A lid may include first and second openings disposed within a spout. The first opening may provide a first fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in an attached container and the second opening may provide a second fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in the container. The lid may also include a spout at least partially defined by an outer wall. First and second openings may be disposed within the spout and the openings may be at least partially defined by the outer wall of the spout. A conduit, such as a straw, may be coupled to an opening. If desired, a closure may be connected to the lid and the closure may selectively close one or more of the openings.
System and Method for Odor Treatment
The present invention relates to a system and method for odor treatment. In most embodiments the system comprises a container comprising a receptacle and a lid which is filled with a mixture of odor treating materials. In many embodiments this odor treating material mixture is a combination of sodium bicarbonate and activated carbon. In most embodiments the method for odor treatment comprises five main steps. First, the odor treating material is prepared. Second, the odor treating material is dispensed or placed within the container. Third, the container is sealed, closed, or covered. Fourth, the container is opened. And fifth, the odor treating material is dispensed from container directly onto an odor causing material.
Pourable food container with drink spout
A container for pourable food comprises an initially sealed body portion for holding the pourable food and a drink spout for drinking from the container. The proximal end of a base portion of the drink spout is permanently attached to the outer surface of the container, and has an opening to receive pourable food from the body of the container. The distal end of the base portion has an opening for drinking the pourable food from the container. The drink spout comprises a lid portion initially attached to the base portion to seal the opening at the distal end by a breakable sealing portion. The drink spout comprises a connection portion permanently attaching the lid portion to the base portion. The connection portion is a flexure hinge allowing the lid portion to pivot away from the base portion after the breakable sealing portion has been broken.
SIPLID FOR A CONTAINER HAVING A TWISTING EFFECT, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH SIPLID
The invention relates to a siplid 2, a container provided with such siplid and a method therefor. The siplid comprises: • - a container side 4, a consumer side 6, and a siplid plane 12 having a siplid axis 14; • - an edge 8 configured for surrounding a container opening to cover the container opening; • - a drinking opening 18 in the siplid having a length L substantially extending in the circumferential direction of the siplid, and having a width W substantially extending in the radial direction of the siplid; • - a moveable tab 20 configured for covering the opening in a closed position; • - a recess 22 configured for receiving the moveable tab in an open position; • - a hinge 32 configured for enabling rotational movement of the tab around a hinge axis; and • - a section line 16 extending in the siplid plane dividing the opening in two equal parts, and a division line 34 in between the opening and the recess extending substantially perpendicular to the section line wherein the hinge axis is provided at a lid angle to the division line.
INTEGRATED CLOSURE AND CONTAINER
Disclosed herein are integrated closures for a container The integrated closure includes a base and a lid connected to the base via a hinge, where the lid and hinge are configured to permit the lid to open towards a center of the integrated closure, and a film. The film including a first portion connected to at least a portion of a bottom surface of the base, a second portion connected to at least a bottom surface of the lid, and a third portion connected to the first portion and releasably connected to the second portion. The integrated closure including a tamper indicator membrane connected to an edge of the lip and a corresponding edge of the base. The base further including a retention mechanism, the retention mechanism configured to engage and retain the lid in an open position.
Combined lid and strainer device for a paint container
A combined lid and strainer device for a paint container features an outer mounting rim configured for mated fitting onto a rim of the paint container. Within a central circular area surrounded by the rim, there is a perforated a straining area through which paint is pourable. A movable cover is selectively movable between a closed position overlying the perforated straining area, and open positions withdrawn therefrom to allow strained pouring of the paint therethrough. Raised features on the cover are used to secure the cover closed when the lidded container is placed in a paint shaker. A sealing membrane is used, at least initially, seal the perforated area in air-tight fashion to maintain paint freshness. Securement features are usable to secure the flap in both closed and open positions.
Lid for a container
A lid may include first and second openings disposed within a spout. The first opening may provide a first fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in an attached container and the second opening may provide a second fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in the container. The lid may also include a spout at least partially defined by an outer wall. First and second openings may be disposed within the spout and the openings may be at least partially defined by the outer wall of the spout. A conduit, such as a straw, may be coupled to an opening.
