ERGONOMIC SEAT TILTING BETWEEN TWO CONFIGURATIONS

A chair includes a seat and a back rest, both of which pivot about respective axes between first and second positions thereof about parallel axes of rotation. The seat's second position is inclined relative to a first seat plane defined by the seat's first position. The backrest's second position is essentially parallel to the first seat plane such that the chair switches between seating and support configurations. In the seating configuration, the seat and backrest are their respective first positions such that the chair accommodates a seated person. In the support configuration, the seat and backrest are in their respective second positions such that the chair accommodates a person's chest on the backrest's rear face.

Seat for Vehicle

When an occupant stretches his/her lower extremity in a state where putting his/her foot on a foot resting portion during autonomous driving of a vehicle, a seat is controlled so as to move rearward and obliquely upward along a control portion. Concurrently, a seat cushion is controlled so that its front portion moves downward while being supported by a link member and then its inclination angle is made gentle. When at least one of a position and an angle of at least one of the seat cushion and the seatback is controlled, an upper end of the seat is located on an inclined straight line extending downward on a forward side of the upper end.

MONOPOST FOR FREE-STANDING VEHICLE SEAT

A monopost for a free-standing seat of a vehicle comprises: an inner subassembly of first clamshell components attached to each other; an outer subassembly of second clamshell components attached to each other around the inner subassembly, the outer subassembly forming a wing portion at one end; and a wing clamshell attached to the first clamshell components and to the wing portion.

Seat device of vehicle

A slide rail is configured to have a specified front-upward slant angle within a range of 9-11 degrees relative to a floor panel such that a seat slides longitudinally with the specified front-upward slant angle and adjustably over a specified longitudinal range along the slide rail, a thigh support portion is provided at a front end portion of a seat cushion so as to swing vertically around its rear portion with an adjustable swing-angle range of 4 degrees or greater, and a seat device of a vehicle does not comprise any other lift mechanism for adjusting a height of the seat than the slide rail having the specified front-upward slant angle.

Movable vehicle seat with monopost

A freestanding vehicle seat assembly includes: a seat having a seat portion connected to a back portion; a monopost attached at a bottom of the seat portion such that the seat rests only on the monopost; and a track assembly attached at a bottom of the monopost, the track assembly configured for providing fore and aft movement of the freestanding vehicle seat assembly. The freestanding vehicle seat assembly can have a pitch mechanism on the monopost configured for pitching at least part of the seat forward and rearward.

EASY CHAIR AND VEHICLE SEAT

Disclosed is one example of an easy chair capable of inhibiting links from being deformed and damaged when a large load acts on a cushion frame. A posture-changing mechanism of the easy chair includes a first link, a second link, and a male threaded rod, and these form a truss structure. Thus, in principle, no large bending moment is generated in the first link, the second link, and the male threaded rod. This posture-changing mechanism makes it possible to inhibit the first link, the second link, and the male threaded rod from being deformed and damaged by a bending moment when a large load acts on the cushion frame.

Vehicle seat with a lumbar support

Vehicle seat (1), with a seat part (2) and a backrest (3), which comprises a lumbar support (7), wherein the lumbar support (7) has a lumbar apex (7.1) towards the back of a seat occupant and tapers from there and that the lumbar support comprises a suspension 9, 11, 12) that results in load distribution with a primery load uptake (8. 1) at the lumbar apex (7.1).

Longitudinal adjuster for a vehicle seat

Longitudinal, adjuster (27) having an outer and an Inner rail (50, 51), characterized in that the outer rail (50) has a structural element (53) which absorbs vertical forces and has a flexible element which biases a rolling body (52) against the inner rail (51).
