FOUR-WAY HYDRAULIC VALVE FLOW CONTROL BODY
A valve comprising a rotor, the rotor comprising two passageways and two or more sealing faces. The valve allowing for controlling air flow between four directions. The valve can be capable of operating in a number of operation modes depending on a position of the rotor. The valve design can include a valve-housing with three ports in plane with a first plane and one port normal to the first plane. A rotary valve provides a plurality of predetermined flow modes between four ports. The valve comprises an outer layer and a rotatable inner layer. The inner layer allows for a number of different flow configurations between four ports.
Systems and methods for air cart pressurization monitoring
In one embodiment, a pneumatic distribution system configured to distribute a granular product to an agricultural implement includes a first pressure sensor, a second pressure sensor, and a controller. The first pressure sensor is configured to be fluidly coupled to a storage tank configured to store the granular product and positioned upstream of the meter roller. The first pressure sensor is configured to output a first signal indicative of a first static pressure in the storage tank. The second pressure sensor is configured to be fluidly coupled to a component of the pneumatic distribution system, downstream of the meter roller. The second pressure sensor is configured to output a second signal indicative of a second static pressure downstream of the meter roller. The controller is communicatively coupled to the first pressure sensor and to the second pressure sensor. The controller is configured to determine a pressure differential, wherein the pressure differential is the difference between the first static pressure and the second static pressure. The controller may also be configured to generate a first warning when the first static pressure is below a threshold value and output the first warning to an operator interface, generate a second warning when the pressure differential is below a desired range and output the second warning to the operator interface, and generate a third warning when the pressure differential is above the desired range and output the third warning to the operator interface.
METER ROLLER FOR AN AGRICULTURAL METERING SYSTEM
A profile insert for a meter roller of an agricultural metering system includes a flute and a recess positioned adjacent to one another along a circumferential axis of the profile insert. The flute and the recess are configured to meter flowable particulate material from a storage tank to a material distribution system via rotation of the profile insert. The profile insert also includes at least one locking element configured to substantially block circumferential rotation of the profile insert relative to a spindle. In addition, the profile insert is configured to extend about only a portion of a circumference of the spindle.
Seed deflector and agitator for an agricultural product distribution system
A seed planting system includes a seed storage tank to store seeds. A seed meter is fluidly coupled to the seed storage tank via a flow path, in which the seed meter receives seeds from the seed storage tank and distributes the seeds to ground engaging opener assemblies. A seed deflector is coupled to the seed storage tank directly above the flow path. The seed deflector guides the seeds from the seed storage tank into the flow path at an angle relative to a vertical axis of the flow path.
Inline Product Metering System For Fertilizer And Seed Application System
The present invention is directed to an applicator having an agricultural product conveying system which transfers particulate material from one or more source containers to application equipment on demand, and meters the material at the application equipment. The conveying system includes an inline metering system including a number of metering devices associated with each compartment of a particulate material tank on the applicator to meter the particulate material disposed within each compartment. The individual metering devices include gates to initially enable the particulate material from a compartment to enter the metering device, and a rotary metering shaft to meter the flow of the particulate material into the conduits while limiting the passage of pressurized air through the metering device and into the compartment. The individual metering devices also include individual motors to control the operation of the metering devices independently from one another that can allow with sectional control and turning compensation.
METER ROLLER FOR AN AGRICULTURAL METERING SYSTEM
A meter roller for an agricultural metering system includes a spindle having a driven shaft, a first ring, and a second ring. The first ring and the second ring are rigidly coupled to the driven shaft, and the driven shaft is configured to engage a drive shaft to facilitate rotation of the spindle. The meter roller also includes a sealing ring longitudinally disposed between the first ring and the second ring. An outer diameter of the sealing ring is less than or equal to an outer diameter of the first ring and an outer diameter of the second ring, and the sealing ring is formed from a material having sufficient resilience to enable the sealing ring to stretch to facilitate disposition of the sealing ring between the first ring and the second ring.
Rotary Feeder with Cleaning Nozzles
A rotary feeder comprising a stationary, cylindrical housing having disposed therein a number of injection nozzles, and within which rotate a plurality of vanes about a central axis, wherein the housing extends a width along the central axis, wherein each of the vanes has a length along the central axis, and wherein the injection nozzles are positioned across the width of the housing, such that a spray pattern of a gas injected via the number of injection nozzles spans substantially the entire length of the vanes. A system comprising and a method utilizing such a rotary feeder are also provided herein.
