CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER WITH IMPROVED RETENTION FEATURES
A closure (20, 20A, 20B) for a container (22) with an outwardly projecting flange (25). The closure including a skirt (50, 50A, 50B) for attaching the closure (20, 20A, 20B) to the container (22). The skirt (50, 50A, 50B) has an annular, flexible retention member (66, 66A) extending laterally inwardly from a lower end portion (54, 54A, 54B) of the skirt (50, 50A, 50B) to define a connection (62, 62A, 62B) therebetween. In one form, the flexible retention member (58, 58A, 58B) has (a) an initial, undeflected configuration, (b) a deflected configuration rotated away therefrom about the connection (62, 62A, 62B), and (c) a proximal end surface (126, 126A) located at the connection (62, 62A, 62B) defining a shoulder when the flexible retention member (58, 58A, 58B) is in the undeflected configuration. In another form, the flexible retention member (58, 58A, 58B) is movable into the deflected configuration when subjected to an axial force of between about 100 Newtons and about 150 Newtons.
Lid
A lid for outfitting a container is provided. The lid includes a cover shell defining a first cavity, a clamp including a frustum portion, a hinge member constructed to pivotally interconnect the clamp with the cover shell. The cover shell is releasably lockable to the clamp.
FOOD STORAGE CONTAINER
A food or beverage storage container which is configured to secure one or more dividers to allow for reconfigurable interior compartments for the container. The dividers may include a resilient gasket which, when compressed, forms an airtight seal between the compartments. The dividers may also include an integrated material such as a gel that can be heated or cooled in order to maintain a desired temperature within the container. The container includes a lid that engages the top surfaces of the dividers to establish a plurality of substantially sealed compartments within the container.
Clamshell container movement control stabilizers
In an embodiment, the invention comprises a container apparatus with a lateral stability rail system. At least one rail extends within the lid portion and at least one track extends through the base portion. The rail terminates in a tooth and the track terminates in a pocket. When the container is in a hingedly closed position, the at least one rail nests within the at least one track and the at least one tooth nests within the at least one pocket.
Snap action container
A snap action container includes: a cover plate and a container body; wherein the cover plate is rotatably connected to the container body by a rotation shaft, and covered on the container body; an elastomer receiving chamber is arranged at a position, corresponding to the rotation shaft, on the container body, an elastomer being inclinedly disposed in the elastomer receiving chamber, and one end of the elastomer being abutted against the rotation shaft; and when the cover plate is covered on the container body, the cover plate drives the rotation shaft to rotate, such that the rotation shaft presses against the elastomer to cause the elastomer to be subjected to elastic deformation.
SPILL PREVENTING CONTAINER LID
A spill-preventing lid for a container comprises a lid body having a top, a bottom, a peripheral flange and a drink opening through the body from the bottom to the top, and a spill-preventing baffle, the baffle comprising a wall extending downwardly from the bottom of the lid body, the baffle having a top and a bottom, the top of the baffle communicating with the drink opening, at least one opening in the bottom, and a passage leading from the at least one opening in the bottom to the top, allowing liquid to flow from the container into the baffle, though the passaged defined by the baffle and to the drink opening, the at least one opening in the bottom being substantially smaller in dimension than the dimension of the drink opening.
Injection molded lid
Disclosed herein is an injection molded lid for use with a container. The lid includes a lid body and a securing member, respectively made of a first material and a second material. The lid body includes a cover portion and a flange portion disposed around the periphery of the cover portion. One side wall of the flange portion has one or more notches. The securing member includes at least one tab and a frame disposed at the flange portion. The tab extends from the top or bottom of the frame and covers the notch. Also disclosed herein is a container and lid assembly that includes a container and an above-described injection molded lid.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PACKAGING AND TRANSPORT OF BIOLOGICAL TISSUE
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a biological tissue packaging system, as well as a transport system, and, in some embodiments, comprises a first package, a secondary package, and a tertiary package. Each of the first, second, and tertiary packages is sterilized prior to packaging of a biological tissue therein. The first package comprises a pouch, and a first tray and a first lid configured for removable snap-fit attachment to one another so as to form a clamshell container. The secondary package is configured to contain the first package and interlock therewith. The tertiary package is configured to contain the secondary package and interlock therewith.
LID, MOLD, AND LID MANUFACTURING METHOD
According to an aspect, a lid includes a circular top portion, a fitting portion, and a skirt portion. The top portion has a drinking hole. The fitting portion includes an inner fitting portion protruding upwardly from a peripheral end of the top portion and adapted to contact a rim-side inner circumferential surface of a container body, and an upper fitting portion thicker than the inner fitting portion and adapted to be fitted onto a rim of the container body. An upper end of the fitting portion is at a level higher than the drinking hole. The skirt portion at its upper end is continuous with an outer-side lower end of the fitting portion. The skirt portion extends downwardly away from the rim. The skirt portion is adapted to cover a rim-side circumferential surface of the container body.
LID
A lid that closes a mouth of a container is made of a material principally including a paper material. The lid includes a side wall that is fitted into the mouth of the container, and a top lid that is surrounded by the side wall. The top lid includes an inlet/outlet formation part that forms an inlet/outlet for an article stored in the container, and a temporary fixing part that temporarily fixes the inlet/outlet formation part to the top lid. This can achieve a lid that has satisfactory thermal insulation, can reduce leakage, is user-friendly, can reduce a manufacturing cost, and is conscious of environmental issues.
