The rotation plate is rotatably supported on the rotation shaft. The seat is attached to the rotation plate. The rear upper shaft connects the rear link to the supporting plate. The rotation lock unit is provided on the rear upper shaft.

An upper portion which is disposed above the attachment portion of the reclining mechanism and a lower portion which is disposed below the attachment portion thereof are connected to each other at the rear ends thereof and are separated from each other at the front ends thereof.

A seat support frame of a motor vehicle seat includes a seat frame which has left-hand and right-hand side parts, and a transverse tube connecting the two side parts to one another at the front. The seat support frame has a seat shell supported by the seat frame and composed of two sheet metal parts firmly connected to and arranged at a distance from one another, specifically upper and lower shells. The upper and lower shells form a channel running parallel to the transverse tube. The seat support frame includes an adjusting device which, on one side, is connected only, at a front region of one of the side parts and, on the other side, is connected in an articulated manner to the end region of the channel adjacent to the side part, and allows the distance of the seat shell relative to the transverse tube to be adjusted.

The lever-side clutch section includes a side plate to which the operation lever is fixed and an outer ring member that fits with the side plate. The brake-side clutch section includes a cover whose rotation is restricted. An angle regulating part configured to regulate a rotation angle of the operation lever is disposed radially inside of outer peripheral edges of the outer ring member and the cover and includes a claw of the outer ring member and a through hole of the cover.

VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat, such as for a motor vehicle seat, adapted to be transferable from at least one use position, which is suitable for transporting a passenger, into an easy entry position as a non-use position, and back, may have a seat cushion, a backrest, and a seat frame. The seat cushion and the backrest may be coupled to the seat frame, a base and a kinematics for the articulated connection of the seat frame to the base. The kinematics may have at least one link articulated connecting the seat frame to the base. The at least one link may be lockable by a disc shaped fitting or the at least one link may be lockable with the seat frame by a locking device.

A rotary plate provided to a lifter device is equipped with a wall which presses engaging ends of a pole toward the direction that brings said ends into abutment with a tooth surface of an inner tooth. A to-be-pressed surface of the pole has a shape that lies along a circular arc centered at an outline shape center point which is at a location shifted from a fluctuation center of the pole. The outline shape center point is on a normal line of the to-be-pressed surface at a contact point, and is situated on a side opposite to the direction in which the pole is fluctuated to be locked with respect to a straight line connecting between the contact point and the fluctuation center.
