CARRIER
A carrier (2) made of cardboard, paperboard or other lightweight foldable sheet material, comprises a top sheet (4) defining one or more pockets (20) for receiving one or more products and a bottom sheet (6) attached to the top sheet (4). The top sheet (4) comprises one or more respective sets (30) of flaps (32) for forming the respective pockets (20), each flap (32) being hingedly connected at a proximal end (36) to a top surface (38) of the top sheet (4) about a respective flap hinge line (40) defined around an upper edge (42) of the respective pocket (20) and folded about the respective flap hinge line (40) to define a pocket side wall. The top sheet (4) further comprises respective tabs (50) hingedly connected to distal ends (46) of the respective flaps (32) about respective tab fold lines (52) and folded about a respective tab fold line (52) so as to lie along a base of the pocket (20). The bottom sheet (6) is bonded to the respective tabs (50) in a face to face relationship to close at least a portion the base of the pocket (20).
Packaging element constructed from folded blank
A packaging element for accommodating at least one product. The packaging element may include a blank which has the following portions connected to one another by folding lines: an accommodating portion having at least one receptacle, the shape of which is matched to the shape of a product to be accommodated; a first side-wall portion; a first cover-wall portion; a second side-wall portion; and a second cover-wall portion. The first cover-wall portion may have at least one hollow, and the second cover-wall portion may have at least one protrusion with a shape and position complementary to the hollow.
CONVERTIBLE TRAY
Convertible trays are disclosed with features that facilitate preparation, transportation, and presentation of food items. An example convertible tray includes a substrate defining apertures, where each aperture is for holding a food item. The convertible tray also includes a first separation feature (e.g., at least one perforation) defined by the folded substrate on a first side of the convertible tray adjacent to at least one aperture of the apertures. The convertible tray further includes flaps that are foldable to support the first side of the convertible tray above a support surface. The folded substrate can be divided at the at least one perforation, to remove an individual tray that includes the at least one aperture adjacent to the perforation. The individual tray can be inserted into a serving container while holding the food item.
SHIPPING CARTON TRANSFORMABLE INTO A SHELF READY TRAY
A shipping carton is disclosed that is transformable into a shelf ready tray, which includes an upper portion configured as an RSC type carton having a plurality of foldable closure flaps and a lower portion configured as a shelf ready tray that has a flat base panel, wherein the upper portion is separable from the bottom portion along a series of interconnected perforated cut lines, so as to transform the shipping carton into a shelf ready tray.
Thin wall product display tube
A thin-walled polypropylene product display tube. The thin-walled polypropylene product display tube includes a tubular member having a closed end, an open end, an inner diameter and, between the closed end and the open end, a first outer diameter, the open end terminating in a flared portion having a second outer diameter, the tubular member having a wall thickness sufficient to yield a level of haze equal to or less than 8%. A process for forming a thin-walled polypropylene product display tube is also provided.
Product packaging
A product packaging includes: a sleeve forming a first opening to an interior; and a product display configured to be contained within the interior when the product packaging is in a closed state, the product display including a lid that is configured to close the first opening in the closed state, and to begin, upon the lid being pulled, extraction of the product display from the sleeve into a presentation state.
PACKAGING STRUCTURE
A packaging structure disclosed herein includes a box in which a component is accommodated and a lower layer tray and a middle layer tray formed of a cardboard sheet. The lower layer tray is provided inside the box. The middle layer tray is provided above the lower layer tray inside the box. The lower layer tray includes a lower layer opening into which the component is inserted and fixed, and a lower layer first tab provided at an edge of the lower layer opening and folded downward. The middle layer tray includes a middle layer opening into which the component is inserted and fixed, and a middle layer first tab provided at an edge of the middle layer opening, folded downward, and engaged with the lower layer opening in a state of overlapping the lower layer first tab.
MERCHANDISE STORAGE AND DISPLAY MOUNT
A merchandise storage and display mount includes a support that fits within a recess of the merchandise to be stored and displayed. The merchandise can be a five-sided protective case for a hand-held electronic device. The case defines an recess that receives a portion of the mount. The mount is formed from a foldable material and can be erected from a flat blank by folding the material and gluing at selected locations. The mount includes stiffeners that add durability to the mount. The mount is durable and can be used in combination with different merchandise storage devices.
MERCHANDISE SHIPPING AND DISPLAY CONTAINER
A shipping container having a housing for holding merchandise and having a top that may be opened to allow access to the inside of the housing. A topper contained within the housing is positioned within the housing to present a surface when the lid is opened. A device coupled to the topper is operable to lift the topper and reveal merchandise contained in the housing. The device operable to lift the topper may be a tab, notch or other mechanism coupled to the topper so as to allow the topper to be rotated, slid or lifted away to reveal the merchandise. The surface of the topper preferably has a receptacle for releasably holding information about the merchandise. The shipping container provides a pleasant and upscale experience to the buyer and may be used as a display container for the merchandise.
Package and process of making the same
A package includes a casing of made sheet material defining an inner volume, the casing including first lateral walls defining a first passage opening delimited by a first free edge, the casing including an engagement portion extending from a lateral wall of the first lateral walls inside of the inner volume to provide a projection, wherein the engagement portion extends from the first free edge of the casing in a direction towards the inner volume. The package also includes a container made of sheet material, separate from the casing, and configured for housing a product, the container comprising second lateral walls defining a second passage opening delimited by a second free edge, the second passage opening of the container being configured for insertion and withdrawal of the product from the container, and the container being configurable between first and second operative positions.
