Each MLRA product application device comprises a common housing for a number of low rate agricultural product input assemblies.

A crop growth sensing apparatus and method supporting agricultural machinery variable-quantity fertilization, includes a shock-absorbing support, a shock-absorbing frame, and a cantilever beam. The shock-absorbing support is connected to an agricultural machinery vehicle frame. The cantilever beam is pivotally connected above a shock-absorbing spring of the shock-absorbing support. The cantilever beam, by means shock-absorbing springs mounted thereabove and thereunder, is pivotally connected to the shock-absorbing frame. The shock-absorbing frame is fixedly connected to a crop growth sensor. The crop growth sensing method employs an engine vibration model of the agricultural machinery and a vibration model for vehicle wheels and farmland road surface as excitations in analyzing vibrations of a crop growth multispectral sensor shock-absorbing apparatus to determine the number and mount positions of sensitive elements of the crop growth multispectral sensor. Also provided are a self-balancing apparatus and a self-balancing method for the crop growth multispectral sensor.

Airflow equalizing system for distributing particulate material

The invention provides a system for equalizing airflow in lines delivering product-conveying air to boom sections of an agricultural machine by controlling valves, such as electronically, in each air distribution line to induce additional pressure drops in lines which would cause imbalance in the system. Such valves can include, but are not limited to: ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, globe valves, diaphragm valves, pinch valves and/or plug valves. With the proposed system, the lines of least pressure drop can be induced with additional pressure drop by particular valves in order to bring the lines back to a balanced state.

Locking boom stand

A locking stand for use with a boom associated with an agricultural machine. The locking stand includes a stand base and a locking arm that is movably attached to the stand base. The stand base may include a stand body with a stand base lower section and a stand base upper section. The lower section is configured to engage a support surface and the upper section supports the sprayer boom arm. The locking arm is movable between an open position for locking the sprayer boom in the locking boom stand. A hook arrangement associated with both the locking arm and the stand base upper section may be used to lock the boom stand relative to the boom. More specifically, the hook arrangement may include a stand base hook associated with the stand base upper section and a locking arm hook associated with the locking arm.
