A method for producing a primary laminate including a tabstock by feeding a seal laminate comprising bottom food contact layers including a foil layer and a top polyester layer to a laminating station wherein either the foil layer of the underside of the polyester layer has been printed; simultaneously feeding a tabstock, which is narrower than the seal laminate, to the laminating station such that the bottom of the tabstock and the top polyester layer of the seal laminate come into contact to form a primary substrate, simultaneously feeding a plastic film stock; and continuously extruding a polymeric adhesive between the top face of the primary substrate and bottom surface of the plastic film stock.

A peelable lid system includes a peelable lid, a seal configured to seal the peelable lid to a container, a handle coupled to the peelable lid, and a lifting mechanism coupled to handle. The lifting mechanism can be coupled to the peelable lid at a plurality of attachment points, including at least one attachment point coupled to the peelable lid away from the handle. The lifting mechanism can be configured to lift at least one portion of the peelable lid near each of the plurality of attachment points.

A packaging for holding a oral medications is disclosed. The packaging includes a body with a plurality of compartments that are each configured to hold at least one of the oral medications. The body includes an outer perimeter, one or more outer corner regions, a shoulder extending about the outer perimeter, a center region, and a plurality of strips extending radially from the center region of the body to the shoulder that together define a top surface of the body. The packaging includes a detachable cover adhesively bonded to the top surface of the body for confining the oral medications in the compartments. The packaging further includes a corner pull tab formable at one or more outer corner regions that include the surface-area reducing features. The corner pull tab is configured to at least partially detach the adhesive attachment of the cover from the top surface of the body.

A food containment assembly includes a first cup with a first sealing flange and a second cup with a second sealing flange. The second cup is separate from and disposed adjacent to the first cup. A seal sheet is adhered to the first sealing flange and the second sealing flange, and the seal sheet forms a hinge to allow rotation of the second cup with respect to the first cup. The seal sheet includes a first slit disposed proximate the hinge and a second slit proximate the hinge, wherein tearing the seal sheet along the first slit allows access to contents of the first cup and tearing the seal sheet along the second slit allows access to contents of the second cup and the hinge remains intact.
