The first distance (Wc1, Wc2, Lcf) is equal to or less than a linear dimension (Lt1, Wt2) of a tray (90) formed from the tray blank (10).

The folding element is implemented by a separate component that differs from the packaging base body, and the folding element is implemented by an insert piece for the packaging base body and is configured to be arranged in the receiving region of the brush product packaging device.
