A pallet (100) comprises a platform section (101) and foot sections (103-107) protruding downwards from the platform section. The pallet comprises at least one elongated support element (108) between opposite edge areas of the pallet and going via a lower portion of a foot section (107) that is between and distances away from the opposite edge areas of the pallet. The elongated support element is connected to the opposite edge areas of the pallet with connections (109, 110) for receiving tensile stress acting on the elongated support element. The tensile stress of the elongated support element is increased in response to downwards arching bending of the platform section. Thus, the elongated support element tends to prevent the bending of the platform section.

A single deck pallet comprising a deck having a top for supporting a load and a bottom, at least four sides, the at least four sides comprising a first pair of opposed sides and a second pair of opposed sides. A plurality of intermediate spaced apart beams of the deck extending between (and preferably to) at least a first pair of opposed sides. A plurality of distributed primary props dependent from the deck and projecting below the bottom of the deck to aid in supporting the pallet on a surface. At least one beam extends between adjacent primary props and the primary props are horizontally spaced apart from each other and from said at least one beam so as to allow a tine of a forklift to pass in a linear direction parallel to the at least one beam between adjacent primary props to reach at least partially under and bear on the bottom of the deck and bear on the at least one beam.

A single deck pallet comprising a deck having a top for supporting a load and a bottom, at least four sides, the at least four sides comprising a first pair of opposed sides and a second pair of opposed sides. A plurality of intermediate spaced apart beams of the deck extending between at least a first pair of opposed sides. A pallet for shipping goods, where the pallet includes a rigid member, a phase change material, and a temperature indicator. The rigid member further includes a phase change material compartment which contains the phase change material.

A first pallet includes a deck and a peripheral wall extending downward from a periphery of the deck. A plurality of feet extend downward from the deck. Each of the feet includes a foot wall defining its periphery. An outer portion of each foot wall is coterminous with the peripheral wall of the deck. The deck includes an opening aligned with each of the plurality of feet. A second, wider pallet may be used with the first pallet. The second pallet may be stacked on the first pallet and vice versa. In the second pallet, the outer portion of the wall of each of the feet is spaced inward from the peripheral wall of the deck, such that the deck of the second pallet is wider than the deck of the first pallet, but the spacing and size of the feet of both decks are identical.

A part transporting pallet transports a part to a predetermined destination by a mobile carriage that includes a lifter which is configured for moving upwards and downwards in a vertical direction, and includes: a pallet body that forms at least one coupling hole which may be coupled with the lifter; and plurality of part aligning units have at least two position aligning pins that correctly position parts of different types on the pallet body, and are provided on the pallet body to vary the position of the position aligning pins according to the types of the parts.

A pallet that is configured and designed to support a load of material and rest alternatively on a flat surface on a roof so as to straddle the peak or ridge of a roof. The pallets can be loaded with materials such as roofing shingles, delivered to a work site on a truck bed and lifted up and positioned on the peak or ridge of a roof without having to unload the materials from the pallets.

A re-usable, returnable, stackable, modular shipping base incorporates replaceable components to make the base relatively quick and cost effective to repair. The shipping base is formed from a number of stamped or cut sheet materials (e.g., sheet metal) that are then folded and attached to one another using a tab system. When a component is damaged, the damaged component may be removed from the base and replaced with another mass produced, stamped sheet material component. Components are attached to one another via adhesive, stitch welding, skip welding, spot welding, or any other applicable process. Some components (e.g., a center support) may also be assembled using a tab (from the center support) and slot (in a deck pan) system.
