Stowable seat with backrest release
A stowable seat for an aircraft may comprise a housing and a backrest support configured to rotate relative to the housing. A locking mechanism comprising a first latch may be coupled to the backrest support. A releasing member may be in operable communication with the first latch. The releasing member may be configured to rotate the first latch relative to the backrest support. The releasing member may be located behind a cushion coupled to the backrest support.
Bus seat
A bus seat is provided. The bus seat includes a backrest frame having a curve in part and a lumbar support coupled to the backrest frame by the curve. The bus seat also includes a horizontal seat that is pivotable from a seat position, where a seat frame is locked onto a base frame, to a stowed position. The bus seat is provided in a modular configuration to allow multiple backrests to be used for the bus seat. The backrests may include changeable seat belt configurations and child restraint system configurations. The bus seat also includes a seat belt retractor having a vertical configuration and a horizontal configuration for retracting and extending the seat belt.

A vehicle seat structure including: a seat cushion on which a vehicle occupant sits; a seat back that supports a back portion of the vehicle occupant while sitting on the seat cushion in a seat deployed state, the seat deployed state being a state in which the vehicle occupant is able to sit on the seat cushion; and a seat deploying/retracting mechanism that enables the seat cushion and the seat back to slide in a vehicle up-down direction, and that, in a seat retracted state in which the seat cushion and the seat back are retracted, enables the seat cushion and the seat back to be placed in the vehicle up-down direction such that the seat cushion stands upright, and the seat back is placed at an upper side of the seat cushion.
INTEGRATED SAFETY SEAT FOR INFANTS AND SMALL CHILDREN
A safety seat for an occupant includes a front shell secured to a bulkhead. The front shell has an outer edge and an inner edge. The inner edge defines an opening. The safety seat includes a seat base having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The seat base has a first position and a second position. In the first position, the first side is flush with the inner edge and in the second position; the second side supports the occupant.
VEHICLE SEAT CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle seat control device including a control unit that, in a case in which at least one user has declared in advance a desire to board a self-driving vehicle having a plurality of seats that are switchable between a first state in which a user is able to sit down, and a second state that impedes a user sitting down, switches a same number of seats as a number of the at least one user to the first state before the at least one user boards the vehicle.
VEHICLE SEAT AND VEHICLE SEAT ARRANGEMENT STRUCTURE
A vehicle seat includes a seatback, a seat cushion, and a wheelchair fixing device. The seat cushion is switchable to a tip-up state where the seat cushion has been tipped up so as to extend along the seatback. The seat cushion includes a seating surface and a rear surface that is on the opposite side of the seat cushion from the seating surface. The wheelchair fixing device is provided on the rear surface-side. The wheelchair fixing device is configured to fix a wheelchair to the seat cushion.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat has a frame, a padded seat back assembly (16), a padded seat cushion assembly (18), and a seat cushion assembly tilt arrangement for tilting the seat cushion assembly. A valance cover (34) is mounted on an outer side of the seat. The cover has a rearward cover section (34a) and a forward cover section (34b). The forward cover section (34b) is mounted in fixed relation to the seat cushion assembly (18) for tilting movement together with the seat cushion assembly. The seat cushion padding (24) extends over an upper surface of the forward cover section (34b).
Configurable transit seating systems and methods
A system, method and apparatus for a transit seating system including multiple seat frames, each seat frame including, at least one forward support and at least one rearward support. The at least one forward support and the at least one rearward support are capable of being detachably secured to a transit vehicle floor. A seat back height track system is vertically and slideably coupled to the seat frame. A seat back subframe is coupled to the seat back height track system. A seat base frame is coupled to the seat back height track system through a seat hinge. The at least one forward support is capable of overlapping the at least one rearward support when at least two of the seat frames are in a nested or fully compressed or stowed configuration.
SWIVEL SEAT SYSTEM
A seating system comprises a plurality of seating assemblies having first and second-row seating assemblies. Each seating assembly includes a cradle pivotally coupled to a seat base and to a seatback. The seat base is movable between first and second positions. The seating assembly includes a base having first and second supports and a swivel plate assembly including first and second frames. The first frame is coupled to the cradle, and the second frame is coupled to the base. The swivel plate assembly includes first and second swivel plates, the first swivel plate coupled to the first frame and the second swivel plate coupled to the second frame. The first swivel plate is configured to allow the cradle to rotate between first and second positions relative to the base. The seating system includes a track assembly. The first and second supports of the base are slidably coupled to the track assembly.
SWIVEL PLATE ASSEMBLY
A swivel plate assembly is provided that comprises a first swivel plate coupled to a second swivel plate. Each of the first and second swivel plates includes a first portion and a second portion. A channel is defined by the first swivel plate and the second swivel plate. A ball bearing assembly is positioned within the channel. A ball bearing of the ball bearing assembly is positioned substantially flush with the first and second swivel plates.
