ACTIVE-WEAR BRA AND METHOD
An athletic bra to support a human wearer's breasts include a band, a breast covering section, a back section, and a pair of shoulder straps joining the breast covering section to the back section. The breast covering section includes an inner layer forming a pair of molded cups, each cup constructed to encapsulate a respective one of the breasts. A support member is bonded to the inner layer and includes a lower section extending between each of the cups and the band, and a medial section extending at least partially between the cups. The bra can accommodate band sizes of 32-50 and cup sizes of AAA-K.
UPPER BODY SHAPER GARMENT
Disclosed embodiments include an upper body shaper garment for women. The garment contours the breasts and other aspects of the chest area into a fashionable form by delivering distinct amount of compression force at select areas of the garment. In various embodiments, the shaper garment includes a support area covering the breasts and a shaping area including one or more compression zones for moving the support area to enhance the appearance of the wearer. The shaper garment may be knitted from one continuous piece of fabric with the compression areas knitted directly into the base layer. The shaper garment may also include one or more transition zones between the areas and/or zones of the garment to smoothly transition between different areas and/or zones.
Quick-Drying Lightweight Bra
Aspects herein are directed to a bra having a front portion formed with multiple layers of mesh to provide a supportive, modest bra that is breathable, lightweight, and quick drying. The front portion includes an interior support panel assembly having a first panel made of a mesh material and a second panel made of a spacer mesh material that is adjacent and external to the first panel. The front portion also includes an upper support panel made of a spacer mesh material and a lower support panel made of a mesh material that each are positioned adjacent and external to the interior support panel assembly. The upper support panel and the lower support panel are each defined by a top edge and a bottom edge, and at least a portion of the upper support panel bottom edge may be positioned superior to the lower support panel bottom edge.
ATHLETIC BRA
An athletic bra includes a support panel shaped to include first and second cups. Grooves are formed into the panel to provide areas of increase flexure and/or stretch. A textile layer can be secured to the support panel.
Brassiere
The present invention relates generally to brassieres, particularly to brassieres for fuller figured and plus size women, and more particularly to brassieres for fuller figured and plus size women to wear during sporting activities. According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a brassiere comprising a cradle, two straps and two cups each for receiving a breast, each of the cups having an around cup edge section, an underarm edge section, a neckline edge section, a center edge section and an apex, wherein the brassiere further comprises a Y-shaped control panel generally extending from the straps across the top of the neckline edge section of each of the cups and down the center edge section of each of the cups to the cradle.
BRASSIERE
Disclosed is a brassiere comprising: left and right bust sections, each comprising a top section and a bottom section; a rear member having a first end and a second end and configured to be adjustable in length to vary a distance between the first end and the second end; left and right shoulder straps connecting the top section of each of the left and right bust sections to the first end of the rear member; a chest band connecting the bottom section of each of the left and right bust sections to the second end of the rear member; and first and second adjustment mechanisms for adjusting a length of the chest band. The first and second adjustment mechanisms are positioned on respective first and second sides of the second end of the rear member. Also disclosed is a kit comprising a brassiere and a plurality of cup inserts.

An athletic bra includes a support panel shaped to include first and second cups. Grooves are formed into the panel to provide areas of increase flexure and/or stretch. A textile layer can be secured to the support panel.
SPORTS BRA BUST SUPPORT TESTING
A method and sensor for testing and evaluating a sports bra for a level of support provided by the sports bra includes selecting a sports bra and removably attaching one sensor to the wearer of the sports bra. The wearer of the sports bra completes an exercise regimen corresponding to a support level indicated for the sports bra and the vertical, lateral and backward/forward movement of a bust supported by or within the sports bra is measured with the single sensor. A largest change in movement in each of the vertical, lateral and backward/forward directions is calculated to determine the level of support actually provided by the sports bra for accurate labeling of the support level of the sports bra for accurately informing consumer purchasing.
GARMENT HAVING ENGINEERED LACE ZONES
Examples of a garment having engineered lace zones are disclosed. The garment comprises a lace panel that forms at least a portion of the garment and that has a first engineered lace zone and a second engineered lace zone. The first engineered lace zone has a first structural property and the second engineered lace zone has a second structural property.
ELASTIC BAND CONSTRUCT
An elastic band for an article of clothing is described comprising an elongated strip-shaped outer layer of woven, longitudinally stretchable fabric, the outer layer being hydrophilic; an elongated strip-shaped inner layer of a different woven, longitudinally stretchable fabric the inner layer being hydrophobic and a logo woven into the fabric of the outer layer. Also disclosed is a double-layer construct for an elastic band comprising a hydrophobic section having apertures, a hydrophilic section having apertures, wherein the hydrophobic and hydrophilic sections are juxtaposed.
