CLOSURE CAPSULE
A closure capsule for closing a container, comprising:a stopper (2) applicable to the container and comprising a first perforable membrane (21);a first cutter (31) of the first membrane, said first cutter (31) being movable between a start stroke position and an end stroke position; in the start stroke position of the first cutter (31), in combination with at least the first membrane (21), the first cutter (31) delimits a first tank (41) for containing a first substance; in the end stroke position of the first cutter (31) at least a part of the first membrane (21) being perforated to enable passage of the first substance from the first tank (41) to the container. The stopper (2) comprises at least a second perforable membrane (22). The capsule (1) comprises a second cutter (32) for cutting the second membrane, said second cutter (32) being movable between a start stroke position and an end stroke position; in the start stroke position of the second cutter (32), in combination with at least the second membrane (22), the second cutter (32) delimiting a second tank (42) for containing a second substance; in the end stroke position of the second cutter (32) at least a part of the second membrane (22) being perforated and enabling passage of the second substance from the second tank (42) to the container
Automatic beverage mixer
A cap that can be attached onto a container such as a standard-sized aluminum drink can. The cap has a chamber that contains fluid that can be mixed with the fluid in the aluminum drink can to form a mixed beverage. A consumer may drink the beverage through the cap.
DEVICES, SOLUTIONS AND METHODS FOR SAMPLE COLLECTION
Some embodiments are directed to a bodily fluid sample collection device for the collection of naturally expressed bodily fluids and include a cap engageable with a tube to close a mouth of the tube. The cap includes a chamber for containing a reagent. The tube defines at least partly a sample collection space for receiving the naturally expressed bodily fluid. The cap comprises first and second cap portions relatively movable with respect to each other. The first and second cap portions are configured such that, responsive to engagement of the cap on the tube, one of the cap portions is caused to move integrally relative to the other cap portion to open the chamber and permit fluid communication between the chamber and the sample collection space. The reagent in the chamber is thereby permitted to mix with the bodily fluid in the sample collection space. A method of organizing and processing samples is also described.
INFANT FORMULA PREPARATION APPARATUS
An assembly for dispensing a substance into a receptacle, the assembly comprising: a) a first portion connected to an opening of the receptacle; b) a chamber for containing the substance, the chamber being at least partly located within the first portion; c) a seal located below the chamber, the seal retaining the substance in the chamber; d) a removable stop member; and wherein removal of the stop member enables the chamber to be moved downwardly to cause the seal to open and release the substance into the receptacle.
Disposable ingredient-dispensing apparatus
A disposable ingredient-dispensing apparatus selectively dispenses one or more ingredients. The disposable ingredient-dispensing apparatus includes a substantially circular base member comprising multiple chambers circumferentially positioned along the base member, and a ring frame configured to be rotatable circumferentially along a surface of the base member. Each chamber is filled with the one or more ingredients, and is sealed with a diaphragm. The ring frame comprises a rupturing member positioned at a predefined section of the ring frame, and the ring frame is rotated to selectively align the rupturing member to enclose one of the chambers, and the rupturing member contacts the aligned chamber to rupture the diaphragm for selectively dispensing the ingredients.
DRUG MIXING CONTAINER
A drug mixing container is provided. The drug mixing container includes a container with an opening facing upward and a cover body. An inner peripheral wall of the container includes at least one piercing structure protruding toward the opening of the container. The cover body accommodates a drug and includes a sealing film for sealing the drug in the cover body. In use, when an opening of the cover body is coupled downward to the opening of the container, the sealing film is pierced and torn by the piercing structure to make the drug in the cover body flow into the container, thereby preventing hands of an operator from being stained with the drug.
TWO-PART DISPENSING CLOSURE SYSTEM WITH INTERNAL SEAL AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A dispensing closure system includes an upper closure portion and a lower closure portion including an axial flow conduit and a vent conduit. The upper closure portion is axially movable relative to lower closure portion between shipping and dispensing positions. A seal is disposed on the lower closure portion over the flow and vent conduits. A peripheral spacing strip is removably secured to the upper closure portion and engages with either the lower closure or the outside of the container to prevent movement. A piercing probe includes piercing elements in alignment with the flow and vent conduits for piercing the seal. In the shipping position, the piercing elements are spaced from the seal. However, when the spacing strip is removed and the upper closure portion is axially moved to the dispensing position, the piercing elements pierce the seal to open the flow conduit and the vent conduit.
FRUIT FLAVORING IN THE IMAGE OF A FRUIT PORTION FOR INTRODUCTION INTO A VESSEL FOR FLAVORING A FLUID
An apparatus and method are provided for storing and dispensing into a liquid a soluble substance, such as a flavoring, a body fuel, a nutritional supplement, a stimulant, a relaxant, an alcohol neutralizer, or a medical drug. A useful application of the subject invention includes a lime flavoring held by a gelatinous artificial lime wedge stored with a beer bottle or can, or attached to a 6-pack or 12-pack carton. The artificial lime wedge may be retrieved from a protective covering and acted upon so it mixes the lime flavoring into the beer when it is inserted into the beer bottle or can. Rather than needing to buy and store a perishable natural lime, and cut it up, an artificial lime wedge may be stored for an extended period of time with a beer vessel and placed in functional contact with the beer at time of consumption.
CONTAINER ADDITIVE SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present disclosure include a container additive system that can be used to mix an additive separately contained inside a receptacle with the contents of a container. The system can enable separate transport of additives for the contents of the container in a sterile and convenient manner that enables mixing according to a user's preferences before the opening of the container and dispensing. According to some aspects, the system can include a breacher configured to connect the insides of the container and receptacle. The receptacle may be rigid, flexible bag type container or a hybrid thereof, depending on the application and side of the additive. In some embodiments, the system or parts thereof may serve as a cap or lid to the container. The container is also not limited to rigid or semi rigid surfaces but can also include flexible bag type or hybrids of flexible and rigid surfaces.
CONTAINER WITH MULTI DEPRESSIBLE CAP PRESS TOP
A substance container has a cap that defines a cap space for an additive. The cap has a cap space opening closed by a seal which may or may not be pre-weakened, and a flexible press top having a pushing mechanism that reaches through the cap space attached on one end to the flexible top, while another end of the pushing mechanism is directed to the opening. The flexible press top has an upper side and an opposite lower side arranged such that upon depression the pushing mechanisms means hold fixed radial positions during translation to the opening, contact with the seal and push through the seal.
