Active-wear bra and method
An athletic bra to support a human wearer's breasts include a band, a breast covering section, a back section, and a pair of shoulder straps joining the breast covering section to the back section. The breast covering section includes an inner layer forming a pair of molded cups, each cup constructed to encapsulate a respective one of the breasts. A support member is bonded to the inner layer and includes a lower section extending between each of the cups and the band, and a medial section extending at least partially between the cups. The bra can accommodate band sizes of 32-50 and cup sizes of AAA-K.
CONDUCTIVE BAND FOR BIOSENSING GARMENTS
Embodiments described herein relate generally to wearable electronic biosensing garments. In some embodiments, an apparatus comprises a biosensing garment and a plurality of electrical connectors that are mechanically fastened to the biosensing garment. A plurality of printed electrodes is disposed on the biosensing garment, each being electrically coupled, via a corresponding conductive pathway, to a corresponding one of the plurality of electrical connectors. The apparatus can further include an elongate member including a conductive member that is coupled to a plurality of elastic members in a curved pattern and that is configured to change from a first configuration to a second configuration as the elongate member stretches. The change from the first configuration to the second configuration can result in a change of inductance of the conductive member.
PRESSURE-DISTRIBUTING UNDERGARMENT
This invention relates to undergarments for use in active environments, where the wearer of such an undergarment is engaged in an activity that results in accelerating movements. In some preferred embodiments, these undergarments may be athletic or sports bras that redirect momentum related to a wearer's accelerating movements, for example, during exercise.
DOUBLE-SIDED WEAR TWO-COLOR BRA
A double-sided wear two-color bra comprises a bra cloth. A pair of sponge pad filling cavities are symmetrically arranged an inside the bra cloth, and an inside of the two sponge pad filling cavities is movably filled with a sponge pad respectively; a pair of lingerie straps are seamlessly connected to an upper part of the bra cloth; the upper part of the bra cloth is located between the two lingerie straps, and a neckline is also arranged between the two lingerie straps; a color of an outside and an inside of the bra cloth is different; and a sponge pad filling cavities is a closed space. The present disclosure adopts a double-sided hot-pressing compound seamless connection as a whole, without the stitches of a traditional bra, so the outside and inside sides of the bra can be worn.
ATHLETIC BRA
A sports garment includes a cup portion that receives and conforms to a user’s breasts, a base portion disposed along a bottom edge of the cup portion, a first strap portion disposed along a first side edge of the base portion, and a second strap portion disposed along a second side edge of the base portion. The first and second strap portions each include a shoulder strap that may be removably coupled to the cup portion to adjust the tension of the sports garment and a side strap that may be removably coupled to a front surface of the base portion to adjust the tension of the sports garment. The first and second side straps may flex between an open position and a wrapped position.
ADAPTIVE APPAREL WITH SUPPORT CONTROL SYSTEM
An article of apparel providing dynamic support for an appendage of a person is discussed herein. The article of apparel can include a support garment control device configured to provide dynamic support. The support garment control device can include a control lace coupled to a support portion of the article of apparel. In an example, the support garment control device configured to apply a first tension on the control lace, lock the support garment control device at the first tension to inhibit movement of the control lace in response to detecting a change in movement of the person, and unlock the support garment control device after a pre-determined event subsequent to the change in movement of the person.
MECHANICAL CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADAPTIVE APPAREL
A control system for controlling tension applied to a lace cable coupled to a support structure of an adaptive support garment is discussed herein. The control system can include a lace spool, a damper mechanism, and a locking ring. The lace spool can include a lace groove to receive the lace cable and a rotary bias member to apply rotational tension to resist extension of the lace cable out of a housing holding the control system. The damper mechanism is engagable with the lace spool to generate an additional rotational tension resisting extension of the lace cable out of the housing. The locking ring is frictionally coupled to the lace spool, and the locking ring can include a lock wedge adapted to disengage the damper mechanism upon rotation into a pre-determined rotational position relative to the damper mechanism.
DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADAPTIVE APPAREL
A control system for use within an adaptive support garment is discussed herein. The control system can include a lace spool, a ratchet mechanism, an actuator, and a control circuit. The lace spool can include a lace groove adapted to accumulate a portion of a lace cable coupled to a support structure within the adaptive support garment. The ratchet mechanism can be configured to control rotation of the lace spool during operation of the control system. The actuator can be adapted to control engagement of the ratchet mechanism. The control circuit electrically can be coupled to the actuator and can be configured to operate the actuator to engage or disengage the ratchet mechanism. In operation, rotation of the lace spool controls an effective length of the lace cable to provide adaptive support.
Wearable Article and Method of Making the Same
The wearable article 100 comprises an inner fabric layer 101 and an outer fabric layer 11loverlapping the inner fabric layer 101 to form an overlapping region 121. An electronics component 200a, 200b is disposed at least partially between the inner and outer fabric layer 101, 111 in the overlapping region 121. The inner fabric layer 101 comprises an opening 143a, 143b to expose part of the electronics component 200a, 200b.
Garment incorporating aqueous polyurethane dispersions having altered stress profile
Articles, such as garments, including films comprising dried aqueous polyurethane dispersions are disclosed, whereby the garment has an altered stress which is exhibited during wear of the garment. The film may be bonded to the fabric of the article to provide a fabric or film laminate.
