SEAT CONNECTION ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat back. A seat base is coupled to the seat back. A track assembly and the seat base are translatable fore and aft along the track assembly. A rail cartridge slidably engages with the track assembly. An actuation assembly includes a first electrical connector coupled to the rail cartridge and a support member coupled to a second electrical connector. The second electrical connector is operable between engaged and disengaged positions relative to the first electrical connector via a sliding engagement of the support member along opposing grooves of an engagement member. The second electrical connector is actuated via an actuator coupled to the second electrical connector.
SEAT SLIDE DEVICE
A seat slide device includes a reinforcing member attached to a rear end part of an upper rail. The reinforcing member is higher in rigidity than the upper rail. The reinforcing member 7 includes: a reinforcing member body having a U-shaped cross section having a lower opening, and including: a reinforcing member top wall; and a pair of reinforcing member lateral walls; and a pair of reinforcing member bent wall parts each being bent outwardly from a lower end of a corresponding one of the reinforcing member lateral walls in a lateral direction of the reinforcing member, and extending upwardly between a corresponding lower rail outside lateral wall and a corresponding lower rail inside lateral wall.
Flexible rail system for fastening of objects on a floor in a cabin of a vehicle
A rail system for a vehicle includes a floor rail integratable into or onto the floor, first elongate movement rail elements, second elongate movement rail elements, holding devices to hold the movement rail elements on the floor rail, and gliders supportable on the movement rail elements in a gliding manner. The movement rail elements have a rail profile cross-section perpendicular to their main extension axis; the cross-section has an undercut that faces laterally outwards. The movement rail elements each have two opposed end faces, which can be brought into contact with end faces of other movement rail elements, such that at least one continuous movement rail with a constant rail profile cross-section is created. The gliders include a recess corresponding to the rail profile cross-section for gliding support.
Vehicle seat mounting system
A seat mounting system includes a seat frame having a support surface and first and second side surfaces downwardly extending from opposed sides of the support surface. Mounting members are supported on the first and second side surfaces. The mounting members each include an inner layer, an outer layer, and a deformable core portion disposed therebetween. The mounting members each include a mounting aperture extending through the deformable core portion, such that the deformable core portion surrounds the mounting aperture. A base frame includes a receiving aperture disposed through a body portion of the base frame. The base frame is operably coupled to the seat frame by a fastener received through the receiving aperture of the base frame and further received through the mounting aperture of the mounting member.
Seat track mechanism for vehicle
A seat track mechanism for installing beneath a vehicle seat in order to move the vehicle seat in the forward and backward directions includes a monotrack mechanism, to which a monopost structure and a single rail structure are applied. The seat track mechanism includes a structure for hook-engaging lower and upper rails constituting the mono track mechanism by hook guides. The single rail structure applied to the seat track mechanism is capable of not only reducing actuating force required for operation, but also preventing creation of excessive clearance upon stopping.
SEAT CONNECTION ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat base. A carriage is coupled to a lower surface of the seat base and includes a locating protrusion on a bottom surface thereof. The track assembly includes a rail. A rail cartridge is slidably engaged with the rail. The rail cartridge defines a locating hole for receiving the locating protrusion. A first electrical connector is coupled to the rail cartridge. A second electrical connector is coupled to the carriage and operable between engaged and disengaged positions. An actuation member is configured to move the second electrical connector between the engaged and disengaged positions. When the second electrical connector is in the engaged position, an electrical connection is formed between the first and second electrical connectors.
Lightweight c-ring crossmember and bracket assembly for a vehicle
A bracket assembly for coupling a component to a vehicle including a bracket body including a C-ring retainer that is adapted to translatably engage and retain a T-shaped guide rail coupled to one of a crossmember and floor structure of the vehicle, wherein the bracket body defines a hole or includes an attachment structure adapted to receive and retain the component. The bracket body further includes one or more flanges adapted to secure the bracket body to the crossmember or floor structure of the vehicle via bolting and/or welding. Optionally, the bracket body includes: a front attachment arm; a rear attachment arm; one or more intervening structural reinforcement members; a bottom portion coupled to the attachment arms; and a cap structure coupled to the attachment arms opposite the bottom portion; wherein the bottom portion includes the C-ring retainer and the cap structure defines the hole or includes the attachment structure.
MOUNTING A SEAT IN A VEHICLE
An apparatus for mounting a seat in a vehicle having a floor and a side wall comprises a track having a groove disposed on the floor. A stud including a base and a shank, the base being configured to be inserted into the groove, is disposed within the groove. A flange having a lip is disposed on the side wall. At least one lip aperture is formed on the lip. A support, including a base, is disposed on one end of the seat. A base aperture is disposed on the base. A lip fastener is accepted by the at least one lip aperture to connect an end of the seat opposite to the base to the lip on the flange. The base aperture accepts the shank included on the stud.
SEAT TRACK STUD WITH ROLL FREEDOM
Described is a seat track stud for attaching a passenger seat to a seat track having a first stud member, a second stud member, and a pin. The first stud member includes a base portion with at least one flanged edge, a first securing portion extending from the base portion and defining a first securing portion opening; and a second securing portion extending from the base portion at a location opposite the first securing portion and defining a second securing portion opening. The second stud member includes a connecting portion that defines a connecting portion opening and that is sized to fit between the first securing portion and the second securing portion. The pin extends through the first securing portion opening, the connecting portion opening, and the second securing portion opening.
Longitudinal adjuster and vehicle seat
A longitudinal adjuster (10) for a vehicle seat (1) includes at least one rail pair (12), which is formed from a first seat rail (14), for connecting to a seat frame side part (6), and a second seat rail (16), for connecting to a vehicle structure, that slid relative to each other in a longitudinal direction (x) and engage each other and form an inner channel (18).
