AIRBAG WITH INFLATOR ATTACHMENT
An apparatus for helping to protect an occupant of a vehicle seat includes an airbag defining an inflatable volume for receiving inflation fluid from an inflator having first and second ends. The airbag has a first sleeve configured to receive the first end of the inflator and a second end configured to receive the second end of the inflator. The first and second sleeves extend from the airbag.
Roof airbag for vehicles
A roof airbag for vehicles is proposed. The roof airbag includes: a main chamber configured to be deployed as gas is introduced therein through a diffuser; an overlap chamber into which the gas is introduced and configured to be deployed into a shape that overlaps the main chamber around the diffuser; and a support chamber into which the gas is introduced and configured to be deployed while overlapping a roof frame.

STEERING WHEEL AIRBAG DEVICE
A steering wheel airbag device includes an airbag and an inflator. The airbag includes: a bag body; and a rectifying member rectifies expansion gas discharged from the inflator. The rectifying member is provided with three gas outlet ports so that the expansion gas can flow out substantially along a ring surface of the ring portion and to left, right, and rear three sides. The rectifying member is configured by partially joining outer peripheral edges of a vehicle body side panel and a driver side panel. The vehicle body side panel is configured to have three joining portions which are joined to corresponding outer peripheral edges of the driver side panel and three non-joining regions between the joining portions arranged on an outer peripheral edge side of the flat surface portion. The gas outlet port is configured by a portion of the non-joining region between the joining portions.
CURTAIN AIRBAG APPARATUS HAVING TWIST PREVENTION STRUCTURE
The present disclosure relates to a curtain airbag apparatus having a twist prevention structure, and it is possible to mark a strap line 300 extending in a straight shape on a strap part 210 of a tab strap 200 for fixing a curtain airbag cushion 100 folded in a roll form, and easily check whether the curtain airbag cushion 100 folded in the roll form is twisted with the naked eye through the strap line 300.

Air bag device and method for manufacturing same
An airbag apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention is configured such that the airbag is housed as a compressed body which is compressed to collapse. The second aspect of the present invention is a method for manufacturing an airbag apparatus, wherein the method includes the step of forming a compressed body of an airbag by compressing the airbag so as to collapse the airbag without rolling or folding the airbag.
ROOF AIRBAG FOR A VEHICLE
A roof airbag for a vehicle longitudinally extends along a length between first and second longitudinal ends and laterally extends along a width between first and second lateral sides. An inlet for receiving inflation gases is provided at the first longitudinal end. A plenum is in fluid communication with the inlet for receiving the inflation gases from the inlet. The roof airbag includes a plurality of primary inflatable chambers, each primary inflatable chamber in fluid communication with the plenum to receive inflation gases from the plenum. A plurality of secondary inflatable chambers is in indirect fluid communication with the plenum to receive inflation gases indirectly from the plenum through the plurality of primary inflatable chambers. The primary inflatable chambers of the plurality of primary inflatable chambers are arranged to first drive deployment of the airbag and subsequently inflate the second inflatable chambers of the plurality of second inflatable chambers to tension the airbag in the lateral direction. The primary and secondary inflatable chambers cooperate to provide a barrier between occupants of the vehicle and the roof frame.
Apparatus for guiding inflation fluid within an airbag
An apparatus for helping to protect an occupant of a vehicle includes an airbag and a fabric diffuser for directing inflation fluid from an inflator into the airbag. The fabric diffuser comprises first and second fabric panels arranged overlying each other and having portions interconnected along seams to define a pocket configured to receive the inflator. The pocket has a double layer diffuser section defined by the overlying first and second fabric panels that is configured to receive a discharge end of the inflator. The fabric diffuser is configured to be installed in the airbag. The first and second panels are configured so that a plurality of openings of the first fabric panel do not overlie a plurality of openings of the second fabric panel when the panels are interconnected so that inflation fluid travels an indirect path from inside the diffuser section to the exterior of the fabric diffuser.
