PLASTIC PALLET HAVING AN INTEGRALLY FORMED DECK AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A reinforced plastic pallet includes an integrally formed deck having a top deck surface, a bottom deck surface, and a plurality of spaced apart supports extending between the top deck surface and the bottom deck surface. The top deck surface has a plurality of outwardly extending top ribs extending from the top deck surface and the bottom deck surface has a plurality of outwardly extending bottom ribs extending from the bottom deck surface. A top sheet is coupled to the top deck surface to fully enclose the top ribs between the top sheet and the top deck surface. A bottom sheet is coupled to the bottom deck surface and encloses the bottom ribs between the bottom sheet and the bottom deck surface. The pallet may include optional reinforcement rods fully contained within channels formed in the ribs.
Pallet and logistic system
A pallet has a deck, a skid and a plurality of blocks, spacing the skid from the deck. The blocks comprise spacer portions and sleeve portions, wherein the sleeve portions may extend above and below the spacer portions. The deck and skid peripheral edges are cut away such that the deck and skid can be recessed with the blocks. The pallet constructed in this way can advantageously be made in any conventional size to meet the relevant norm or standard, while benefitting from the fact that the sleeve portions protect the edges of the deck and/or skid from impact. Furthermore, any impact imparted on the blocks is transmitted by the respective sleeve to the deck and/or skid. The elements of the pallet are connected without mechanical fasteners and the pallet can be easily repaired by removal and replacement of individual elements. A logistic system is also described.
WOODEN PALLET WITH END DECK BOARDS AND BUTTED SPACERS
A pallet includes a base layer and a cargo layer. The cargo layer includes a pair of spaced apart end deck boards, and intermediate deck boards between the pair of spaced apart end deck boards. Spacers are between the end deck boards and the intermediate deck boards. The spacers are positioned so that they butt up against the end deck boards to increase pallet durability. The spacers include block spacers, L-shaped metal brackets and U-shaped metal brackets. Spaced apart supports are coupled between the base and cargo layers and forming a gap therebetween for receiving a lifting member.
Pallet with impact resistant and strengthened composite legs
A pallet includes a deck and one or more leg-plank bridges that extend from the deck. The leg-plank bridges include one or more legs and a plank that extends between the legs. The legs and plank are integrally formed together and attached to the deck. The legs have one or more internal walls that define one or more cavities. Concrete fills the cavities of the legs located on a lead end of the pallet. The remaining cavities in the legs are filled with foam. The cavities in one version are wedge shaped. Other legs of the deck are filled entirely with foam.
REPAIRABLE PLASTIC PALLET WITH GROMMETS IN THE TOP DECK AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A pallet includes a top deck, a bottom deck, and spaced apart support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks. The top deck has grommet openings extending therethrough, with each grommet opening including a recessed shelf. Grommets are inserted into respective grommet openings. Each grommet includes an upper section comprising a lower lip resting on the recessed shelf, and an outer exposed surface of the upper section extending in height above the top deck. At least one mid-section is adjacent the lower lip and extends from the upper section to an underside of the top deck. At least one lower section extends from the at least one mid-section, and includes a pair of spaced apart lips resting on the underside of the top deck. An outer exposed surface of the at least one lower section extends in height below the underside of the top deck.
REPAIRABLE PLASTIC PALLET WITH CARVINGS IN THE TOP DECK AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A pallet includes a top deck, a bottom deck, and spaced apart support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks and forming an opening therebetween for receiving a lifting member. The top deck includes at least one deck scoop area on an underside thereof. A thickness of the top deck is reduced in the at least one deck scoop area to reduce influence of top deck deflection on ability of the lifting member to pass through the opening between the top and bottom decks.
REPAIRABLE PLASTIC PALLET WITH REMOVABLE SUPPORT BLOCKS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A pallet top deck, a bottom deck, and spaced apart support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks. Each support block includes an inner wall surrounding an interior opening, an outer wall surrounding the inner wall, and a plurality of ribs extending between the inner and outer walls. A first plurality of upper tabs extend outwards from upper surfaces of the inner wall and the plurality of ribs, with each tab comprising an angled contact surface for engaging top deck tab openings in an underside of the top deck. A second plurality of upper tabs extend outwards from the upper surfaces of the inner wall and the plurality of ribs, with each tab comprising an angled contact surface for engaging the top deck tab openings. The angled contact surfaces of the first and second plurality of upper tabs face away from each other.
REINFORCED PLASTIC PALLET
The present invention is to provide a plastic pallet with reinforcements with a great resistance to bending caused by the placing of mechanisms used for transport and storage thereof, such as those caused by racking load. Likewise, the present invention is to disclose a plastic pallet with reinforcements such as inserts, which support a larger load compared with the conventional pallets without substantially incrementing the total weight.
PALLET
A modular pallet comprising at least two spaced apart beams, and at least two pallet segments, wherein the beams are located through each of the pallet segments. A method of manufacturing a pallet, the method including the steps of locating two or more pallet segments over one or more beams wherein the beams are located through each of the pallet segments.
Plastic pallet with centerline markings and associated methods
A pallet includes a top deck having a rectangular shape, a bottom deck having a rectangular shape, and spaced apart corner support blocks and spaced apart intermediate support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks and forming a gap therebetween for receiving a lifting member. Centerline markings are carried by at least one of the top deck, the bottom deck, and the corner and intermediate support blocks so as to provide a visual aid to an operator of the lifting member.
