An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat in which a vacant space produced after tipping up a seat cushion can be effectively used as a luggage storage space. The vehicle seat includes: a support leg (6A, 6B, 6C) to support weight related to a seat cushion (2); a leg holding member (8) to hold a lower part (6C) of the support leg (6A, 6B, 6C); and a slide mechanism (18A, 18B) to move the seat cushion (2) and a seat back (3) in a front/back direction. The seat has a tip-up function to rotate the seat cushion (2) so that its front part is in a higher position than its rear part and the seating surface of the seat cushion (2) and the front surface of the seat back (3) face each other, in which the leg holding member (8) is located at a part (18A) of the slide mechanism (18A, 18B) which moves along with the seat cushion (2) and the seat back (3).

The seat sub-assembly comprises a back member having a substantially flat first side and second side with a seat member coupled to the second side. The seat sub-assembly is rotatable between a sleeping configuration and a seating configuration. In the sleeping configuration, the substantially flat first side of the back member and the substantially flat base member form a substantially flat horizontal sleeping surface for at least one person. In the seating configuration, the seat member is deployed as a seating region for at least one person.

The rear seat includes a seat cushion which is fixed to the floor portion and a seatback which is capable of falling down, in a vehicle longitudinal direction, relative to the seat cushion. The seatback is supported at a part (a support bracket) of the ring-shaped structural portion which corresponds to the side-face portion via a pivot so as to fall down.

A vehicular seat is provided with which compactness can be achieved in a housed state where a seat main body is housed. A vehicular seat is a seat configured to be housed in a housing recess formed in a vehicle body floor. The vehicular seat includes: right and left rail devices fixed on the vehicle body floor and supporting a seat main body to be movable in the front to back direction; and a reclining device pivotably connecting the seat main body to a support base constructed on the right and left rail devices. The reclining device is arranged at a height position overlapping upper rails in the up and down direction, and is arranged outside the upper rails in a seat width direction.

A cable actuator system includes an actuating cable for connection to an actuator and to an actuatable device and a bypass assembly connected to the actuating cable. The bypass assembly includes a bypass input with a first input position and with a second input position. With the bypass input in the first input position the bypass assembly acts on the cable such that an actuating movement of the cable by the actuator moves the cable an actuating distance at the actuatable device to actuate the actuatable device. With the bypass input in the second input position the bypass assembly acts on the cable such that the actuating movement of the cable by the actuator does not move the cable the actuating distance at the actuatable device. A vehicle seat, with a seat base, a backrest, an actuator, and a vehicle seat actuatable device, also includes the cable actuator system.
