Seat and utility vehicle
A seat for a utility vehicle, in particular for a military utility vehicle, comprising a seat base, a seat element comprising a sitting surface and a first stepping surface, a first pivoting mechanism for pivoting the seat element such that the seat element is pivotable from a seat position, in which the first stepping surface is facing the seat base, into a first step position, in which the first stepping surface is facing away from the seat base, a backrest comprising a backrest sitting surface and a second stepping surface, and a second pivoting mechanism for pivoting the backrest such that the backrest is pivotable from a seat position, in which the backrest sitting surface is positioned upright relative to the seat base, into a second step position, in which the second stepping surface is arranged parallel to the first stepping surface.
SEAT ADJUSTER
A seat adjuster includes an adjustable slider, a cam lever, and/or a pivot arm. The cam lever may be rotatably connected to the slider at or about a cam-slider axis such that the cam lever pivots about the cam-slider axis when the slider is adjusted. The pivot arm may have a first arm end and a second arm end disposed opposite one another. The first arm end may be rotatably connected to the cam lever at or about a cam-arm axis such that, when the slider is adjusted, (i) the cam lever pivots about the cam-arm axis and (ii) the pivot arm pivots about an arm-housing axis extending through the second arm end.
CENTER HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE REAR SEAT
The present disclosure provides a center hinge assembly for a vehicle rear seat, which includes a lower bracket having a first seating groove formed at one end thereof so that a first shaft or a second shaft is inserted into the first seating groove, and a first locking groove formed at the other end thereof, deeper than the first seating groove, so that a bush fastened to the first or second shaft is inserted and locked into the first locking groove, and an upper bracket having a second seating groove formed at one end thereof so that the first or second shaft is inserted into the second seating groove, and a second locking groove formed at the other end thereof, deeper than the second seating groove, so that the bush is inserted and locked into the second locking groove.
Back/headrest for a vehicle
A device to support the back and/or head of a wheelchair user in a vehicle, the device comprising the steps of: a support arrangement; and a back/headrest which presents a substantially planar support surface, the back/headrest being moveable with respect to the support arrangement between a stowed position, in which the back/headrest is relatively close to the support arrangement, and a deployed position, in which the back/headrest is supported at a second, greater distance from the support arrangement, wherein when the back/headrest is in the stowed position the support surface lies in a first plane, and when the back/headrest moves to the deployed position, the support surface thereof is in the first plane, or in a further plane which is substantially parallel with the first plane.
SEAT ASSEMBLY HAVING A PIVOTABLE SEAT BACK
A seat assembly having a seat back and a mounting bracket assembly. The seat back may have a pivot pin that may be rotatable about an axis. The mounting bracket assembly may be adapted to be mounted to a vehicle and may have a hole that may receive a bushing. The bushing may receive the pivot pin.
OUTER HINGE PRESS FIT INTERFACE FOR BACKREST WITH TRUNK RELEASE
A hinge assembly for integration into a seat release system includes a pivot stud having a shaft section and a first head section and an outer hinge component attached to the first head section of the pivot stud. The shaft section is adapted to be connected to a spring element of the pivot stud. The first head section has a rounded star-shaped cross-section with three or more protrusions converging in a direction outward from a center of the rounded star-shaped cross-section with at least one flat-ended protrusion. The outer hinge component defines a top wall and a sidewall. The top wall is adapted to be attached to a vehicle body structural component. Characteristically, the sidewall defines an opening into which the first head section of the pivot stud is positioned. A vehicle seat release system incorporating the hinge assembly is also provided.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a seatback and capable of assuming a use state in which a user can be seated thereon and a stowed state in which the seatback has pivoted forward from the use state to overlap with the seat cushion. The vehicle seat includes an article placement part which, in the stowed state, protrudes more forward than the seatback and is provided with a support surface that faces upward. The article placement part is preferably an ottoman supported by the seat cushion. The ottoman is preferably pivotable relative to the seat cushion. Also, in the stowed state, the ottoman is preferably pivotable relative to the seat cushion.
Vehicle seat having a locking mechanism for locking a cushion carrier, which can be lowered at least in sections, during an adjustment of a backrest
A vehicle seat having a seat subframe, a cushion carrier for a seat part of the vehicle seat, wherein the cushion carrier is adjustably mounted on the seat subframe in order to lower at least one section of the cushion carrier, and a backrest which can be pivoted, relative to the seat subframe, in a comfort region for adjustment of a usage position of the backrest and in a transition region outside of the comfort region toward the cushion carrier into a loading position, wherein there is a locking mechanism which, during adjustment of the backrest in the comfort region, locks the cushion carrier against adjustment and permits adjustment of the cushion carrier by the adjustment of the backrest when the backrest is pivoted beyond the comfort region toward the loading position.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat (1), transferable from a usage position for transporting persons to a non-usage position, includes a seat cushion (3) having a seat cushion support (3a), a backrest (5), a vehicle connectable base (9) and a rocker (13), which is pivotably connected by a first joint (I) to the base or to a component (11) fixed to the base and is pivotably connected by a second joint (II) to the seat cushion support. A rear foot (21) is pivotably connected by a third joint (III) to the base or to a component fixed to the base. Pivoting motion of the rear foot about the third joint is lockable. The rear foot is pivotably connected by a fourth joint (IV) to the backrest. A fifth joint (V) connects the backrest to the seat cushion support. At least one of the joints (I, II, III, IV, V) is a fitting (25).
Convertible seat assembly for a truck cab
A convertible seat assembly comprises a seat sub-assembly rotatably coupled to a substantially flat base member. The seat sub-assembly comprises a back member having a substantially flat first side and second side with a seat member coupled to the second side. The seat sub-assembly is rotatable between a sleeping configuration and a seating configuration. In the sleeping configuration, the substantially flat first side of the back member and the substantially flat base member form a substantially flat horizontal sleeping surface for at least one person. In the seating configuration, the seat member is deployed as a seating region for at least one person.
