In a rear seat having a configuration which, in the state that a seat cushion is folded forward with a seat back flattened on the seat cushion side, makes an upward back surface of the seat back become almost the same height with a floor surface of a cargo room, to avoid giving a restriction and hurt in amenity to a passenger seated on the seat cushion in the space on which feet of are put, the present invention provides a vehicle seat to which parallel link mechanism portions are equipped that connect the seat cushion to a floor surface under the seat cushion of the vehicle, and a mechanism is provided to fold the seat cushion forward with the posture of the seat back held by the parallel link mechanisms in the state that the seat back is flattened to the seat cushion side.

AUXILIARY SEAT STORAGE STRUCTURE

A structure of an auxiliary seat disposed in a second row in a vehicle is provided. The auxiliary seat storage structure includes an auxiliary seat that is disposed between a pair of exterior seats and has a seat back rotatably coupled to a seat cushion by a recliner and a rail that is installed in a vehicle width direction. The auxiliary seat is configured to slide into an internal cavity at a lower end of the exterior seat. The auxiliary seat slides along the rail when the auxiliary seat is folded and simultaneously adjusted downward and is stored in a lower cavity of the exterior seat. A passageway cavity is maximized, the number of operating steps are minimized and the auxiliary seat are stored regardless of whether an occupant is seated on the exterior seat.

SECOND ROW PRIORITY SEATING FOR VEHICLES

Aspects of the disclosure relate to vehicles capable of autonomous driving. These vehicles may include seats for accommodating different numbers of passengers. In some cases, the seats may be reconfigurable. For instance, a vehicle may include a first row of seating having a first, passenger use configuration. The first row may allow a passenger to sit in a seat of the first row of seating and access user input controls for the vehicle. The first row of seating may also have a second, folded configuration where the first row is in a folded configuration and no longer usable for passenger seating. The vehicle may also have a second row of seating. When the first row of seating is in the second, folded configuration, the second row of seating may still be usable for seating and may include additional legroom for the passenger as compared to when the first row of seating is in the first passenger use configuration.

VEHICLE SEAT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM

A seat assembly includes a seat frame having a first end connected to a vehicle and a second end cooperating with a latching system having a latching mechanism to releasably secure to at least one receiving portion. A seat structure adjustably positionable on the seat frame includes a seat bottom and a seat back pivotally connected to the seat structure. A seat adjustment system includes a first guide member proximate the latching mechanism having a first channel portion and a second guide member proximate the seat structure having a second channel portion configured to align with the first channel portion. A coupling element operatively connected to a first actuator includes an elongate projection that is translated from a locked position in the first channel portion to an unlocked position in the second channel portion to release the latching mechanism from the at least one receiving portion.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat compactly stowed in a stowed state while suppressing contact between pivot links. A stowable seat includes an inner link, an outer link, and a guide link coupled to a seat cushion of the seat, the links are pivoted with respect to a vehicle body floor in order to move the seat cushion to a stowed position. The inner link, the outer link, and the guide link are arranged at positions different from each other in the width direction of the seat so that contact between the pivot links is suppressed. Further, the guide link is arranged at a position different from the inner link and the outer link in the front to back direction of the seat so that the seat can be compactly stowed.

Vehicle seat with inclinable seatback

A vehicle seat comprising a seatback pivoting relative to a frame around the first transverse axis, a seat cushion pivoting relative to the seatback around a second transverse axis, a link pivoting relative to the seat cushion around a third transverse axis, wherein the link is further pivoting relative to the frame around a fourth transverse axis, a mechanism for releasing the angular position of the seatback relative to the frame around the first transverse axis, and an actuator, attached under the seat cushion. The angular position of the seatback relative to the frame released, the actuator commands a movement of the link relative to the seat cushion and consequently of the seatback relative to the seat cushion, from a comfort position of the seat to a flat floor position.

Kayak seat

A kayak seat is provided that includes a seat base, and a seat pan supported by, and attached to, the seat base. The seat pan is made from a flexible material such that the seat pan is configured to be adjustable. The seat pan is configured to support the pelvis and thighs of a user seated in the seat pan. A seat back is attached to the seat base. A first adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust a position of the seat pan from a single point of adjustment. A second adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust a position of the seat back.

Flipping conversion seat and lean post

A conversion seat for a marine vessel that converts from a lean post configuration to a seat configuration. In a stowed position, the seat is stored vertically exposing a cushion that can be used as a lean post. When a positive lock is released the seat is able to rotate, in some embodiments with an assist from a gas strut, two-hundred and seventy (270) degrees until the seat lands on a horizontal surface. When released, a backrest opens to a desired angle providing a comfortable seat or sun pad. To stow the seat for use as a lean post, the backrest is folded back down and then the seat is able to rotate back through the two-hundred and seventy (270) degrees to its vertical stowed position.
