A package for contact lenses package having an ability to block ultraviolet and high energy visible wavelengths. The package has a transmissibility of less than 20% at wavelengths between 250 nm and 475 nm, and a transmissibility equal to or greater than 10% at the light wavelengths greater than 480 nm
OPHTHALMIC BLISTER PACK
A blister package for ophthalmic drugs that includes a base layer having a first side and a second side. At least one dome extends from the first side with each dome defining a cavity that receives a liquid drug dose. An intermediate layer extends over the second side of the base layer and covers each cavity. The intermediate layer includes an integrally formed nozzle aligned with each cavity. A removable layer extends over the intermediate layer and is releasable from the intermediate layer for uncovering each nozzle opening.
Contact lens packages and methods of use
A blister package for a contact lens includes a base sheet and a sealing sheet. Either the base sheet or the sealing sheet includes a bowl, and the other sheet includes a dome and a sealing surface. The dome has a radius of curvature of about 13 mm to 19 mm and a height of less than 7 mm relative to the sealing surface. The dome is configured to protrude into the bowl to form a cavity. Related methods are also described.
Pharmaceutical package
The invention relates to a carrier for pharmaceutical compositions, the carrier comprising at least a first and a second portion. Each of the first and second portions comprises at least two cavities for housing pharmaceutical composition, and at least one cover sheet covering said at least two cavities. The cavities of the first and second portions are arranged so that the first and second portions can be placed in an overlapping configuration with the cavities of the first portion positioned in spaces between the cavities of the second portion. At least one of the cavities of the first portion comprises at least one bulge, and at least one of the cavities of the second portion comprises at least one depression adapted to engage with said at least one bulge to form a mutual engagement between the first and second portions. By this engagement, mutual movement of the first and second portions is restricted, so that a rigid structure is produced. The invention further relates to a pharmaceutical package such a carrier and a container for holding said carrier.
BLISTER PACK
The present invention relates to a blister pack that comprises a base laminate with a sealing layer and a lid laminate with a sealing layer, the base laminate having at least one cavity housing a product. The base laminate and the lid laminate are directly sealed to each other via their identical sealing layers whereby the seal comprises two different sealing subzones, a first sealing subzone providing a permanent seal and a second sealing subzone providing a peelable seal.
MEDICAL KIT PACKAGE AND PRODUCT MARRYING PROCESS
A package for a medical kit and a product marrying process are provided. The package has a tray including a first compartment proximate to a first end of the tray, a second compartment proximate to a second end of the tray, and a rim surrounding the first and second compartments. A flexible cover sheet is sized to cover the first and second compartments of the tray. The cover sheet is heat-sealed to the rim during a first sealing process in which a primary seal is formed to seal the first compartment of the tray, such that access to the second compartment still remains available. The cover sheet is further heat-sealed to the rim during a second sealing process in which a secondary seal is formed along the second end of the tray such that the secondary seal complements the primary seal to seal the second compartment of the tray.
Battery Package
A battery package is described herein that advantageously maintains separation between batteries received therein while also providing a resealable opening to sequentially retrieve batteries therefrom. Further, the battery package can include an outer covering.
A PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGE
