Longitudinal adjustment mechanism for a seat, mechanism for adjusting the inclination of a seat portion, vehicle seat

An adjustment unit for a vehicle seat in a vehicle is disclosed. Said adjustment unit comprises a longitudinal adjustment mechanism for adjusting the vehicle seat along a direction of travel of the vehicle, said longitudinal adjustment mechanism comprising a first rocker that is mounted in such a way as to be rotatable about a transverse direction extending perpendicular to the direction of travel of the vehicle.

Vehicle with seating assembly

A vehicle is disclosed with a seating assembly which is capable of prompting an occupant to take an appropriate riding posture depending on the behavior of the vehicle body. A motorcycle includes tilting mechanisms for tilting seating surfaces of a front seat (rider seating part) and a rear seat (passenger seating part) and an ECU carries out a control process for tilting the seating surfaces to lift rear portions of the seats upwardly in response to an action to accelerate the motorcycle and a control process for tilting the seating surfaces to lift front portions of the seats upwardly in response to an action to decelerate the motorcycle.

Second row vehicle seat

A seat assembly for a vehicle including a base presenting a pair of opposing angular surfaces spaced from one another and a cushion slidably engaging the opposing angular surfaces for tilting relative to the base into alternate orientations. The seat also includes a resistance element for maintaining the cushion in a desired orientation relative to the base. The cushion includes a sliding element which is movable between a disengaged position for adjusting the orientation of the cushion within predetermined limits established by the angular surfaces and an engaged position where the sliding element interfaces with the resistance element to restrict movement of the cushion relative to the base.

AIRCRAFT SEAT WITH OCCUPANT WEIGHT SENSING MECHANISM TO ADJUST TILT-RECLINE FORCE

In a preferred embodiment, a tilt-recline force adjusting apparatus for an aircraft passenger seat configured for a tilt-recline positioning includes a first spring having a first axis to urge a seat back into an upright position, the first spring arranged to compress as the seat is manually reclined, a helper spring having a second axis parallel to the first axis, the helper spring arranged to assist or counteract the first spring, an adjustment mechanism coupled to the helper spring to increase or decrease a force exerted by the helper spring to assist or counteract the first spring, and a weight sensing mechanism coupled to the adjustment mechanism and operable to actuate the adjustment mechanism in direct proportion to a weight of a seated passenger, whereby the force exerted on the aircraft seat to urge the seat back into an upright position is greater for a heavier seated passenger

Seat cushion extension device of fold and dive seat

The present disclosure provides a seat cushion extension device for a fold-and-dive seat. The seat cushion extension device may include a pair of seat cushion side frames arranged at a predetermined interval, a seatback frame rotatably connected to the pair of seat cushion side frames and having a guide pin formed on an outer surface thereof, a seat cushion frame, a pair of links rotatably connected between the pair of seat cushion side frames and a front end of the seat cushion frame, and a pair of extension frames. Each of the pair of extension frames may have a front end connected to the seat cushion frame, and a rear end formed with a guide hole, into which a guide pin may be inserted. The seat cushion extension device may facilitate a forward extension of a seat cushion regardless of a position of a seatback of the fold-and-dive seat.

Seat adjustment apparatus for mobility

Disclosed is a seat adjustment apparatus for a mobility vehicle, in which a seat cushion slides in a forward/rearward direction while moving upward or downward when the seat cushion is tilted, thereby allowing an occupant to take a stable posture. In one aspect, the seat apparatus comprises 1) a fixing bracket fixed to a floor surface; 2) a setting bracket disposed above the fixing bracket and connected to a back frame so that the back frame is rotatable; 3) a guide unit disposed at a front end of the fixing bracket and a front end of the setting bracket; 4) a guide part disposed at a rear end of the fixing bracket and a rear end of the setting bracket; and 5) a drive unit connected to the guide unit.
