BRASSIERE AND FRONT PANEL FOR BRASSIERE
A brassiere includes bra cups holding a wearer's breasts. A shaping foam layer is sandwiched between outer and inner layers of each bra cup and extends from a lower to an upper edge of each cup. A support shelf assembly spans across a lower portion of each bra cup and includes a support component located proximate the lower edge of the cups, a non-stretch stabilizer fabric layer spanning between both cups and along a full length of the support component, and a supportive foam layer spanning between both cups and along the support component. The inner, outer, shaping foam, stabilizer fabric, and supportive foam layers span across a center gore that connects the bra cups to form a front panel of the brassiere. The support shelf assembly is molded between the inner layer and the shaping foam layer and is an embedded, integral part of the front panel.
BRASSIERE INCLUDING A SUPPORT EDGE STARTING UNDERNEATH THE CUP TO RISE TO THE REAR ATTACHMENT OF THE STRAP
A brassiere includes two cups attached by a central link, a lateral band affixed onto a side of each cup and terminating at a central rear hook, and a strap supporting an upper part of each cup. Each strap extends forward via an internal reinforcement edge meeting the central link and via an external reinforcement edge separate from the cup forming an upper contour of the lateral band. A support edge, starting underneath the cup, extends outwardly, rising continuously to terminate at a rear attachment point of the strap, where the support edge forms an upper contour of a support piece independent of the lateral band.
GARMENT SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND CASING
A garment, such as a bra, may include a frame, support structure, casing and/or housing. The frame may be adapted to fit underneath a wearer's breasts and partially wrap around her torso. The support structure be coupled to the frame and may include a volumetric cup positioned thereon, which may be a cantilever projection from the frame adapted so that a portion of a wearer's breasts may be inserted therein. The frame and/or support structure may be encased in a casing. Casing may increase the size of volumetric cup to cover a larger portion of the wearer's breast. Casing may also provide padding or other mechanisms to increase the comfort of wearing the frame, support structure, and/or casing for the wearer. The casings (one for each side of the wearer) may be housed in a housing that wraps around the wearer's torso thereby enabling the wearer to wear the garment.
HIGH IMPACT AND HIGH SUPPORT BRAS
Bras for high impact, high support activities are provided. A bra comprises a band that wraps around a torso. The band includes first and second cup regions, and a channel that runs below the collective cup regions. A gore is formed above the channel and between the respective cup regions, adjoining the respective cup regions. A molded cradle is fitted into the channel. For each cup region, a tessellated encapsulating bra cup is fitted therein. Each tessellated encapsulating bra cup includes a plurality of tiles. Respective tiles in the plurality of tiles that are further away from the cradle are larger in size than respective tiles in the plurality of tiles that are closer to the cradle. Each tessellated encapsulating bra cup has a generally concave first inner face and a generally convex first outer face. The tessellated encapsulating bra cups collectively contribute cantilevered support to the bra.
Athletic Bra with Heavy Duty Hook-and-Loop Type Fasteners for Size and Compression Adjustment
An athletic bra with heavy duty hook-and-loop type fasteners for size and compression adjustment providing bi-lateral cup size and compression and band size variability.
Garment with weighted elastic portion
A garment and portions of a garment presently disclosed contains a body having a front portion and a back portion, and a plurality of weighted inserts coupled with an elastic material, wherein the plurality of inserts are separated by a first distance when the garment is not being worn by a user, wherein the plurality of inserts are separated by a second distance when the garment is being worn by the user, wherein the second distance is greater than the first distance. Alternatively, the weights ma be fixed to the elastic.
GARMENT
The undergarment may include a multi-panel front construction in order to minimize the prominence of breast buds, nipples, and even mature breast tissue without sports bra-like compression. The garments are uniquely designed to maximize comfort with their super-soft external material and to maximize self-esteem with their unique inner front panel. The interior front panel is constructed from a different material than the external layers.
TRIM PIECE FOR AN APPAREL ITEM
A trim piece is provided herein comprising a first zone adapted to be folded over an edge of an apparel item, a second zone, and a third zone interposed between the first and second zones. The trim piece is positioned on the apparel item such that a majority of the trim piece is positioned on an outer-facing surface of the apparel item.
Adjustable bra
The present disclosure is directed to various embodiments of an adjustable bra, or sports bra. The bra includes a front portion, side portions and a rear portion. Two straps extend between the front portion and the rear portion. The bra further includes a chest band which extends about its lower perimeter. The bra additionally includes a corset mechanism. The various embodiments of the bra disclosed herein are adjustable in at least four ways to suit any size and any activity. First, the wearer may adjust the diameter of the chest band. Second, the wearer may adjust the length of the straps. Third, the wearer may adjust the position of the straps (i.e., whether crossed). Finally, the user may adjust the corset mechanism to vary compressive forces on the breasts. In various embodiments, each of these adjustments is made from the front of bra and without requiring removal.
Bra with interior stretch support
A brassiere includes a back portion and a front portion coupled to the back portion at side areas. Straps are coupled to the front portion and the back portion. Cup panels are provided on the front portion and extend to the straps. Each cup panel includes a perimeter cup region and a central cup region located on the front portion and a strap region located on one of the straps. The perimeter cup region and the strap region having a greater elastic modulus than the central cup region. In at least one embodiment, each cup panel includes a first layer and a second layer. The second layer is provided by a polymer sheet including a plurality of openings formed in the polymer sheet. The arrangement of the openings on the polymer sheet contributes to the elastic modulus in the central cup region, the perimeter cup region, and the strap region of the cup panel.
