The arm pocket has an opening configured to allow the at least one arm of the baby or infant to be inserted into the arm pocket.

An infant sleeping garment has a main body formed from a front surface joined to a rear surface. The rear surface has an attached flap portion which can be closed to form a rear compartment between the rear surface of the garment and the flap portion. A gel pack can be inserted into the rear compartment when in an open configuration, and retained within the compartment in a closed configuration by closing the rear compartment by a suitable closure element such as a zipper. The gel pack can be removed from the rear compartment by opening the closure element. The infant garment can be used, at the selection of the user, in combination with the gel pack retained within the rear compartment, or without the gel pack received in the rear compartment of the garment.

The pillow includes first and second side portions that surround a cavity that is sized and shaped to receive the shoulders and torso of the baby. The side portions support a baby's arms.

System for maintaining an infant in a supine position

A system for maintaining an infant in a supine position on a base encased by a fitted cover. The system includes a garment including lateral tabs configured to removably attach to spaced tethers attached to the fitted cover. In use, the garment is positioned between the spaced tethers and each tether removably attaches to both sides of the respective tab such that the tab is captured between portions of the tether. In embodiments, the tabs and tethers removably attach using hook and look fasteners having a high resistance to shear pulling forces. In embodiments, the system resists rollover motion without constraining hip motion.

Infant sleep suit

An innovative sleeping suit for infants, configured to provide warmth, a contained environment, and positive proprioceptive input, and thereby reduce neurological reflexive twitching or habitual waking patterns prevalent when infants are placed on their backs for sleeping and are not swaddled. The weighting in the suit is believed to reduce the neurological reflexive twitching and provides a swaddling effect to infants helping them to fall asleep and remain sleeping when on their backs. At least a portion of an anterior portion of the suit includes the weighting. The weighting may be accomplished by varying the thickness of the materials and/or quantity of layers of materials used on the anterior portion of the suit. The weighting may be distributed uniformly throughout the suit, the anterior portion of the suit, or can be strategically placed at proprioceptive target points along the anterior portion of the suit.

The device comprises a light weight, elongated pillow having a longitudinal axis and being configured to assume a rest position at a back side of the individual and proximate to an adjacent surface of a bed when reclined in a side-sleeping orientation. The pillow includes a hinge-like attachment structure which is positioned along a longitudinal edge of the pillow to secure the pillow to the individual's bed clothing. The attachment structure provides sufficient rotation to allow the pillow to rotate to the rest position in response to the force of gravity, ready to be engaged in a partial captured configuration between the individual's back and bed surface upon initial rotation of the individual from the side-sleeping orientation toward a supine sleeping position.

Swaddle garments for infants are provided herein, including a torso section including a first arm opening and a second arm opening, a seam including a first fastener or a first plurality of fasteners to reversibly close the torso section over a chest and a stomach of an infant, and a back section attached to a fitted sheet for a crib mattress, and an adjustable leg section attached to the torso section comprising a second fastener or a second plurality of fasteners configured to optionally fold and stow a portion of the leg section, a length of the portion adjustable relative to a total length of the leg section. Swaddle garments further including a constriction strap attached to an interior of the torso section are further provided. Fitted sheets including a pocket for positioning under a head of an infant, the pocket configured to receive a pillow, are further provided.

INFANT SLEEP SYSTEM

A sleeping system for infants comprises a support board having left and right attachment points disposed on either lateral side of the support board to which may be removably attached a swaddle pod for swaddling an infant. The swaddle pod includes a retention strap secured to a rear portion of the swaddle pod, the retention strap having opposite lateral ends with first and second attachment members for attaching the ends of the strap to corresponding first and second attachment points such that an infant enclosed with the swaddle pod is kept on her back.
