A container includes a lid and a base. The lid includes a lid rim and a skirt extending downwardly from the lid rim. The base includes a base rim and a base flange extending outwardly from the base rim. The skirt overlaps the base flange when the container is in a closed configuration, and the skirt includes a sealing ring that engages the base flange to seal the lid to the base in the closed configuration. A plurality of cut-outs are formed in the sealing ring that alleviate concentration of friction between the sealing ring and the base flange when a force is applied to separate the lid from the base.

VACUUM HEAT-PRESERVATION BOX LID AND VACUUM HEAT-PRESERVATION LUNCH BOX

Disclosed are a vacuum heat-preservation box lid and a vacuum heat-preservation lunch box. The vacuum heat-preservation box lid includes: a box lid body; a frame bracket, the frame bracket being connected to the box lid body, the frame bracket being provided with at least one rotatable fastening lug, the fastening lug being provided with an air release hole plug; and a seal ring, the seal ring being connected to the box lid body, the seal ring being provided with an air release hole for communicating an inside of a box body with the outside. When the fastening lug is snapped shut, the air release hole plug is in interference fit with the air release hole, thus blocking the air release hole. When the fastening lug is opened, the air release hole plug is separated from the air release hole, thus unblocking the air release hole.

Container covers and methods of using the same

A cover for a container that includes a lid portion and a collar element. The lid portion having a main body section surrounded by a peripheral sealing shoulder. The collar element having a peripheral collar sealing shoulder that includes a collar groove and wherein the lid portion is connected to the collar portion through a hinge element. The lid portion, collar element and hinge portion are formed as a unitary structure and the lid portion articulates from an open positon in which it is spaced apart from the collar element to a closed position wherein the peripheral bead sealing shoulder of the lid portion engages with the peripheral collar sealing shoulder of the collar element.

Modular system for inventory and transport efficiency of packaging

Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.

20190193903 · 2019-06-27 ·

Disclosed is an improved food package that includes a food bowl having an open top and a closed bottom and in which a food (e.g., hummus) and a topping are packaged. A sealing ledge extends inwardly from the food bowl downwardly from and below the open top thereof. A peel-off film that is sealed against the sealing ledge extends laterally across the food bowl above and in close proximity to the food and the topping. The peel-off film closes the food bowl and prevents the food and its topping from spilling out. By virtue of locating the peel-off film below the open top of the food bowl, a relatively low volume airspace is established between the film and the food to prevent a premature mixing of the food and the topping when the food package undergoes a high pressure processing (HPP) treatment.
