ADJUSTABLE SEAT WITH ENTRY TIP SLIDE PLUS PITCH SLIDE
A seat mounted on a slide slidable on a track. The track has comfort and entry zones. Pitch linkage mounts on the slide and supports a seat back. The linkage pivotally connects a seat back to the slide between recline and forward positions. A track latch fixes the slide to the track in a plurality of positions in the comfort zone. The entry zone is used to enter the vehicle. A forward stop blocks the slide from moving from the comfort to the entry zone. The forward stop moves between stop and release positions. The stop position blocks the slide from moving from the comfort to the entry zone. The release position does not block the slide from moving. A forward stop mechanism moves the forward stop into the stop position when the pitch linkage is in the recline position and the slide is in said comfort zone.
Return mechanism including lock lever with locking protrusion
Provided is a sliding device for a vehicle seat. The device includes a fixed rail, a movable rail, a lock portion, an operating lever, a first locking protrusion, and a lock lever. When a first contact surface among side faces of the first locking protrusion and a second contact surface among side faces of a second locking protrusion of the lock lever are in contact with each other, the operating lever is retained in one of a first position or a second position, and when a protruding-direction end of the first locking protrusion and a protruding-direction end of the second locking protrusion are in contact with each other, the operating lever is retained in the other of the first position or the second position.
VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seat including a base, an unlocking device, a release lever, a seat cushion, and a lifter. The unlocking device configured to selectively lock a translatable rail to a fixed rail, the release lever coupled to the base and configured to rotate about a first axis to actuate the unlocking device. The seat cushion coupled to the base and configured to pivot about a second axis between a use position and a non-use position. The lifter configured to rotate about a third axis between a first position, in which the seat cushion is in the non-use position, wherein as the lifter moves from the first position to the second position, the lifter bracket pivots the seat cushion between the use position and the non-use position and engages the release lever to actuate the unlocking device to unlock the translatable rail from the fixed rail.
Vehicle seat attached to floor of vehicle via rail device and coupling device
Provided is a vehicle seat which is attached to a floor of a vehicle via a rail device and a coupling device with a high level of stiffness so as to minimize deformation of the rail device and the coupling device without substantially increasing the weight and the manufacturing cost of the seat. The vehicle seat is provided with an upper engagement portion secured to a member on a side of an upper rail of the rail device, and a lower engagement portion secured to a member on a side of a lower rail of the rail device and including a part opposing a corresponding part of the upper engagement portion from above defining a prescribed gap therebetween. The coupling device is provided laterally spaced from the rail device, and the upper engagement portion and the lower engagement portion are provided substantially directly above the coupling device.
Seat sliding device for vehicle
A seat sliding device for a vehicle includes a sliding load adjusting mechanism. The sliding load adjusting mechanism includes a support member, which is fixed to a first rail that is one of a lower rail and an upper rail, and a pressing member, which is movably supported by the support member. The pressing member changes a frictional force that is generated between the pressing member and a second rail, which is the other one of the lower rail and the upper rail, in accordance with a pressing force applied to the second rail. The pressing force changes in accordance with the position of the pressing member in relation to the support member. As the upper rail moves in a first direction, the pressing member moves toward a side on which the pressing force is reduced.
Vehicle slide rail device
A vehicle slide rail device including a memory member defining a default seat position wherein, before operation of a release operation mechanism, the release operation mechanism is inserted into a concave portion formed in the memory member and recessed in a direction substantially perpendicular to a sliding direction and the release operation mechanism is in an engagement state of being engaged integrally with the memory member in the sliding direction, wherein, when the release operation mechanism is operated, the release operation mechanism pushes the concave portion in a direction substantially perpendicular to the sliding direction and removes the memory member from a state of defining the default seat position, and wherein, when a memory operation mechanism is operated, the memory operation mechanism removes the release operation mechanism from an inside of the concave portion and releases the release operation mechanism from the engagement state with the memory member.
Seat device
A seat moves along a rail in the front-back direction of a vehicle. A juxtaposed member (receiving member) extending in the front-back direction of the vehicle is joined to a floor or the seat so as to be located next to the rail. A detected portion is provided either to the juxtaposed member or to a member which is located on the floor side or the seat side which moves relative to the floor or the seat to which the juxtaposed member is coupled. A sensor that detects the detected portion is provided either to the juxtaposed member or to the member located on the floor side or the seat side. As a result of this configuration, the installation position of the sensor is less spatially restricted than the case in which the sensor is provided to the rail.
Release latch incorporated into a rear wall of a vehicle such as a truck cab
The present invention discloses a latch for securing a seatback to an elevated rear wall of a vehicle passenger compartment, and in which a striker having a crosswise engaging portion extends rearwardly from the seatback. The latch includes a fixed sector adapted to being mounted to the rear wall. A hook is pivotally supported to the sector, with a slide plate sandwiching the hook between the slide plate and the fixed sector such that upward displacement of the slide plate causes forward pivoting of the hook. Rearward pressing of the seatback and striker causes rearward rotation of the hook to receive the striker, the slide plate being upwardly displaced to cause forward rotation of the hook to disengage the striker.
Vehicle Seat
