Catcher pin for dynamic management of external loads
A vehicle seating assembly includes a frame rail having a rear catcher pin. A seat frame slidably engages the rear catcher pin at a lateral support. A head of the catcher pin is vertically offset from the seat frame in a static condition. During an impact condition, the seat frame deflects upward and engages the head of the catcher pin to define a dynamic structure condition.
Track assembly
A track assembly includes a track, a support member, and/or a lever. The support member may be connected to the track, and/or the lever may be connected to the support member. The lever may include a rotational axis substantially parallel to the track. The lever may rotate about the rotational axis between a first position and a second position. The lever may limit movement of the support member relative to the track in a first direction, and/or the lever may not limit movement of the support member relative to the track in a second direction. The lever may be configured to contact the track. The track may include a window having a first edge and/or a second edge.
Fastener for swivel-mounted mounting of a seat shell of a vehicle seat and method for swivel-mounted mounting of a seat shell on a vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a seating portion and a seat shell coupled to the seat portion to swivel. The seat shell is coupled to the seating portion by a fastener.
Headrest
The load applied to a connecting member that connects a second horizontal shaft to a base member in a headrest for a vehicle is reduced. The headrest comprises a pillar member including a right and a left vertical shaft extending upward from an upper part of a seat back, a right and a left first horizontal shaft extending forward from upper ends of the respective vertical shafts, each first horizontal shaft including a curved section, and a second horizontal shaft extending laterally between front parts of the first horizontal shafts, a base member including a base vertical portion extending vertically ahead of the vertical shafts, a base upper portion extending rearward from an upper end of the base vertical portion, and a right and a left first hole formed in the base upper portion to have the respective curved sections or the respective vertical shafts passed therethrough, a connecting member pivotably connecting the base upper portion to the second horizontal shaft, and a pad supported by the base member.
TRACK ASSEMBLY
A track assembly includes a track and a support member. The support member may include a slider and/or an electrical connector. The slider may be configured to move longitudinally to move the electrical connector between a first rotational position and/or a second rotational position. In the first position of the electrical connector, the electrical connector may be in electrical contact with the track. In the second position of the electrical connector, the electrical connector may not be in electrical contact with the track. The electrical connector may include a cam, and/or the cam may be configured to contact the slider. Longitudinal movement of the slider may rotate the cam to move the electrical connector between the first rotational position and/or the second rotational position. The slider may include a first ramped portion and/or a second ramped portion that may be configured to contact the slider.
TRACK ASSEMBLY
A track assembly includes a track, a support member, and/or a lever. The support member may be connected to the lever, and/or the lever may include a rotational axis substantially parallel to the track. The lever may rotation about the rotational axis between a first position and/or a second position. The lever may be configured to engage the track in a longitudinal direction when the lever may be in a first position. The lever may be configured to engage the track in a lateral direction when the lever may be in a second position. The lever may be configured to limit longitudinal movement of the support member along the track. The track may include a longitudinal window that may have a first edge and/or a second edge.
TRACK ASSEMBLY
A track assembly includes a track, a support member, a lever, and a slider. The support member may be configured for selective connection with the track. The lever may be connected to the support member, and the slider may be connected to the support member. The lever may be configured to limit movement of the slider and to limit movement of the support member. The slider may be configured to move longitudinally along the support member. The slider may be connected at a top of the support member. The lever may be configured to rotate about an axis that may be parallel to the track. The lever may include a top portion. The lever may include a first position and/or a second position. The slider may be configured to selectively contact the top portion of the lever when in a first position.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A support assembly includes a support member, a side member, and a resilient member. The support member may be configured to engage a track. The resilient member may be connected to the support member, and/or the support member may be connected to the side member. The resilient member may be configured to compensate for different orientations of the side member. The resilient member may be configured to maintain a position of the side member relative to the track. The resilient member may be configured to compensate for different lateral positions of the side member relative to the track. The resilient member may be connected to a lateral side of the support member. The resilient member may be disposed proximate a first end of the support member, and/or a second resilient member may be disposed proximate a second end of the support member.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY WITH CAM ASSEMBLY
A cam assembly includes a pin, a first cam, a second cam, and/or a bearing. The first cam may be connected to the pin, and/or the second cam may be connected to the pin. A bearing may be configured to rotatable support the pin. The second cam may include a first portion and/or a second portion. The first portion of the second cam may be configured to contact a track in a first vertical position of the pin. The second portion of the second cam may be configured to contact said track in a second vertical position of the pin. The first portion may be vertically offset from the second portion. The first position of the pin may correspond to an unloaded state. The second vertical position of the pin may correspond to a loaded state.
