MOSQUITO CONTROL AEROSOL AND MOSQUITO CONTROL METHOD

Provided are a mosquito control aerosol which can produce a good control effect on mosquitoes over a long period of time while reducing influence on humans and pets, and a mosquito control method using the mosquito control aerosol. The mosquito control aerosol includes: a pressure-resistant container equipped with a metering spray valve, that contains a liquid aerosol-forming material including an insect pest control component and an organic solvent, and a propellant; and a spray button having a spray outlet connected to the metering spray valve. The volume of the liquid aerosol-forming material sprayed when the spray button is pressed down once is adjusted to 0.1 to 0.4 mL, and the spray force thereof as measured at a distance of 20 cm from the spray outlet at 25 C. is adjusted to 0.3 to 10.0 g.Math.f.

A system for repelling mosquitoes near a spa (referred to herein as a Zika Mist System or ZMS) includes a string of misting devices interconnected in fluid communications for mounting on a spa tub structure in order to produce an insect-repelling, spa-water mist over the spa from chemically treated spa water taken from the spa. The ZMS includes a misting pump for delivering pressurized spa water from an outlet on the misting pump to the string of misting devices via an outlet line component of the ZMS; it also includes an input line for coupling an inlet of the misting pump in fluid communications with a water-holding portion of the spa (e.g., preferably doing so via a drain assembly on the spa). A mosquito-repelling spa includes a spa tub structure on which is mounted such a ZMS.

The heater housing has a heat exchanger operatively configured to control the temperature of the liquid chemical exiting the fogging machine through a spray tube, and the control board generates control signals by receiving Wi-Fi signals.

The present disclosure relates a method of controlling an arthropod pest including providing an aerosol arthropod pest control product having an aerosol dispenser assembly having a reservoir, a valve assembly in fluid communication with the reservoir, an actuator body, and a nozzle having a swirl chamber in fluid communication with a plurality of inlet ports and an outlet orifice and dispensing the arthropod pest control composition from the aerosol dispenser assembly through the nozzle. The arthropod pest control composition includes from about 0.1 wt % to about 40 wt % of a monohydric alcohol, from about 0.1 wt % to about 30 wt % of one or more active ingredients. The dispensed aerosol arthropod pest control product has a flow rate of from about 1.80 g/s to about 3.00 g/s and a Dv50 particle size value of from about 100 m to about 200 m.
