MOISTURE LOCK FLUID RETENTION ASSEMBLIES, GARMENTS INCLUDING THE SAME, AND RELATED METHODS
Garments may include a fluid retention assembly coupled to the garment base interior side and having an outer perimeter. The fluid retention assembly includes an absorbent layer configured to absorb fluid excreted from the wearer when the garment is worn, and a moisture-impermeable layer that underlies the absorbent layer and separates the garment base interior side from the absorbent-layer exterior side. The moisture-impermeable layer is configured to restrict fluid from exiting the fluid retention assembly to the garment base interior side. The moisture-impermeable layer extends to and wraps around at least a portion of the outer perimeter of the fluid retention assembly and is coupled to the assembly interior side, thereby creating a moisture lock to retain fluids within the fluid retention assembly.
Quick-drying lightweight bra
Aspects herein are directed to a bra having a front portion formed with multiple layers of mesh to provide a supportive, modest bra that is breathable, lightweight, and quick drying. The front portion includes an interior support panel assembly having a first panel made of a mesh material and a second panel made of a spacer mesh material that is adjacent and external to the first panel. The front portion also includes an upper support panel made of a spacer mesh material and a lower support panel made of a mesh material that each are positioned adjacent and external to the interior support panel assembly. The upper support panel and the lower support panel are each defined by a top edge and a bottom edge, and at least a portion of the upper support panel bottom edge may be positioned superior to the lower support panel bottom edge.
FOLDABLE GARMENTS
A garment that can be folded in on itself to form a self-contained pouch and unfolded to form a wearable garment is provided. In one aspect, the garment is an undergarment that includes a front panel, a first layer, a second layer, and a circular seam. The first layer can be coupled to the front panel along edges of the right portion of the front panel. The second layer can be coupled to the front panel along edges of the left portion of the front panel. The circular seam can join the first layer, the second layer, and the front panel. The circular seam can be located in the central portion of the front panel where the first layer overlaps with the second layer. An edge of the first layer can form an opening within the circular seam, through which the undergarment can be folded in on itself. The circular seam can define a shape of the self-contained pouch when the undergarment is folded in on itself.
COLLAR PROTECTOR
According to some embodiments, a three-ply collar protector for insertion between a collar and a person includes a first absorbent material comprising a first absorbency, a second absorbent material comprising a second absorbency and a non-absorbent material configured for stopping moisture from passing. The first absorbent material is configured for contact with a person's skin. The second absorbent material is disposed between the first absorbent material and the non-absorbent material.
Garment with wipe zones
A garment having one or more wipe zones for transferring away perspiration from a wearer's skin upon contact with the wearer's skin is provided herein. The wipe zones may be comprised of hydrophobic material formed from yarns having a smaller denier per filament (DPF) than adjacent non-wipe zones on the garment. In some aspects, the DPF of the wipe-zone material is within a range of 0.025 to 0.0025. The wipe zones may be positioned on an outer-facing surface of the garment or an inner-facing surface of the garment in areas that are readily accessible to remove perspiration from the wearer's hands and/or head. Methods of manufacturing a garment having wipe zones are also provided herein.
