to display a second notification.
Print device and non-transitory computer-readable medium
A processor of a print device performs empty processing in a case where it has determined that it has received, from a remaining ink amount detector, a first signal that indicates that a remaining amount of an ink is not greater than a first prescribed amount. The processor also performs the empty processing in a case where it has not determined that it has received the first signal, but has determined that it has received a second signal. In the empty processing, the processor performs soak cleaning of a nozzle face and stores an empty soak standby flag in an EEPROM. The empty soak standby flag is a flag that prohibits the performing of a printing operation. Therefore, the print device is able to reduce the possibility that a decline in print quality will occur.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus includes an obtainment unit and a prediction unit. The obtainment unit obtains a usage amount of a recording material which is stored in a container removably attached to the image forming apparatus and is used for image formation. The prediction unit predicts a remaining number of days in which the recording material in the container is usable for printing, based on a number of usage days from start of use of the recording material and the obtained usage amount of the recording material. The prediction unit predicts the remaining number of days based on use of the recording material except for use of the recording material in a predetermined job.
